Super7 is beefing up Cobra-La again, this time by turning the Royal Guard from G.I. Joe ReAction+ Wave 4 into a full Force Pack. A Coming Soon listing has surfaced at BigBadToyStore for the G.I. Joe ReAction+ Cobra-La Royal Guard (Force Pack) BBTS Exclusive Action Figure Three-Pack, giving collectors an early look at an unannounced troop-building set inspired by G.I. Joe: The Movie. This follows the same basic idea as the recently released Fatal Fluffies three-pack, and I like seeing Super7 use these sets to build out Cobra-La!. Each 3.75-inch Royal Guard has the movie-based sculpt and paint details seen in Wave 4, along with O-ring construction and 12 points of articulation. The three figures will come together in retro box packaging designed to give the set the look and feel of an early ’80s toy release. Cobra-La’s strange organic designs have always stood apart from the rest of G.I. Joe, and a dedicated Royal Guard pack makes that corner of the ReAction+ line feel much more complete.

G.I. Joe ReAction+ Cobra-La Royal Guard (Force Pack) BBTS Exclusive Action Figure Three-Pack
The retro box front uses a full painted illustration of the three Cobra-La Royal Guards against a burst of yellow, orange, and red. An oversized striped logo fills the upper section, with the yellow Cobra Enemy badge tucked into the top corner.
Here we have all three Cobra-La Royal Guards, each sharing the same bright red armor, dark blue gloves and cape, and bold white markings across the chest and legs. The helmet has oversized blue-green lenses, a dark face covering, white ridges around the eyes, and a short red antenna.
Here we get a look at the three accessory loadouts, with each Cobra-La Royal Guard paired with a Sword, Spear, or Blaster. The broad Sword has a jagged edge and ribbed grip, the long Spear ends in a curved two-pronged head, and the green Blaster has beige ribbing wrapped around its organic shape.
