Mattel’s Spring 2026 catalog has officially dropped, and wow what a reveal! The 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection prominently featured, showcasing Waves 1 through 3 all together for the very first time! It’s such a full-circle moment to see this line come alive after months of piecing together early Information, listings, and reveals from SDCC 2025 to the present day. But the real surprise tucked inside the catalog is the introduction of two brand-new figures in the Sketch Book Series: Mark Taylor He-Man and Mark Taylor Man-E-Faces. These figures look to continue celebrating the artistic legacy and raw creativity behind the Masters of the Universe line, drawing directly from the conceptual sketches that shaped Eternia’s earliest heroes and villains. Multi-Bot, revealed and up for preorder, also joins the party, rounding out the assortment with some serious modular mayhem! Between the 200x Cartoon Collection and these new Sketch Book figures, Mattel’s 2026 lineup is shaping up to be an absolute treat for fans who love both the nostalgia and the behind-the-scenes artistry of MOTU.

We can now get a closer more hi-res look at each of these new Sketch Book Series characters. Taking a closer look, you will notice that He-Man is wearing sandals and has bare feet! Plus you can get a better look at Man E Faces face sculpt.

Mark Taylor He-Man & Man E Faces

The figures shown are part of the MOTU Origins Sketch Book Series featuring Mark Taylor’s original concept designs of He-Man and Man-E-Faces.

He-Man

He-Man carries a large double-bladed axe and a red circular shield with black rivets, wearing a brown harness marked with a red cross symbol.

Below we can see the original sketch of He-Man created by Mark Taylor back in 1981, and you will notice the horned helmet, the similar chest armor and the sandals on the feet.

Man-E-Faces

Man-E-Faces sports a highly stylized, angular design with bold pastel stripes running down his torso and legs, a gold head piece framing his rotating faceplate, and comes with a matching gold staff.
