New He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Netflix Animated Figures Official Images and Preorder

The next wave of MOTU Netflix animated figures are up for preorder on Entertainment Earth: Mer-Man, Hordak, Savage Eternia He-Man, Skeletor & Battle Bones, and He-Man & Stridor
The next wave of Netflix animated He-Man and Masters of the Universe figures have hit Entertainment Earth and are up for preorder! This wave includes Mer-Man, Hordak, Savage Eternia He-Man, Skeletor with Battle Bones, and He-Man and Stridor! this wave features updated packaging and new characters! Last September, we saw the first large scale figure, Mer-Man, go up for preorder on Amazon so it is great to see more images and Netflix animated MOTU preorders!
Savage Eternia He-Man
Not a lot is known about Savage Eternia He-Man but Mattel is getting mileage out of the He-Man buck.
The packaging features the new Savage Eternia branding that has a more organic look to it with brown rock bursts emanating from the name badge. He comes with his trusty power sword and a green animal that looks more like a rat than a cat. Not knowing anything about the figure, I hope this is not baby Cringer as he is looking pretty cringy right now but who else could it be?
He-Man features very large, brown/tan, shoulder armor and he has the same color sleeves to differentiate him from previous versions of He-Man.
Hordak
Hordak was shown the display case at SDCC 2022 and it is great to see him going up for preorder!
His packaging features the same organic themed Savage Eternia packaging and he comes light on the accessories! The large bat functions more like wings that attach to his back.
The bat wings, which is Hordak’s signature Horde symbol, are made of a translucent light blue plastic and he features a Filmation style color palette to his figure! One interesting thing to note is that his white arms bleed into a flesh color as it gets down to his forearms and wrists, which we have not seen on a Hordak figure before.
Mer-Man
Making his debut in the third season of the Netflix Animated He-Man series, Mer-Man was a force to be reckoned with! He also went up for preorder today!
Mer-Man’s card features the Savage Eternia branding and this is the most unique looking style for a Mer-Man figure. He comes with a squid that attaches to his arm.
The squid is cast in a translucent green plastic and it looks more like a blast or energy effect that fits right over his wrist. The photos just show this attaching to his right arm but it could very well fit on his left!
Mer-Man features the most underwater, sea dwelling figure sculpt that plays into ruler of underworld persona. His face is highly detailed and sculpted to look more like a sea creature with his large gills that flare out of the side of his face.
Mattel brings us another new vehicle and figure set with He-Man and The Masters of the Universe He-Man and Stridor Action Figure and Vehicle set. This set includes a new version of the standard 5.5″ He Man figure and a new interpretation of Stridor based on the Netflix animated series. Right now, all we have is the one image for the product and is set to be released in January 2023.
Official Images
We finally got official images of He Man and the Masters of the Universe and Stridor! Now we can see the fine details of this new figure and vehicle set. Here you can see the double barrel gold colored lasers attached to either side of Stridor. You can also see the details on his sculpt which blends horse and machine. Unlike the vintage Stridor, this version is a winged horse, which is a totally new look for him!
As you can see, this version of He-Man is slightly different as he has sleeved arms in a dark blue color with additional shoulder details and large silver gauntlets. He is also wearing a different style longer pointy shaped red loin cloth design.
Stridor has a whole new look as well than what we are used to. He is still a mechanical horse as before, but much more stylized, and in a grey color with gold colored armor accents. It also looks like he has winged this time around, which is totally new for Stridor. It’s hard to tell if the legs are articulated or not, but at this price point, the odds are they are not articulated, and He Man just rides on him.

Skeletor and Battle Bones
There is not much information about this so we can just surmise from the official image that Battle Bones looks nothing like it’s vintage style predecessor and looks more like a Stegosaurus with black armor. Skeletor is all decked out in a slime green motif with translucent hands and a slime green havoc staff. For how colorful and imaginary this line has been, this is one of the more disappointing sets in the line as an adult collector but who are we kidding…this line is made for kids and we are sure they will love it! Besides, who doesn’t like dinosaurs?
