MOTU Chronicles and First Ones Toy Fair 2026 Booth Images
The @therockfather comes through yet again with a look inside the Masters of the Universe booth at Toy Fair 2026, and I have to say, seeing this lineup all together really drives home just how big a year this is going to be for Eternia; this preview is centered entirely on MOTU Chronicles along with the premium format pieces, and the scope feels ambitious in the best possible way; leading the charge is He-Man riding atop Battle Cat in the Chronicles style, translating that iconic partnership into a film-inspired presentation that feels larger in scale and presence, while Trap Jaw, Evil-Lyn, Skeletor, and Teela round out the core lineup with designs that pull from the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie; and then you step over to the premium format figures of He-Man and Skeletor and it is clear Mattel is also catering to collectors who want statement pieces that anchor a display shelf; I genuinely love seeing a focused push like this where the Chronicles branding ties everything together, giving fans a cohesive look across standard figures and higher-end offerings, and when you start thinking about what other surprises might be waiting behind the doors of Castle Grayskull this year, it is hard not to feel that electric Toy Fair energy because 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark moment for Masters of the Universe collectors.

Day 2 Coverage
Huge thanks to RobDToys for posting images from the Mattel booth of the MOTU First Ones kids line!
First Ones
He Man stands with his sword lifted, wearing a gray chest harness with a red cross emblem and a brown skirt with sculpted details. His boots and bracers are molded in darker tones.

Battle Cat features bright green fur with bold yellow striping and a red armored helmet with extended cheek guards and small horns. The sculpted fur texture is pronounced across the legs and torso, and the open mouth reveals white fangs beneath the face armor.

Teela is shown with long red hair and a gold textured vest over white pants, holding a translucent blaster in one hand and a sword in the other. Brown straps and red boots break up the lighter colors.

Beast Man has a large red mane framing his face, small horns protruding from the head, and a wide open mouth with visible fangs. The orange fur texture covers his limbs and torso, and he grips a long whip raised overhead.

Skeletor wears a purple hood and cape over blue skin with a detailed chest harness and armored skirt. He holds a staff topped with a ram skull, and the stance shows off the articulation in the shoulders and hips.

The Skel-Knight figure wears layered gray armor with a ribbed chest plate and shoulder pads, paired with a dark tattered skirt. A skull faced helmet and raised sword give the figure a battle ready look while standing on a clear display base.

The card features dramatic cosmic style artwork with swirling fire and light effects that frame the character illustration in the lower corner, blending warm oranges into deep purples for a high contrast backdrop. The sword is packed beside the figure and the layout keeps everything fully visible from the front, with the artwork serving as a backdrop as He-Man and Skeletor face off.

This display shelf at the Mattel booth stacks Masters of the Universe product across three wooden tiers, with Beast Man and the Roton Assault Vehicle boxed up on the top shelf, the large circular Roton clearly visible through the open window packaging. The middle shelf features He Man in window box packaging alongside a large Battle Cat box with bold side artwork showing the green tiger in red armor. On the bottom shelf, Teela, Man At Arms, and another He Man are arranged in their individual window boxes, each showing the figure clearly through the front panel while the illustrated character art wraps along the side panels for that consistent Chronicles and First Ones presentation.

The Roton Assault Vehicle box showcases the massive circular saw blade design front and center with gray outer blades and a bold red inner ring that immediately draws my eye. The open window packaging reveals the teal cockpit body mounted inside the ring along with two included blaster accessories positioned above it. A large handle structure is visible on the left side of the ring, and the purple backdrop art behind the vehicle adds depth with dramatic lighting effects. In the lower right corner of the box, there’s an illustration showing the Roton in action, emphasizing the spinning wheel concept and how a figure can ride inside the circular frame.

Out of the box, the Roton shows off its full circular frame with jagged gray outer blades evenly spaced around the ring and a bold red inner track that runs cleanly along the inside. The teal cockpit body is mounted at the center with mechanical sculpting underneath, giving it that suspended look inside the spinning wheel. On the right side, a thick gray housing connects to a large handle with a red grip insert, and you can clearly see the molded panel lines, rivet details, and layered armor textures across the frame. The open design really lets me take in the scale of the ring and how the cockpit sits perfectly aligned within the circular structure.

He Man is mounted on Battle Cat with the sword raised overhead, showing how the saddle supports a seated rider while keeping the figure centered. The scale between the two feels balanced, and you can clearly see the layered armor pieces, the leg positioning, and the clawed paws planted firmly on the surface.

He Man is seated on Battle Cat with one leg bent forward and the other angled back, gripping his sword raised high over his shoulder. His brown harness with the red cross emblem, silver bracers, and textured skirt armor are clearly visible from this angle, along with the layered sculpting in his hair and focused facial expression. The red saddle and head armor on Battle Cat frame the scene, and you can see how the figure’s hip and knee joints allow him to sit securely in the saddle while maintaining that dynamic, lifted blade pose.

He Man stands beside Battle Cat, and the scale between the two feels substantial, with the feline’s back rising high enough to support a natural seated position without looking oversized. Battle Cat’s head and shoulders sit just below He Man’s chest level when side by side, which gives the mount a powerful presence while still keeping the proportions believable. The width of Battle Cat’s body and the length of the legs add mass beneath He Man, reinforcing that this is a true rideable companion.

With the red helmet and face guard attached, the armored head completely changes the silhouette, adding angular lines and forward sweeping cheek guards. The red saddle and shoulder armor sit snugly over the green body, and the contrast between the bright armor and the striped fur pattern becomes much more pronounced.

The close up on Battle Cat’s unarmored head highlights the detailed sculpting around the eyes and muzzle, with yellow striping layered over the green fur texture and small fangs peeking from the mouth. The paint apps around the nose and eyes are clean, and the surface texture across the cheeks and forehead really stands out at this distance.

The Skeletor window box features a dark cosmic backdrop with the Masters of the Universe Chronicles branding prominently across the top panel. Inside the clear front window, Skeletor stands centered with his blue skin, hooded purple cloak, and armored chest harness visible, while his staff is secured alongside him in the plastic tray. The left side panel showcases a large illustrated portrait of Skeletor with glowing red eyes, and the bottom nameplate clearly labels him as Skeletor, Evil Lord of Destruction, tying the package together.

Day 1: MOTU Chronciles He-Man on Battle Cat
He Man is seated firmly on Battle Cat with his right hand gripping the saddle while the Power Sword is raised high in his left, the silver blade catching the light as it angles upward. The figure features shoulder armor with a red emblem at the chest, a brown harness with metal accents, wrist bracers, and tall boots, while Battle Cat is outfitted in bright red armor with sharp sculpted edges, side guards framing the face, and a strapped saddle secured across the back. Battle Cat’s green body shows his classic textured green fur with orange striping, claws digging into the surface as he steps forward, jaw slightly open to reveal fangs, and I love how the stance makes it look like they are charging straight ahead.

Skeletor
Skeletor stands with his right hand raised and fingers spread while the Havoc Staff is planted firmly in his left, topped with the ram skull detail that curves outward with sharp sculpted horns. The figure features a hooded head with a yellow skull face framed by deep eye sockets, a textured brown cape that drapes down the back, and layered armor at the shoulders and wrists with a fur-like sculpted trim. His light blue skin contrasts against the darker brown loincloth and boots, and I have to say the paint hits on the face really pop under the booth lighting as he stares straight ahead.

This is the Evil Lyn we saw from German Toy Fair, now on display again with her staff topped by a translucent purple orb gripped in one hand while the other arm is raised across her chest. She features a spiked silver headdress, black armored bodice with sculpted detailing, matching gauntlets and boots, and a flowing blue fabric cape that drapes behind her, and I’m really noticing how the metallic finishes and sharp facial paint apps come through under the lights.

Teela
Teela is posed with her rifle angled behind her shoulder while her opposite hand is extended forward, fingers spread as if signaling or preparing to strike. The figure features a red hairstyle pulled back head sculpt, a textured gold scaled top, and layered forearm wraps that add depth to the sculpt. Her lower half combines light gray pants with a gold armored thigh panel, brown belt and strap details, knee padding, and tall red boots, and I really like how the paint apps on the armor pieces bring out the sculpted texture.

Trap Jaw is posed with his mechanical arm extended forward, the claw attachment open and ready, while his other hand is curled back as if preparing to strike. The figure features a bright magenta helmet with a silver center ridge, a green face with exposed teeth framed by the metal jaw plate, and a blue torso crossed with brown harness straps and a silver spiked shoulder guard. His lower half shows layered armor with black and bronze tones, teal thigh panels, sculpted knee mechanisms, and heavy boots, and I really like how the paint on the arm and shoulder catches the light and highlights all that sculpted detail.

Premium Format Figures
Skeletor stands to the left holding the Havoc Staff upright, the ram skull topper curving outward with detailed horns while his other hand is lifted with fingers spread. The figure features a hooded head with a yellow skull face and glowing red eyes, a textured cape flowing down the back, layered armor across the shoulders and waist, and sculpted patterns running through the blue skin and skirt panels. To the right, He Man stands on a rocky base gripping a broad sword pointed downward, wearing a chest harness with a red emblem, a fur-like skirt with layered plates, bracers, and tall boots, and I have to admit seeing both of these premium format pieces side by side really drives home the scale and detailing on display at the booth.
