McFarlane Toys has revealed three upcoming additions to its DC Multiverse Deluxe Theatrical Edition lineup, bringing together characters from three different live-action Batman productions. The latest releases include Michael Keaton’s Batman from Batman Returns, Colin Farrell’s Penguin from HBO’s The Penguin, and Alicia Silverstone’s Batgirl from Batman & Robin. Each figure takes a different approach to its respective character, from Batman’s unmasked appearance to Batgirl’s distinctive silver mask and an updated version of the Penguin. Batman (Batman Returns), The Penguin (The Penguin), and Batgirl (Batman & Robin) are expected to go up for preorder Monday, October 26, 2026, at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET. The anticipated timing is based on Entertainment Earth’s Drop Zone schedule. As with previous DC Multiverse releases, collectors can expect listings across major retailers, potentially including Amazon, BigBadToyStore, Entertainment Earth, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop. Individual product listings, pricing, and availability have not yet been confirmed. We’ll add direct retailer links when preorders go live.
Batman & Robin Batgirl Deluxe Theatrical Edition
Alicia Silverstone’s Batgirl from the 1997 film Batman & Robin rounds out the three releases. One of the best details is the metallic silver mask, which McFarlane has given some actual depth and dimension through the sculpt. It would have been easy to simply paint the mask onto the face, but the raised edges and contours make it feel like a separate piece of the character’s design. It’s a small detail that makes a noticeable difference in the overall appearance of the head sculpt. The figure also features Barbara Wilson’s long, flowing hair, black armored suit with textured torso panels, segmented arm guards, and a silver belt with a central bat emblem. The promotional pose features Batgirl holding a bat-shaped accessory, while the metallic silver paint applications contrast with the black armor. The combination captures the elaborate superhero designs associated with Joel Schumacher’s Batman films.

Batman Returns Batman Deluxe Theatrical Edition
Michael Keaton’s Batman returns to the DC Multiverse lineup with an unmasked Bruce Wayne head sculpt inspired by the 1992 film Batman Returns. McFarlane really nailed the likeness here, particularly the way Keaton’s face is framed by the raised collar of the Batman armor. The hair sculpt is another standout, capturing his slicked-back hairstyle with plenty of texture and individually sculpted strands. The scratches along his cheek add another layer of detail and help distinguish this release from previous movie-inspired Batman figures. The figure retains the distinctive black armor design associated with Keaton’s second Batman film, including the sculpted abdominal armor, raised chest emblem with its yellow background, and gold utility belt. A fabric cape extends over the shoulders, while Batman holds his cowl in the promotional image. The unmasked head sculpt is the defining feature here, offering collectors another way to display the character alongside previous movie-inspired Batman figures.

The Penguin Deluxe Theatrical Edition
Colin Farrell’s portrayal of Oz Cobb from HBO’s The Penguin joins the Deluxe Theatrical Edition lineup, although this one is more of an updated rerelease than an entirely new figure. McFarlane has reused the original figure with a revised white shirt and additional weapons and interchangeable hands. Because why not? It’s a relatively no-frills release, but the Colin Farrell likeness is good, particularly the receding, slicked-back hairstyle, facial scarring, heavy brow, and pronounced facial features that helped transform the actor into Gotham’s rising crime boss. The long dark overcoat features sculpted folds, lapels, and buttons over the layered suit and tie. For collectors who missed the original release, the additional accessories provide another opportunity to add this version of Penguin to their DC Multiverse collection.
