Special thanks to Stan Chan from Facebook for posting in hand images of the forthcoming GI Joe Classified Series Crimson Viper! He has more recently posted in hand images of the version 2 GI Joe Classified Series Firefly so it is great to get an early view for figures that are due out in the United States months from now. The images look amazing and we can’t wait to get these figures in hand and we know it is a simple repaint but somehow the crimson color is the icing on the cake!

The latest wave of GI Joe Classified Series figures are starting to show up in more collector’s hands, and we want to give a huge thanks to Rene Castro for taking these incredible Crimson Viper GI Joe Classified Series In Hand Images! This latest version of the Cobra Viper is a mere repaint, but oh boy is it a cool one! The Crimson Viper looks great next to all the other Crimson Cobras in the line thus far!
Crimson Viper
The Crimson Viper comes in the windowless display box featuring the figure and his accessories! On the side of the box, there is a QR code that takes you to a generic GI Joe Classified Series purchase page on Hasbro Pulse where you can buy all of the figures.
Getting a peak inside the box, you can see the illustration that was used for the Crimson Viper box art and the weapons and accessories included, which are all repaints of the version one Cobra Island Viper.
The crimson coloring came out fantastic and the blue bandana around the Crimson Viper’s neck goes really well with the overall color scheme. The black and gray paint apps on the figure really pop and they stand out against the crimson red base coloring of the figure.
The Crimson Viper is ready for action as he is posed with his rifle and some extra blast effects with another weapon from another Classified Series figure!

The Cobra Crimson ranks are growing, and now our Crimson Twins and Crimson guards will have a army of troops to command with the new Crimson Viper! This version of the Viper is a Crimson inspired repaint of the same Viper figure we got previously released now for the 3rd of 4th time in the line. He comes with his googles, neck scarf, backpack, pistol and sub machine gun. He joins the original Viper, Vipers for the 3 pack, and the Python Patrol Viper as yet another cool Viper in the rants! I guess you can never have enough Vipers in your Cobra army!

Vintage Crimson Viper
The original O-Ring Crimson Viper came out in 2002, as part of the Crimson Strike Team for the convention, as part of Joe Con. The Crimson Viper was part of the “Legacy of Valor” and came included with a Crimson Strike Team boxed set that included a Crimson Baroness, Crimson Tomax, Crimson Xamot, and twelve Vipers.

Stan did mention that the Crimson Viper “should go well with the Crimson Strike Team, which will be a Pulse Con 2023 exclusive convention item. The Crimson colors match the rest of the Crimson figures. Baroness comes with swappable glasses and hair. This will still be in plastic free packaging. They will come packed in a “briefcase” looking box, with some faux gold bars and the 3 crimson Strike team figures. This is the same brief case that Chuckles can be seen carrying.
The Crimson Strike Team was also on display at SDCC 2023 and the figures look even better in person! The Baroness has a nice shiny paint app on her upper torso and the gold accents they added to Tomax and Xamot really make them feel premium!
