The WWE Superstars line is about to deliver something truly special for wrestling fans, as the “Evolution of The Rock” Mattel Creations Exclusive 2-Pack is set to drop soon. First revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2025, this collector’s piece takes us through the journey of Dwayne Johnson’s wrestling career by pairing Rocky Maivia with his final persona, The Rock Final Boss. We got a chance to see both in-package and out-of-package images of this exclusive, giving collectors a great look at what to expect when this set ships. This set pays homage to the legacy and transformation of The Rock while celebrating Johnson’s arc in the squared circle. September 12, 2025 Update: Official Images and Mattel Creations Preorder

The anticipation around the Mattel Creations WWE Superstars “Evolution of The Rock” 2-Pack just got a huge boost as the preorder date has now been officially set for September 17, 2025 at 9:00 am PT! Fans won’t have to wait much longer to lock in this incredible set that captures both Rocky Maivia and The Rock Final Boss in one collector-focused release, first revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2025.

To add even more excitement, Mattel has dropped the official images showcasing both the in-package and out-of-package looks, giving collectors the clearest view yet of the presentation and figure details.

The 2-pack includes Rocky Maivia in his bright blue trunks with white boots and blue wristbands, complete with his trademark blue and white entrance gear with hanging streamers, swappable hands, and the classic Intercontinental Championship. Alongside him is The Rock in black trunks with his name across the front, detailed tattoos on his arms and chest, and black boots. His accessories include sunglasses, a flashy entrance shirt with bold designs, white pants, multiple sets of hands, and the gold People’s Champion belt.

Rocky Maivia is shown in his debut-inspired look, wearing the patterned collar with hanging blue streamers draped across his chest, giving him that flashy entrance style. In the other shot, he’s got the Intercontinental Championship slung over his shoulder, pointing toward the gold with a big grin, really highlighting his rise as a young champion.

One shot shows The Rock geared up in his flashy entrance attire with white pants, a patterned vest, and yellow sunglasses, giving him that unmistakable late-90s swagger. The other image highlights him with the oversized People’s Champion belt draped proudly over his shoulder, standing in black trunks with his detailed tattoo work on full display.

The figures are posed together with their championship titles, The Rock sporting his shades and People’s Champion belt while Rocky Maivia shows off the Intercontinental gold. In the ring setup, both raise their arms high to the crowd, The Rock in his entrance gear and Rocky Maivia in his classic blue trunks, capturing their iconic energy side by side.

Packaging Details

The Rocky Maivia and The Rock Final Boss WWE Superstars 2-Pack comes in collector-friendly packaging that lets you slide the entire card back out without damaging it, making it easy to remove and display the figures or return them to their tray. This design really gives collectors flexibility whether you want to keep the figures mint inside the package or take them out for display, the packaging makes both options possible without any hassle.

Figure Details

My Damn Toys grabbed some great entrance shots with Rocky Maivia sporting his blue tassels, island-inspired gear, and Intercontinental title, while The Rock Final Boss comes out in white pants, a flashy shirt, and yellow shades with the People’s Championship slung over his shoulder.

Mattel really nailed the likeness of Rocky Maivia with a smiling head sculpt that captures his early babyface look, complete with his signature hairstyle. His ring attire pops in bright blue with white and turquoise tribal-inspired patterns running across the waistband, giving it that authentic late 90s vibe. The figure is also wrapped with matching blue elbow and wrist bands that tie the whole look together perfectly.

The tribal-inspired patterns carry through the look, running down onto his blue kneepads and even appearing on the back of his elbow pads, tying all the ring gear together with consistent detailing.

The Rock Final Boss comes through with his signature look, complete with the raised right brow capturing that iconic People’s Eyebrow expression. The figure is loaded with incredible tattoo detailing, from the intricate tribal designs sprawling across his chest and shoulder to the fine work running down his arm, really bringing his larger-than-life persona to life in figure form.

Rocky Maivia comes packed with the classic Intercontinental Championship, featuring the traditional black strap and gold plating with the blue globe centerpiece, while The Rock Final Boss includes his custom People’s Champion belt, highlighted by the bold Brahma Bull design with red eyes across the gold plate.

The Intercontinental Championship belt looks great strapped around his waist, perfectly complementing the bright blue entrance gear, and the overall figure does an excellent job of capturing Rocky Maivia’s likeness with his signature smiling expression and detailed attire.

The People’s Champion belt fits perfectly draped over his shoulder, adding to the charisma of the figure, and the overall look nails The Rock Final Boss with his flashy shirt, bright yellow shades, and signature confidence captured in the sculpt.
