Legends of Dragonore at Zolocon 2024

The latest Legends of Dragonore figures were on display that year’s Zolocon 2024. Formo Toys has officially revealed Waves 1.5, Wave 2 and the Dragons previously, but they were all on diplay at their Zolocon booth. This new line of figures looks to be a run away hit with MOTU fans and collectors alike! Wave 1 has already begun shipping to collectors so be sure to check out our Legends of Dragonore Wave 1 In Hand Images as well! So let’s dive into all the Legends of Dragonore figures showcased at Zolocon 2024!
Here you can see the entire booth on display at Zolocon 2024.
Below is the Second Divine Amor of Power, which should be the Build-A-Figure packed in with Wave 2. This looks to be a color variant of the Wave 1 Divine Armor of Power, but in a more purple and yellow motif.
Picture below are Arborist, Venatica the Dragon Hunter and Chief Talon, with the green Dragon Scorchwing, Mother of the Forest in the background.
Here we have The Lizard, Horri-Dame, Caveman Plural. More about each of these below.
Horri-Dame, and the army builder Caveman Plurals are below, along with the Blue Dragon Pyrant, Lord of Desolation.
Wave 1.5 figures were on display as well. Shown below are Dark Magic Apprentice Oskuro figure, Raitor, Night Hunter Pantera, Fire Fury Ka-Rem figure and Glacier Mission Barbaro figure. More about each of these below. Wave 1.5 is currently up for preorder at bigbadtoystore.com and Formo Toys.
Wave 2
Wave 2 consists of the following characters:

Chief Talon
Two stand out figures that were just previous digital render reveals at Power Con were the hit of this display! According to Formo Toys “Meet Chief Talon from Legends of Dragonore Wave 2, coming next year!” Chief Talon looks like a cool aztec like looking figure who looks to be a cross between Hawkman and Stratos! He as a cool winged mask and grey wings strapped to his arms. I love his native Indian style headress and chest garbs. This is the figure I am most looking forward to in Wave 2!

Venatica the Dragon Hunter
Also there was Venatica the Dragon Hunter! Venatica looks like she is based on the Yondra body type in another darker skin tone. She looks to be a jungle like hunting character with her very bohemian tropical gear. She is ready to slay dragons as you can see by the dragon skull she wears as a headress and the two axes she is carrying! I love how they used real metal chains as well!

Horri-Dame
Originally revealed as a digital render at Powercon 2023, the Witch, dubbed Horri-Dame, was on display as well. She looks very cool in a green skin tone, with a witch’s hat on and it looks like a bat like symbol on her chest! You can see how she can ride on her broomstick, which also has a handle.
She comes with a head sculpt that you can turn (like Man-E-Faces from MOTU) that has different facial expression by twisting her hat!
She has a soft goods outfit and she looks amazing riding her boomstick!

Caveman Plural
Below is the photos of the Caveman Plural. He is said to be an army builder that comes with multiple heads and multiple weapons. He looks really cool in a purpley grey skin tone and wearing a torn purple loin cloth. His staff is made of 2 parts so you can swap out the parts to change up the look with additional weapons.
Arborist
Below is the Arborist, the tree creature. as he looks like he has leaves growing from his body and he is holding a tree trunk club.
The Lizard
We still don’t have this one’s official name, so we are calling him “The Lizard”. He looks like figure is the coolest of the bunch, and looks really cool in his orange and red gradiant color scheme. He has blue chest armor and a cool halberd staff.

Wave 1.5 consists of

Glacier Adventure Barbaro
Barbaro is the heroic leader, and in this wave comes in a glacier inspired color scheme and a big furry white cape! He has an glacier blue colored open horned helmet and a white furry loin cloth. This time Barbaro gets white pants and glacier blue boots. He comes with a matching glacier blue axe as well. This Glacier Adventure version of Barbaro is a unique and fun repaint of the original.
Dark Magic Apprentice Oskuro
Dark Magic Apprentice Oskuro is the next new figure in the wave. Oskuro is Barbaro’s evil counterpart that has an obsessive fascination with the dark arts. This Dark Magiv Apprentice version is a much more colorful version of Oskuro, and looks a lot more human like as he has flesh colored skin as opposed to the grey color from Wave 1. Clad in a purple and grey color scheme with yellow accents, Oskura definitely is sporting that evil vibe with his scared eye. His chest harness is made of a translucent green plastic this time around and has a skull and crossbones on it. Dawning the same furry white cape as Glacier Adventure Barabaro and clutching his translucent green horned Chaos Staff, he looks like he means business!
Raitor
Raitor is the counter opposite of his Wave 1 red skinned demon counterpart Onitor. This blue skinned repaint uses the same mold as Onitor with the same tusks protruding from his face. Wearing yellow and red armor, the color combination stands of beautiful and gives him a very ornate look. His yellow eyes tie everything together and we hope you don’t cross paths with this blue brute! Toting a hot pink spiked club dubbed the Morning Star, he is sure to spark fear in his foes!
Fire Fury Ka-Rem
Newly named Fire Fury Ka-Rem, is the figure I am most excited about, so this red one is truly an exciting variant! Fire Fury Ka-Rem, who is cast in a red translucent plastic has the ability to travel between dimensions. Giving off a total genie vibe, he has a Staff of Light, which resembles a magic lamp. This version of the stall is in am orange translucent plastic. He has sort of fire like colors and accents that compliment his red skin and outfit really well!
Prophecy Vision Yondara
Another repaint of the Wave 1 Yondara, this time cast in a light blue translucent plastic. Yondara is said to be the chieftain, the priestess, the mother, and warrior. She has the ability to project her being through time and space. With a large translucent light blue headdress and matching chest armor and Divination staff, you really get tribal vibes from this figure. I really like the pink outfit and matching boots, as they go well with her translucent blue color. We don’t yet know the story behind the Prophecy Vision Yondara, but it will be cool to learn what it is.
Night Hunter Pantera
Finally we have Night Hunter Pantera looking stealthfully awesome in her black panther color scheme! Pantera is a black version of the blue cat’like creature from wave 1. Pantera, literally means female panther and she definitely fits bill with that fierce look on her face! She is from a lethal race of panther-like beings and she is cast in a black skin tone with white spots on the arms and legs. She has a unique gold chest armor that provides protection for her shoulders and chest. Her weapon of choice is a matching gold colored sword.
Wave 1.5 Preorders are live!
Preorders for Wave 1.5 went live today on bigbadtoystore.com and Formo Toys. There is a special pre-order price of $30 per figure. Retail price will be $35 per figure on any remaining stock after the pre-sale is over. This pre-order is planned to ship March 2024.
Dragons
Ignytor the Red
Ignytor the Red is the first of these new Dragons! He was shown off at last year’s 2022 Power Con! He looks absolutely spectacular. It looks like our Hero Barbaro can ride Ignytor the Red if he is in the 4-legged position, or Ignytor can stand up as well! Looks like he will come with an elaborate staff and chest armor!

With the illustration for Ignytor box art completed, we created a digital mock-up of what the final box will look like. Proportions are not 100% final but we’re confident the box will look very close to this.

You can see the other Dragons Scorchwing and Pyrant in the background, along with Oskuro, Barbaro and Ka-Rem! Ignytor seems to be holding a really cool lite up staff or septor, with a blue flame. They did several colors studies shown below.
It’s really cool to see how this new dragon scales with the rest of the Legends of Dragonore action figures. Here we can see him standing next to Barbaro and you can see how Ignytor towers over him!
Here we can see Ignytor from all sides and it allows you to see both his standing position and how he can be uses as a beast for your figures to ride on.

Pyrant, Lord of Desolation
Here is a closer look at the new Blue Dragon known as Pyrant, Lord of Desolation! He looks absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to get my hands on these new Dragons! Pyrant, Lord of Desolation comes with battle armor and skirt on as well, in gold color. The Dragons can be displayed both standing up human style or on all 4 legs!
Scorchwing, Mother of the Forest
The Green Dragon, known as Scorchwing, Mother of the Forest looks amazing! He is wearing yellow battle armor and a loin cloth of some sort. I love the red accents in his wings, and his green color reminds me of the forest!
