Indiana Jones Retro Collection Wave 2 Revealed

Indiana Jones fans got some very exciting news today! Hasbro is expanding their Indiana Jones Retro Collection. Indiana Jones Retro Collection Wave 2 was revealed and there are fans favorites from multiple Indy movies included! These new Wave 2 figures are overflowing with nostalgia! We get 2 new versions of Indy and Dr. Jones Sr., how cool is that? The card backs look amazing, straight outta the 1980’s Kenner Toy line, but never before made characters! These figures feature 7 points of articulation, similar to the 3 3/4″ 5 POA we are used to, but they added knee articulation so you can sit your figures on all those cool vehicles! Come on Kenner make some vehicles, ya know you want to!

UPDATE 03/14/2023: Figures showing up at Target and Gamestop Canada

As we role into spring, new figures are starting to show up in stores, and the new Retro Indian Jones line is now starting to show up at Targets and Gamestop Canada! Some lucky collectors have begun to find the retro collection figures on pegs! It looks like the first wave with Marion Ravenwood, Belloq, Toht and German Mechanic is now showing up in Target stores. Thanks to lucky collector Kenneth M Lario for posting these images of Wave 1 hanging on the pegs at Target! And a lucky collector found Harrison Schmidt found Indy himself at Game Stop Canada! We also tracked down the Indiana Jones Target Listing and DCPI code so you can find him instore and online!

Also there were reports of people find Indiana Jones Hasbro boxes on shipment carts, but they are street dated, so the Target employee did not let them purchase it. Also Wave 1 DCPI is photographed below and set date looks like it is March 18th! Thanks to all the collector’s credited at the bottom of each image for helping to inform the community!

Wave 2

Hasbro revealed 5 new Indiana Jones Retro Collection Wave 2 figures today, which include figures from 2 more of the films: Temple of Doom and the Last Crusade. These new figures look incredible, just like the vintage Kenner figures but are never before made figures! Preorders have not gone up yet for this wave, nor the previously announced Wave 1 figures.

Hasbro Pulse announced on their You Tube channel that Short Round, Indy (TOD), Sallah, and Dr. Jones will be available at ONLY at Target Spring of 2023!

The Indiana Jones (The Last Crusade) figure will be a Hasbro Pulse exclusive, Amazon, and Fan Channels like EE & BBTS, coming this Spring 2023!

Indiana Jones – Last Crusade

This version of Indy has never been made before! How cool is it to get this brand new retro Indy figure of how he appeared in the Last Crusade! Unlike the Wave 1 version, this version is wearing a tie. His image on the card back reflects this outfit while is riding a motorcycle. He comes with a satchel, gun, Holy Grail and The Last Crusade Cup of Christ Chalice, and of course includes his right arm trigger action feature!

Indiana Jones – Temple of Doom

This version of Indy has never been made before either! This is brand new retro Indy figure of how his rugged right arm sleeveless appearance in the Temple of Doom move! His image on the card back reflects this outfit while is running from Toom Raiders!. He comes with a huge machete, and of course includes his right arm trigger action feature! This version of Indy has a slightly bent right arm that he holds the machete in.

Dr. Henry Jones Sr.- Last Crusade

Finally, after all these years, the great Sean Connery final gets a figure made of himself! Yes, we are finally getting a Dr. Henry Jones Sr. action figure! He comes dressed in his signature tan suit and comes with an umbrella accessory.

Short Round- Temple of Doom

Short Round too is honored with a new never before made action figure of himself! Short Round is wearing his signature baseball cap and comes packed with a lit torch accessory! This is going to be a cool figure to display with Indy!

Sallah – Last Crusade

Sallah is a very cool new figure as well. Egyptian excavator and friend to Indiana Jones, Sallah is integral in assisting Indy in locating the lost Ark! Hasbro did a wonderful job interpreting Sallah into a Kenner style figure!

This is the quintessential version of the Kenner 1982 Indiana Jones Action Figure! A stunning recreation of the vintage original, Indy comes with his signature whip, and revolver. He inc;ludes his quick draw action feature as well. It will be amazing to have a minty fresh version of Indy, as vintage ones sell for a high price on the after market!

Marion Ravenwood – Raiders of the Lost Ark

Marion Ravenwood, damsel in distress and companion to Indy in Raiders of the Lost Ark! Hasbro did an excellent job in recreating the original series 1 1982 action figure! She comes complete with a real soft goods lace skirt and her little monkey companion.

Toht – Raiders of the Lost Ark

Toht, the quintessential bad guy! Another great recreation of the original vintage Kenner action figure. Toht comes with his black over coat and a revolver. This one is definitely a classic figure and a must have for Indiana Jones fans!

Belloq – Raider of the Lost Ark

Belloq is another wonderful recreation of the original 1980’s Kenner action figure. He comes complete with his red checkered soft goods robe, gold chest plate and golden staff! Kenner really nailed it when it comes to recreating a retro version of him.

German Mechanic

The German Mechanic is another classic vintage Kenner character. He looks tough, and I am sure you wouldn’t want to run into this guy in a crowded marketplace or working on your broken-down jeep! He comes complete with a wrench to work on Indy’s vehicles!
