Skel-Knight MOTU Core Masters of the Universe Movie Official Images
Here are the official images of Skel-Knight from the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie, giving collectors their clearest look yet at how this figure is shaping up in the MOTU Core line. For those of us who got to see the figure live and in person during our Toy Fair 2026 booth tour, these official shots looks fantastic and translates the movie design into the Core format really well. This figure rounds out what’s becoming a solid wave 2 alongside Skeletor and Mekaneck, and I love how each figure in this wave pulls from a different corner of the property, blending the new cinematic aesthetic with the kind of classic MOTU energy that keeps collectors coming back. Going from seeing early glimpses behind glass at Toy Fair to now having polished official images in hand feels like exactly the kind of journey that makes following this hobby so rewarding, because you get to watch the puzzle pieces come together in real time. The movie-inspired designs have been interesting to track as Mattel figures out how to balance the new look with what longtime fans expect from a Masters of the Universe figure on the shelf, and Skel-Knight seems to hit the sweet spot between fresh and familiar. I’m really into how the armor detailing and overall silhouette read on this one, and it’s the kind of figure that makes you want to see even more of the movie roster get the Core treatment. With wave 2 shaping up this nicely between Skel-Knight, Skeletor, and Mekaneck, it’s going to be exciting to see what Mattel pulls back the curtain on next for this line as we get closer to the film’s release.

The card art features a cosmic purple and orange backdrop with He-Man and Skeletor flanking opposite sides, framing the blister window. A small illustrated vignette of Skel-Knight in action appears near the bottom of the card, showing him in his full armor with sword in hand.

Clad in grey armor with pale, vein-like tendrils running across the chest plate, Skel-Knight carries a bronze-colored sword with ornate detailing along the blade. The tattered black skirt has a great sculpted texture, with each strip looking frayed and worn at the edges.

The sculpt on Skel-Knight’s helmet shows a skull-like face underneath, with sunken dark eye sockets and a skeletal jaw that blends into the pointed grey hood. I like how the gold and greenish accents on the armor’s midsection contrast against the muted grey, adding some depth to the overall color palette.

Armed with his bronze sword held across the torso, the figure’s black gauntlets and segmented grey arm armor have a nice contrast between the two materials. The sculpted wrinkles and tears on the lower skirt really sell the weathered, undead knight look, with the frayed ends almost touching the grey boots beneath.

The back of the armor features a sculpted emblem with a beast-like face etched into the upper torso plate, finished in a pale yellowish tone that stands out against the grey. The lower skirt wraps fully around the figure with consistent frayed detailing all the way to the back, and the boots underneath have a subtle sculpted texture.
