New Eternia Beast Man Coloring is fixed as Mattel corrects production run! Check out Beast Man’s killer orange bod!
We were all super excited a couple weeks ago to get the New Eternia Beast Man. But if any of you are like me, when I opened my package, I was a bit disappointed in that the color of the torso was an off brown color and did not match the rest of his body. Not only that, but the brown wash all over his arms and legs was very heavy, and made it look like Beasty had been rolling around in the mud, probably the same mud puddle that Anniversary He-Man wandered out of…LOL.. Anyways, we tried a home remedy to correct that problem by trying to lighten his torso as we covered in our How to Fix New Eternia Masterverse Beast Man Chest Color article. But still, even though that helped, it wasn’t quite right. We also covered him in an in-depth Hands on Review, where you can see what he looked like.

Well in a surprise move by Mattel, looks like Mattel heard us! I am very happy to say that they must have noticed their factory misstep and made a production correction mid-way thru, because guess what folks, today I found several Beast Man’s sitting on the shelf at my local Target and Mattel has corrected the color of his entire body!

This new production run is seen on the left, and on the right is the previous production run. You can really see the difference as the new Beast Man’s color looks much more orange and even. Where the previous Beast Man has a much heavier wash on his arms and legs, and his torso looks a much browner color and does not match the rest of his body. In a welcome change, Mattel did the right thing here and corrected the issue!

This new production run is seen on the left, and on the right is the previous production run. Again from his back side, you can really see the difference as the new Beast Man’s color looks much more orange and even. The previous Beast Man has a much heavier wash on his arms and legs, especially at the joints. And again because of the heavy texture of his fur on his back, his torso looks much browner and does not match the rest of his body.

Even with Beast Man’s armor on, you can still notice the torso discoloration of the previous production run see on the right. The new production run on the left looks so much better and we can’t be more pleased! Now he looks much more like the Beast Man we all know and love!
