Hot Toys has opened preorders for the Aliens MMS923 Ellen Ripley & Power Loader 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure and Vehicle Accessory, priced at $574.99, along with the standalone Aliens MMS924 Power Loader 1/6th Scale Vehicle Accessory for $424.99. Both are expected to ship in the first quarter of 2028. After seeing the pair in Hot Toys’ official images and among its Aliens 40th anniversary SDCC 2026 display, I’m glad collectors can choose between the complete set and the Loader by itself. The updated Ripley has a newly crafted head sculpt with rolling eyeballs, a silicone upper body, torn white T-shirt, grenade harness, and weathered Reebok Alien Stompers. The die-cast Power Loader stands about 51.5 cm tall and has more than 18 points of articulation, movable mechanical arms, legs, and grabbing claws, an opening roll cage, working webbing harness, and USB-powered lights. It’s an ambitious centerpiece built around the movie’s confrontation with the Alien Queen, and the $150 difference makes the bundled Ripley especially tempting.

Ellen Ripley and Power Loader Collectible Set

Here we have Ellen Ripley in the Power Loader’s yellow safety cage and and you can see the broad mechanical arms. The loader is covered in chipped paint, black hazard stripes, exposed hoses, and metal grating, with the light-up top warning beacon above the cockpit.

Here’s a closer look at Ellen Ripley’s portrait, with short curly hair, a focused expression, and red scrapes painted across both cheeks. The two black hand controls include coiled cables and small button details, and her silver wristwatch is visible beside the right grip.

Two long antenna rods extend above the Power Loader’s upper frame, and segmented black pads line the seat behind Ellen Ripley. Blue straps cross her shoes on the loader’s heavy foot platforms, while her gray pants include large cargo pockets and zippered sections at the knees.

The Power Loader’s long gripping forks carry alternating black-and-yellow warning stripes, with hydraulic cylinders running along the heavy arm assemblies. Circular pivot housings and smaller pistons fill the lower legs, and the wide armored feet are marked with more scuffs and worn edges.

Ellen Ripley’s white shirt has roughly cut sleeves and a loose neckline, while black suspenders run down to the wide belt over her cargo pants. Her off-white high-top sneakers include red laces, dark ankle panels, and red trim around the soles.

Ellen Ripley’s portrait has finely painted eyebrows, glossy eyes, and subtle skin texture across the nose and forehead, plus a small blood mark beneath her nose and other signs she was in a massive fight on her face.

The metal grating floor-themed figure stand has a black rectangular base with an Aliens plaque bearing Ellen Ripley’s name.

Here we can see Ellen Ripley’s separate rolling eyeballs set in two different directions. The newly painted battle-damaged effects include reddish abrasions across her cheeks and a small blood mark beneath her nose.

Here we get a look at the interchangeable right shoe and sock, swapping Ellen Ripley’s sneaker for a black ribbed sock beneath the ragged pant leg. The high-top has two black ankle straps, a padded red tongue, and heavy dirt and scuff marks across the off-white sections.

The Power Loader’s LED light-up function includes a bright orange top warning beacon and two white work lights built into the safety cage. Power comes through a USB connection, and the close-ups also pick out the red and blue wiring routed around the upper frame.

The Power Loader’s roll cage swings upward in stages, opening the front of the cockpit above the seat. Its functional seat belt uses blue straps threaded through a round red-and-silver buckle, with separate sections securing the waist and legs.

The Power Loader’s paired claw plates are presented at both narrow and wide settings, with a shorter stepped grip nested between the long outer forks. Each control joystick has a black pistol-style grip mounted on a ribbed support boot beside the operator’s seat.

From the back, the Power Loader’s chassis is crowded with thick black cables feeding into a bank of silver-tipped fittings along one side. The lines loop through the yellow framework in several different thicknesses, with ribbed collars and smaller connectors along their routes.

At approximately 51.5 cm tall, the Power Loader towers over Ellen Ripley but remains shorter than the Alien Queen’s raised head crest. The Queen’s long limbs and curled segmented tail also make her noticeably broader than the loader’s mechanical frame.

Power Loader

This layout gives a nice overview of the Power Loader from multiple angles, showing off the weathered yellow paint, exposed cabling, and heavy industrial framework that make this piece so impressive at 1/6th scale. The smaller inset views highlight details like the USB-powered LED lights, the dense wiring along the rear chassis, and the black-and-yellow hazard striping on the claw arms, while the large hero shot on the right emphasizes just how much mechanical complexity is packed into the lower legs and arm assemblies.

A fine mesh panel spans the Power Loader’s overhead cage, and the yellow bodywork carries small red warning decals and stenciled numbers, including “1833” beside the seat.

The Power Loader’s side has a large oval opening in the yellow chassis, with silver vent panels behind the cockpit and small latches and circular fittings across the angular outer housing.

Along the Power Loader’s right shoulder housing, a recessed control panel includes a red triangular indicator, small printed labels, and several round fittings. A red hydraulic cylinder runs down the outer arm beside long ribbed braces and bundled black hoses.

The outer shoulder armor carries “N-1726” and “Power Loader” markings, along with tiny caution labels, numbered fittings, and red-striped service panels.

The lower leg panels carry small “PW” and “BWD” stencils among recessed access doors, rectangular handles, and rows of bolts.

The Power Loader’s cockpit has angular black side pads around the ribbed seat, plus a thick padded bar running across the cage opening. Small black ties secure the red and blue lines to the yellow tubing along the left side.

Inside the Power Loader’s main arms, smaller yellow control linkages run beside the seat, with circular elbow housings and narrow finger-like assemblies at the ends.

Dark ribbed bellows sit between the Power Loader’s round ankle housings and boxy feet, flanked by pairs of slim silver support rods. Thick black cables loop down the rear of the lower legs and feed into fittings near the heel blocks.

The inner claw plates show scraped silver wear along their edges and dark grime worked into the seams, while circular industrial markings are printed across the yellow side housings.

Raised industrial lettering is molded into the Power Loader’s rear body panels, partially hidden beneath the cable runs, with deep scratches cutting through the yellow paint around the panel edges and support struts.
