MOTU Origins Mini Comic Man-E-Faces BACK IN STOCK on Amazon

MOTU Origins Mini Comic Man-E-Faces preorder is available at more online retailers as Amazon’s exclusivity expires

It appears that Amazon’s exclusivity has run out on Mini Comic an-E-Faces as he is becoming available on a wider variety of online retailers. Man-E-Faces first showed up on Amazon, which made this figure the first online retailer exclusive to be offered outside of Mattel Creations! We then discovered Man-E-Faces in the Walmart system back in March 2023 and what we thought might be the placeholder for Mini Comic Man-E-Faces and it turned out the placeholder listing was in fact, Mini Comic Man-E-Faces on Walmart! Today, the plot thickens as Man-E was put up for preorder on BBTS, making this hard to find figure more readily available. Here is where we’ve discovered Man-Faces online:

As of today, BBTS has put up Mini Comic Man-E-Faces up for preorder, which must be music to collector’s ears! Being that this listing was just put up today, it is showing that the figure is estimated to arrive in September 2023.

We are deep into the latest MOTU Mondays Origins releases, with the first Amazon Exclusive MOTU Origins Mini Comic Man E Faces Package & Art reveal from Roy Juarez on Instagram. This new version of Man E Faces looks spectacular, and his card back gets the full MOTU Origins exclusive treatment with a front illustration of Man E Faces and full rear card back artwork! Let’s dive in and take a look.

Package & Art Reveal

Thanks to Roy Juarez and his talented group of artists for bringing us this incredible new artwork for Mini Comic Man E Faces!

T’S PACKAGING TIME! Here’s a closeup look at the packaging and artwork for the upcoming @masters of the Universe Origins Mini Comics Man-E-Faces! The heroic human, the robot, the MONSTER!

The front of the card back features the typical Masters of the Universe logo and red rock burst, but this time, like Mattel Creations exclusives, this one gets the additional illustration of Man E Faces! You can also see the “New for 23” at the top, and “Retro Play” yellow burst as well. There also looks to be an exclusive mini comic in this one as well! The rear of the card back gets a full illustration, like the Mattel Creations exclusives do as well, but this is a first as this is an Amazon exclusive figure!

Here we can see a close up look at the rear illustration. There’s Castle Grayskull in the background, with the Talon Fighter perched on top. Then we have a large illustration of the Keldor 2 pack version of Skeletor with the large yellow bat on his chest armor. Then there is an illustration of Mini Comic Man E Faces in his 3 forms with the robot, monster, and human faces, with what it looks like his robot and monster versions ready to strike He-Man and Teela! Teela seems to be glowing with her staff aglow as well, and lends you to think about perhaps her future Sorceress powers coming to fruition?

Mini Comic Man E Faces looks incredible and I think he blows the first version outta of the water! The new faces on this version is fantastic! He comes with a new mini comic version of each pf his classic faces and they look amazing! Let’s take a look at some of the official images below.

Charlie_5.5 has acquired what appears to be a prototype of a future MOTU Origins Mini Comic Man-E-Faces and posted the photos on his IG page (shown in blue and white)! The MOTU Origins line is producing certain figures in mini comic form so it is not out of the question that they would do something similar for Man-E-Faces. Here is what he had to say:

Interesting find, this First/Test shot figure of Origins Man-E-Faces has different faces from the released version. The sculpts are more detailed and have the faces MEF had early in The Ordeal of Man-E-Faces mini comic, pre Robot face/form. It’s possible this was a discarded idea, or this could be a future release, I hope it’s the latter ??
