We got our first look at these incredible McDonald’s collectibles from NECA at their SDCC 2026 booth, and we shared all the booth images from the McDonald’s NECA SDCC 2026 display with you earlier. Now the preorders are officially live over at the NECA store, and boy are we thrilled to finally get all the details on pricing and release dates! First up we have two amazing Head Knockers featuring Grimace and the Hamburglar. The Grimace Head Knocker stands over 8 inches tall and features the big purple guy on a Grimace Island base holding his signature Grimace Shake, while the Hamburglar Head Knocker comes in at over 6.5 inches tall, depicting everyone’s favorite burger thief standing on the Hamburger Patch with a plate of hamburgers. Both are cast in resin, hand painted, and feature that super fun spring-loaded bobbling mechanism. Each one is priced at $29.99 and comes in collectible matte packaging with a spot gloss finish. These are going to look so good on a desk or display shelf! Then we have what might be my favorite item in the bunch, the McDonald’s x Ben Cooper Costume Figure Series. This is a bundle of three 6-inch fully poseable action figures featuring Grimace, Hamburglar, and Birdie the Early Bird all dressed up in vintage Ben Cooper costume designs from the 1950s through ’80s era. Each figure comes with a mask, soft goods clothing replicating those classic vinyl looks, and a Boo Bucket accessory. How freakin’ cute is that?! Grimace Head Knocker

Grimace is a resin head knocker standing over 8 inches tall, and the sculpt captures his soft, rounded shape perfectly with a dense fur-like texture covering his entire body. The Grimace Island base is a fun touch, complete with tiny palm trees, a rocky formation, and a little wooden sign, while his signature Grimace Shake with its whipped cream topping and red straw adds an immediately recognizable accessory.

You can see how the fur texture on Grimace has real depth to it, with short, layered strokes carved into the resin that shift between lighter and deeper shades of purple across his body. His face is wonderfully expressive, with those wide glossy eyes, thick arched brows, and a cheerful open mouth showing just a little red tongue peeking out.

Here’s a closer look at the base, which features a sandy, organic shoreline edge that tapers out irregularly, with patches of green grass sculpted onto the surface alongside that miniature palm tree and weathered wooden sign. The shake itself has a nice color gradient from the purple body of the cup up through the creamy white whipped topping, and those stubby purple fingers wrap around it with surprising sculptural detail for a piece at this scale.

From the back, the fur texture wraps all the way around without any visible seam lines, and those layered strokes maintain the same level of detail from head to tail. I noticed that the lavender-colored rocky formation on the base has a melted, oozing quality to its sculpt, almost like a dessert dripping down, which fits the whole island’s playful aesthetic.

From this side profile, you can see how the palm tree’s green fronds have individually sculpted leaves fanning outward, and there’s a tiny yellow sign at its trunk that adds a fun little environmental storytelling detail to the base. The shake’s golden arches emblem on the cup is a small but satisfying touch, and the way Grimace’s rounded belly hangs over those stumpy little legs really sells the character’s proportions.

One thing I noticed right away is how the spring-loaded bobble mechanism at the neck joint is cleverly concealed by the fur sculpt, keeping the transition between head and body almost seamless. The hand-painted resin has a subtle matte finish across Grimace’s body that contrasts nicely with the glossy treatment on his eyes and open mouth, adding just the right amount of visual variety to the piece.

Hamburglar Head Knocker

Hamburglar stands over 6.5 inches tall in his classic black-and-white striped outfit, complete with a wide-brimmed hat trimmed in gold, a black domino mask, and dark red gloves. His oversized red tie is covered in a repeating hamburger print, and he’s carrying a plate piled high with stolen burgers, while the Hamburger Patch base around his feet is loaded with adorable little googly-eyed burger critters nestled among sculpted flowers and grass.

Clad in that crisp black-and-white striped jumpsuit, Hamburglar’s cape has a gorgeous yellow satin-like interior that peeks out as it drapes behind him, adding a pop of color against the monochrome stripes. The Hamburger Patch base is packed with personality, as each little burger critter has its own slightly different expression and positioning among tiny purple, blue, and yellow flowers sculpted into the bright green grass.

Here’s a closer look at Hamburglar’s face sculpt, which really nails that mischievous grin with his two little buck teeth poking out and a rounded, dimpled nose sitting just beneath the black domino mask. The resin cape flows behind him with a smooth, sweeping curve, and you can see how the hat’s wide brim casts a subtle shadow across the upper portion of his face, giving the whole head knocker a playful sense of depth.

From this side profile, you can see how the stripes on Hamburglar’s jumpsuit wrap cleanly around his arms and legs, maintaining consistent spacing even where the sculpt curves at the elbows and knees. The plate of stolen burgers has a nice sculptural heft to it, with each patty and bun individually stacked rather than blended together, and the red sneakers with their white detailing add a charming touch down at the base.

From the back, Hamburglar’s cape has a wonderful weight to its sculpt, with deep vertical folds cascading down from the shoulders and a slightly flared hem that reveals just a flash of his red tie poking out beneath. The green grass base is dotted with additional burger critters tucked around his sneakers, and the bright orange hair beneath his hat has a layered, wavy texture that wraps cleanly around the back of his head.

Something I appreciate here is the gold band on Hamburglar’s hat, which has a smooth, almost lacquered finish that contrasts with the matte texture of the black brim and crown. The red gloves have a slightly puffed, rounded sculpt at the fingertips that gives them a cartoonish softness, and from this angle the rosy pink blush on his cheek is a sweet little detail that sells the youthful, animated look of the character.

I like how the spring-loaded bobble mechanism is hidden beneath that wide-brimmed hat and the layered collar area, keeping the head knocker’s interactive function seamlessly integrated into the sculpt. The tray of burgers has a warm golden-brown tone across each bun that contrasts with the cool black-and-white stripes of his jumpsuit, and those little burger critters scattered across the Hamburger Patch base are peering up with their tiny white eyes in a way that’s genuinely charming.
