It appears that we got a tip off from our friend Dan Diego on the 3 GI Joe Classified figures going up for preorder tomorrow. And then Angry Collectors on Instagram posted leaked images of those very same figures! So I guess the cat is out of the bag so to speak, and if it’s not obvious to you yet, Firefly, Crimson Viper, and Nunchuck GI Joe Classified Series are going up for preorder tomorrow, plus we have the leaked Images. Plus we now know that the Transformers X GI Joe Collaborative Thunder Machine Soundwave are also going up for preorder tomorrow as well! So let’s check out the Firefly, Crimson Viper, and Nunchuck GI Joe Classified Series leaked images!
Firefly
Since the start of the line, we are finally getting an updated more classic looking Firefly. You will see some familiar accessories, like his gun, but some more updated accessories like his backpack and his remote-control car.
Firefly Digital Render Reveal
We already have Firefly for the GI Joe Classified Series, but something about him just never sat right with all the collectors. He really wasn’t the classic Firefly we were all waiting for. Somehow, he was too stylized with that huge chest armor and just never looked right. Well, now is Hasbro’s second chance to do Firefly right!
Below is another amazing custom by Stronox Custom Figures, and gives us a great look at what an updated Classifed Firefly may look like! He has a much more elaborate grey, black and white camo pattern and of course his signature grenade chest straps! This represents what a great classic Firefly should be!
Crimson Viper
The Cobra Crimson ranks are growing, and now our Crimson Twins and Crimson guards will have a army of troops to command with the new Crimson Viper! This version of the Viper is a Crimson inspired repaint of the same Viper figure we got previously released now for the 3rd of 4th time in the line. He comes with his googles, neck scarf, backpack, pistol and sub machine gun. He joins the original Viper, Vipers for the 3 pack, and the Python Patrol Viper as yet another cool Viper in the rants! I guess you can never have enough Vipers in your Cobra army!

Vintage Crimson Viper
The original O-Ring Crimson Viper came out in 2002, as part of the Crimson Strike Team for the convention, as part of Joe Con. The Crimson Viper was part of the “Legacy of Valor” and came included with a Crimson Strike Team boxed set that included a Crimson Baroness, Crimson Tomax, Crimson Xamot, and twelve Vipers.
Nunchuck
Nunchuck was released carded as part of the eleventh series in 1992 as part of the Ninja Force subline. This green camo version of Nunchuck comes with a two swords, 2 black nunchuks, and a set of claw weapons.
Vintage Nunchuck
Nunchuck was also released in the GI Joe Collectors Club! According to JoeBattleLines.com, “G.I. Joe is a line that has traditionally adapted to the times and 1992 was no exception. “Ninja mania” had swept the nation and the line was facing competition in the toy aisles from the likes of Playmates Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that debuted five years earlier.
