GI Joe Classified Series SDCC 2023 Digital Renders and Pipeline Reveals

Digital Render Reveals,
Let’s take a look at the past Digital Render reveals to see what possible figures could be coming you for preorder at Hasbro Pulse Con 2023!
VAMP & Clutch
We also got treated to a surprise reveal of the VAMP and Clutch! Ribbon feed ammo. It fits 2 figures inside. It has a gear shift. The ontop are removeable. It has a tow hitch. Clutch comes with a helmet and tool belt that you can mix and match on other figures.

Vintage ones shown below for your reference.

SMS & Techno Viper
He has a read a screen on his right forearm to read schematics. On the side of the SMS it has a control screen on it. It comes with pneumatic weapons as well. Rockets s are about 9” long each.

SMS and Techno Viper
During the HasLab HISS Tank reveal, Lenny made a point about letting fans know that the HISS Tank comes with a tow hitch. All of the unlocks thus far have been add ons to the main HISS tank plus several figures, which leaves an empty tow hitch. What would be the perfect candidate for to take a ride on the back of the HISS Tank?

Cobra Sentry and Missile System (SMS)
We feel that the Cobra Sentry and Missile System (SMS) would be the PERFECT candidate for that tow hitch! It is a small form factor missile deployment weapon that would be the perfect add on for a HasLab campaign as a ‘thank you’ for ALL of the backers that have made the HISS Tank a success! It has two wheels and a piece to connect it to the HISS Tank’s tow hitch so they are a match made in heaven!
History of the SMS
Back in 1985, Hasbro created the S.M.S.(Sentry and Missile System), which is a is a two-component weapon system, consisting of a HISS Tank and the surface to air missile system. Like Hasbro is doing with their HasLab creations, Sears wanted Hasbro to create store exclusives to help draw customers to their stores or places orders through their catalogs. Similar to that of the C.A.T. tank, Hasbro created the Sentry and Missile System (S.M.S.) for Cobra! This set included a red Cobra H.I.S.S. tank that would tow a redecorated M.M.S. in black with red missiles. But where did this originally come from? Surely Hasbro wasn’t doing repaints early on in the line! Well, they were so let’s see where this originated from and the several repaints that followed through the years.

Target Exclusives
Target Fall Geek Out 2023 is in full swing and Hasbro’s drop #4 included these 3 incredible Python Patrol GI Joe Classified Figures! GI Joe Classified Series Target Fall Exclusives Python Patrol Copper Head, Python Patrol Officer and G.I. Joe Classified Python Patrol Tele-Viper Action Figure & Cobra Flight Pod have dropped for this Friday’s Fall 2023 Geek Out Preorders! They have already instantly sold out on Hasbro Pulse but we have all links for you below on where to find these! So let’s check out these GI Joe Classified Series Target Fall Geek 2023 Out Preorders!

Where to Buy

Python Patrol Copperhead
Python Patrol Copperhead is a repaint of the first release of Copperhead that came out not too long ago.

Python Patrol Cobra Officer
Python Patrol Cobra Officer is also a repaint of the first release.

Python Patrol Tele-Viper and Flight Pod
There was a rumor flying around that we might get a Python Patrol repaint of the Tele-Viper and the Flight Pod. We did get a Python Patrol repaint of the Tele-Viper in the vintage line and now that rumor is a reality and he looks absolutely stunning!

Actual Figures we have seen at SDCC 2023
Below are the figures we have already production samples of at this past year’s SDCC 2023.
Crimson Strike Team
We already know that Crimson Strike Team will be a Pulse Con exclusive and should be going up for preorder next week. The Crimson colors match the rest of the Crimson figures. Baroness comes with swappable glasses and hair. This will still be in plastic free packaging. They will come packed in a “briefcase” looking box, with some faux gold bars and the 3 crimson Strike team figures. This is the same brief case that Chuckles can be seen carrying.
The figures are also on display within the box with their footlocker of weapons and accessories. The Crimson strike team comes with a gaggle of weapons, accessories, and and even an alternate face sculpts for the Baroness! The weapons are gold and Hasbro has done an amazing job as the gold colored weapons tie in with the splashes of gold on the figures.

The outer box is silver and has a Cobra Logo on one side and the Extensive Enterprises branding with the Crimson Strike Team plate on the other side.

The trio of The Baroness, Tomax, and Xamot look amazing in this color scheme and we can also see the Baronesses faceplate in this shot and she looks fierce! The gold accents appear on the shoulder armor and on the belts.

Dio Images
We always look forward to seeing the official dio images as they are always top notch!

The scene looks like something out of Cobra Island and they look amazing in their poses holding their weapons.

The Baroness is the most unique digure in the bunch as the Joe Team gave her 3 alternate looks!

The most unique out of all of them is her gold and red faceplate and she looks stunning with it on!

Tomax and Xamot were tricksters in the original cartoon and their circus pose is very apropos!

Crimson Strike Team Description
The devil in the details and we really have to hand it to the Saturday Morning Toy Collector as he picked up on something that we don’t think many people are talking about. If you watch his reaction to the Walmart Collector Con 2023 GI Joe figure previews, he points out something very intersting about the in the description. If you actually read the Crimson Alley Viper description, there are two major things to point out. First, the Crimson Alley Viper description confirms the rumors that the Crimson Strike Team is coming to the GI Joe Classified Series. Up until this point, we’ve heard rumors and it’s great to see this in writing on an official GI Joe Classified Series product page! It specifically references the “Crimson Strike Team (Tomax, Xamot, and the Baroness).” If seeing the images on the SDCC 2023 exclusive Chuckles box art wasn’t enough to convince you

The Crimson Strike Team was also on display at SDCC 2023 and the figures look even better in person! The Baroness has a nice shiny paint app on her upper torso and the gold accents they added to Tomax and Xamot really make them feel premium!

Mutt and Junkyard
Mutt was released carded as part of the third series (1984). He was also sold in 1985, then was discontinued domestically in 1986. Mutt came with a black helmet, a black face mask, a black Ingram Mac-11 submachine gun with silencer, a black night stick, a black leash, and a black dog named “Junkyard.”

As a surprise to all of us, Mutt and Junkyard showed up in the Hasbro Display booth, unannounced and all! They look absolutely spectacular, with incredible detail! The Junkyard looks great wearing that dog vest, and Mutt has a very gritty look on his face, They even included arm and chest hair on him!

Name Only Pipeline Reveals
For the past few months, at various events including Yo Joe June, SDCC and the past Hasbro Pulse con, the Joe team has had several name only pipeline reveals added their list! Let’s run through the ones we have yet to see digital renders of or, just flat out production reveals. We also want to give a huge thanks to YoJoeARAH (@yojoearah) • Instagram photos and videos, for these absoutely stunning custom concepts of each of the Name Only pipeline reveals, as this gives us a great idea of what a 6″ scale figure of each would look like.
Airborne
He is the G.I. Joe Team’s helicopter assault trooper and debuted in 1983. To envision what a Classified Series figure of Airborne would look like, yojoeARAH has already created a custom of him and he looks pretty much like his vintage figure.

His real name is Franklin E. Talltree, and his rank is that of sergeant E-5. Airborne was born in a Navajo Reservation in Arizona. His primary military specialty is an airborne infantryman, while as his secondary military specialty he is a helicopter gunship gunner.

Doc
The last figure that was name only revealed today was none other than Doc! He would have been a great candidate for the Dragonfly HasLab but it is great to see him getting a mainline release. YoJoeARAH also cooked up a custom Doc in 6″ scale so we can envision what he might look like.

Doc is an avowed pacifist but never backed down from a challenge. When he heard about the G.I. Joe Team, he enlisted in the Army hoping to be on the team. He was told that the Army made no such deals. That didn’t stop Doc. He went on with his training and did all he can to get on the Joe Team. It is his belief that the Joe Team is the country’s best weapon against terror and that even they need a man who’s willing to go into the field when the going gets rough and the chips are down and patch them back up.

Quick Kick
Until 2008, the only Quick Kick action figure to ever come out was part of the 1985 series of A Real American Hero toy line. He came with a small, dark silver backpack (round on bottom), a silver sword with round hilt, and silver nunchukus.
