Fresh in from @thefullforcepodcast, who came through with some great in-hand shots of the Snake Eyes Panic at the North Pole Skybound Comic GI Joe Super7 ReAction+ figure. We’ve been tracking this one since it was first announced, covering it when we got word it was coming soon and again when it went up for order, so it’s great to finally see it out in the wild through a collector’s lens. This is a fun piece that pulls Snake Eyes into the Panic at the North Pole Skybound comic storyline, and Super7 translated it into the ReAction+ format very well. The deco on this one leans into the comic aesthetic with bold color choices that give it a different energy than your typical Snake Eyes release, which is saying something for a character who’s usually defined by all-black everything. The sculpt carries that classic ReAction+ simplicity while still capturing enough detail to make it feel like a proper representation of the source material. It’s one of those figures that works as both a GI Joe collectible and a cool novelty piece for Skybound fans. Scroll down and check out the images to see how this one looks up close.

The card art pulls directly from a Skybound comic cover, with Joe team members trudging through an arctic scene as an explosion erupts behind them. You can see Snake Eyes carded below the artwork alongside his rifle, with the whole package framed in a clean black border that lets the illustrated panel shine through.

You can see the blue arctic suit up close through the blister, with orange gloves and boots breaking up the uniform’s cold-weather color scheme. The bola and rifle are packed alongside him, and @thefullforcepodcast’s tight framing on the bubble gives you a clear look at the white goggles and belt buckle sculpt.

The spine of the box features a stamp-style illustration of Snake Eyes flanked by skull motifs, dated “02 FEB” in the corner. Red, white, and blue stripes run the length of the spine below the G.I. Joe logo, tying the whole package design back to the classic military aesthetic.

The card back dedicates a full panel to the “Panic at the North Pole” storyline from August 1982, complete with a synopsis of the frigid mission and the mysterious mercenary Kwinn. A file card section at the bottom lays out Snake Eyes’ commando dossier, with his specialties and a quote about his holistic meditation habits tucked alongside a clip-and-save proof of purchase, which hits all of the nostalgia buttons!

You get a full head-to-toe look at Snake Eyes out of the packaging, and the blue parka with its sculpted skulls on the necklace and layered collar is a striking departure from his usual all-black look. The tan/orange boots and gloves pop against the olive pants, and the rifle has a chunky, detailed sculpt that fits the retro proportions perfectly.

@thefullforcepodcast framed this one to really show off how the belt cinches the parka at the waist, creating a nice break between the tunic and the bulkier leg armor panels below. The goggles sit flush against the balaclava with a clean separation between the two sculpted elements.
