Ghostbusters 18th Scale Plasma Series Ecto-1 & O-Ring Figures In Hand Images

We have had the Ecto-1 Plasma Series vehicle for sometime now, but finally the Ghostbusters O-ring figures have begun to ship to collectors! Celebrating the franchise’s 40th anniversary, the O-ring-style figures, made popular by Hasbro’s GI Joe brand, include the characters of Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore. Pack-ins included in the set are attachable Proton Packs for each Buster, along with a pair of Ecto Goggles, a PKE Meter, and a Ghost Trap. The Ecto-1 mobile can seat 3 Busters semi comfortably but looks really cool with the figures! It’s great to finally have the vehicles and figures all together, so let’s take a look at these Ghostbusters 18th Scale Ecto-1 & O-Ring Figures in hand images!
The Plasma Pack of action figures come in a very cool package that looks like a VHS tape of the Ghostbusters Movie. When you open the flap. it reveals the figures nicely displayed inside.
The figures come with their Proton Packs that click onto their back just like GI Joe O-Ring figures. The set also comes with a pair of Ecto Goggles, a PKE Meter, and a Ghost Trap. The rear of the package features the four heroes in a nice dio shot and product information.
These new O-Ring figures look great with the Kenner/Hasbro Stay Puft Marshmallow Man figure! It’s so cool to pose them like the Buster are trying to zap Stay Puft!

The dashboard in the front includes a steering wheel a nice instrument panel. Here is a view from both the driver side and passenger side.
You can sit 3 of the 4 heroes inside the Ecto-1. As there is seating for 4, the 2 seats in the rear are too tight for allow for 2 heroes to sit in front of each other.

There is also an included gurney to load the Proton Packs onto. They don’t sit on it very well, but it’s cool that it was included!

Back at the Hasbro WonderCon 2024 panel, we covered that Emily revealed a new Ghostbusters 1:18 scale Ecto-1 vehicle that was going to be compatible with 4 new Hero O-Ring 3 3/4″ figures, which were unveiled as well. Well, the Hasbro Ghostbusters 1:18 scale Plasma Series Ecto-1 is still available to purchase so your awesome Ghostbusters O-Ring figures have a sweet ride accompany it! March 30, 2024: Ghostbusters O-Ring WonderCon 2024 Reveals
We had the pleasure of attending the Hasbro Panel at WonderCon 2024, and we were so thrilled when Emily revealed the upcoming 1:18 Scale highly detailed 1984 version of the Ecto-1 vehicle! Not only did she reveal this incredible new Ecto-1, but she mentioned, that wouldn’t it be great if this cool vehicle had some proton packs to stow in the back, and that’s when she reveals the digital render images of new 3 3/4″ O-Ring figures of the original ghostbusters team! Emily said the Ecto-1 should retail for about $65 and the 4 pack of figures would retail for around $45. The Ecto-1 and 4 pack will be going up for preorder on Ghostbuster’s Day June 8, 2024. Here we can see for the first time ever, 3 3/4″ O-Ring figures of the original Ghostbusters team modeled after the characters in the movie, with proton packs, ghost traps and PKE Meter! They will come in a 4 pack and retail for approx. $45.
