Sewer Lair Playset Classic
Below we can see the production sample of the new Reissue Sewer Lair Playset on display at what looks like some trade show, and it is connected to the Reissue Technodrome!

We can see the Sewer Lair clos up and it looks incredible! It recreates all the play areas of the vintage including the telephone poles on the street level, the fire hydrant telescope, the pipes and underground lair and all! This is going to be a incredible playset!

Playmates revealed yet another incredible reissue playset with the Original Sewer Lair playset! If you remember, they recently released preorders for their Amazon Exclusive Technodrome Playset, released back on September 16, 2024. That Technodrome had a pipe on it that connects to none other than the Sewer Lair Playset! If you want to purchase the Technodrome, you can order it HERE.

The Vintage Sewer Lair Playset
The Playmates 1989 Sewer Lair Playset was a popular toy released as part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline. The playset was designed to mimic the look of the Turtles’ underground hideout in the sewers of New York City.
The playset featured multiple levels for the Turtles to play and hang out, including a street-level entrance and a sewer pipe slide for quick escapes. It also included features like a trap door, a working periscope, a zip line, and a spinning turntable.

The playset was designed to work with the action figures from the TMNT toyline, allowing kids to recreate scenes from the animated TV show and comic books. The playset was a popular item among fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and is now a highly sought-after collectible for both toy collectors and lovers of the TMNT franchise.

The Whole Shebang used the vintage box as a stand in for now until official images have been revealed but we are assuming that the box for the Sewer Lair will be a more vibrant recreation of the vintage box design and we can’t wait to see more official images of this killer playset that will hook up to the Techno Drome!

If you live in the UK or where The Whole Shebangs ships to, you can preorder the Sewer Lair below!
Mutant Module Classic
Next we get to see the final production sample of the Classic Reissue Mutant Module on display. The Mutant Module was a three-wheeled, amphibious vehicle that resembled a futuristic motorcycle that could transform into a hovercraft. It looks glorious and we can’t wait to get our hands on this one!

We also got a full view of the packaging. We want to thank one of our viewers Bethany for sending us this full image. You can see the incredible box art on this packaging!

Mutant Module Preorder
The Whole Shebang did not have an official box image for the mutant module but we are guessing that the box will be a vibrant recreation of the vintage box design and we can’t wait to see more official images of this classic vehicle!

If you live in the UK or where The Whole Shebangs ships to, you can preorder the Mutant Module below!
Mutant Module Classic 2024 SDCC Reveal
Not only did they reveal the Sewer Lair Playset, they also revealed a vehicle as well. It was a Mutant Module! It looks amazing, just like the vintage vehicle! It’s amazing that Playmates is going down this route! The Mutant Module has the yellow translucent canopy, and driller front end, plus all those cool details all over!

The Vintage Mutant Module
The 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Module was a toy vehicle released as part of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline by Playmates Toys. The Mutant Module was a three-wheeled, amphibious vehicle that resembled a futuristic motorcycle that could transform into a hovercraft. The Mutant Module featured a cockpit for one of the Turtles to sit in, as well as various weapons and gadgets that could be attached to the vehicle.

The toy also came with a detachable sidecar that could be used for additional Turtle figures to ride in. The Mutant Module was a popular toy among fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise due to its unique design and features. It was released in conjunction with the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, which helped to increase its popularity even further.

TMNT Classic Remastered Target Exclusive 6 Pack
It looks like we are going to be getting a new Target Exclusive 6 pack of the Classic Remastered Turtles. This set includes the 4 Turtle Heroes in a Half Shell, Master Splinter and Shedder. When the first wave of Classic Remastered Turtles was released, fans were a little iffy on the textured look of our 4 Turtle heroes. After studying the photo below closely, it looks like we are going to be getting new Turtles without the textured finish which is great news!

Here we can see a single image of Master Splinter. We can’t tell if this is part of a single release for Splinter because his coloring looks a bit different than the image of the 6 pack above. This one has a more orange gi and yellow accessories.

Classics Reissue Military Wave
Finally a wave of TMNT Classic Line figures of the military wave. This wave includes Lieutenant-Leo, Raph Green Teen Beret, Delta Team Don, Navy Seal Mike. Below we can see the incredible carded images of Raph Green Teen Beret and Lieutenant Leo.

Here we get carded images of Delta Team Don and Navy Seal Mike.

Vintage Military Wave
These figures were originally released in 1991 and 1992 as part of the later waves of TMNT figures. You can see the cardbacks were unique to these figures in their “Mutant Military” line.
Images of the Delta Team Don, and Navy Seal Mike that were released in 1992 are below. Hopefully they recreate these cool card backs!
