We have a Masterverse Wave 10 review for your viewing pleasure, which has Clamp Champ, Prince Adam, Horde Skeletor, and New Eternia Webstor
We were lucky to get our hot little hands on the entire Masterverse Wave 10 assortment so we have some in hand images for your viewing pleasure. This Wave was leaked back in February 2023 and officially revealed in March of 2023. Before the official reveal, we had found the entire assortment of figures on the Walmart website, which confirmed the leaks and rumors. This Wave contains three Masters of the Universe Revelation Masterverse figures, which include Clamp Champ, Prince Adam, and Horde Apprentice Skeletor plus a New Eternia Webstor!
Clamp Champ
Clamp Champ comes in the Masterverse window display box with the Revelation branding and he is holding his oversized, ginormous Clamp!

The illustration of Clamp Champ pays homage to his battle with the Skeletor’s Skeleton army where, unfortunate, he met his demise along with Fisto. The side panel art shows him standing proud with oversized Clamp and this art looks like it could be hung in the palace of Eternos!

His armor features a nice metallic light blue paint finish in his classic color scheme of silvers, blues, and reds.

One of the cooler aspects of this design is that his arm fits into the oversized clamp weapon so it looks very form fitting and is a great design idea to differentiate the other versions of Clamp Champ from the Masterverse version.

Prince Adam
Prince Adam comes in the Masterverse window display box with the Revelation branding and you can see how is accessories are displayed as he is holding his birthday cake Power Sword (ok ok…Power Sword channeling the power of Grayskull).

The illustration of Prince Adam as he is channeling the powers of Grayskull is amazing and it pays homage to He-Man’s transformation and the translucent power sword that is packed in the box. The side panel art shows him standing proud with his sword of power that has light shining off of the blade.

Prince Adam is a smaller stature figure that comes with an extra laughing head sculpt and a glittery power sword.

The laughing head is a nice edition and it’s great to get a bonus head sculpt without paying deluxe prices. Earlier versions of the standard figures have come with multiple heads like Evil-Lyn and Andra so it’s great to see Mattel continuing this!

Horde Skeletor
Horde Apprentice Skeletor comes in the Masterverse window display box with the Revelation branding.

The illustration of Horde Apprentice Skeletor shows him standing there looking very stern with a mysterious figure’s silhouette behind him, could that be Horde Prime? The side panel art shows him standing by what it looks like the tree outside the fright zone, as you can kind of make out the cave entrances around him as well.

Horde Apprentice Skeletor comes with an amazing translucent red staff and soft goods that make the figure look spectacular!

This is how Skeletor looks without his cloak and the red Horde symbol definitely pops against the black armor! That symbol has always been on his armor but it really stands out now!

Here is a close up of the Havoc Staff in it’s red translucent plastic, which gives it an effect that the staff is coming alive!

New Eternia Webstor
Webstor is the only figure for this wave where we’ve done an extension review! You can take a peak at the still images here and also catch the video review with a MOTU Classics comparison on YouTube.
Webstor comes in the Masterverse window display box with the New Eternia branding and some incredible artwork!

The illustration of Webstor shows him standing in a shadowy forest scene, covered in webs, and with Castle Grayskull in the background on the back of the box.

Figure Details
This figure is stunning from all angles and from the paint apps to the choice in colors they used on this figure, he surely gives his MOTU Classics counterpart a run for his money, speaking if which, is very expensive on the secondary market. His deep blue skin and the purple tones go amazingly well together so let’s dive in and take a closer look at the details.

Webstor’s head is one of my favorite parts of this figure. The material they used for the eyes look like they are light-piped but they give that eerie appearance all on their own! Webstor has an open mouth design, which suits the figure very well and gives him a more sinister look! The extra set of eyes are made of the same material and the ridges on the head give the appearance of an armored spider.

The chest armor on Webstor is amazing! The texturing on the front and back of the amor provides some depth and dimension to the figure. The black outline in the middle of the armor sets off the black widow’esque appearance and a similar material was used for eyes and the red parts parts in his armor, which make a dazzling effect and bring the armor to life.

The back of the armor and the integrated legs that are a part of his backpack look amazing but the articulation in the legs does not have that great of a range of motion.

In a drastic deviation to previous designs, Webstor has the ability to make his grappling hook fit into a slot on his backpack if open it up so you can display him in his classic style.

The arms are symmetrical and use a standard version of the Masterverse arms borrowed from other figures. His loin cloth also has a very cool wash to it, which reminds of spiderwebs the way they are colored.

The added purple on his shin armor ties in with the other purple color on his chest armor very nicely!

Weapons and Accessories
Webstor comes with his grappling hook, gun, and a couple extra hands.

If you choose to style his gun in the new way that Mattel designed, the pieces separate into three parts and form a very cool grappling hook gun that is different from the previous versions of Webstor. The grappling hook is also articulated so you have many possibilities to display this cool piece.

MOTU Classics Comparison
Comparing the New Eternia Webstor to his MOTU Classics counterpart, there are many similarities and differences. First, the New Eternia version has a much brighter blue and his armor pieces stand out much more than the Classics version. We can see an open mouth version in New Eternia, which gives this figure a leg up compared to the MOTU Classics version.

The guns are different as the New Eternia version looks more like a t-shirt shooter but if you can look past this, the weapon is actually pretty cool looking! If you prefer to holster the grappling hook in the backpack, you can also do that with the New Eternia version if you so desire!
