Thanks to BumoTV on Instagram, we now have in hand images of the untouchable master of evil of combat, Spikor from the MOTU Origins Sketch Book Series! This is yet another figure in the continuing line of Sketchbook Series MOTU Origins figures. Collectors may recall that whispers of Spikor joining the line surfaced back in February 2025, and it’s great to finally see him realized in plastic. You can preorder Spikor now on Target’s website now. So let’s check out the Spikor MOTU Origins Sketch Book Series In Hand Images!

You can watch BumoTv’s video below, you may need to translate it but you can see the cool figure!
Here we can see Sketchbook Series Spikor’s packaging with all the cool black and white sketches and additional illustrations on the box. A big beautiful window display showcases Spikor within! The rear of the package reveals an illustration of what looks like an early version of He-Man battling with Spikor and what looks like an early version of Beast Man in his red bear like look in the background. You can also see what looks like an early version of Castle Grayskull in the background.

The figure features a radically different look from his vintage counterpart, with a beast-like orange body, exaggerated spiked armor, and a long, curved tail that wraps around his leg. His head sculpt includes a prominent snout, tusks, and a single earring, giving him a more feral, reptilian appearance. Spikor comes equipped with a large, spiked mace and a trident attachment that plugs into his left gauntlet. The sharp detailing and vibrant color palette reflect the raw energy of the early concept art, offering collectors a bold reinterpretation of the classic Evil Warrior.

Taking a closer look at Spikor, you can see the incredible paint apps on his spikes as they have a gradient look to them. Plus you can see his trident hand!

Spikor
The character that would eventually be known as Spikor originated from a simple concept by Roger Sweet: an action figure that combined features of a humanoid and a porcupine, making it one of the more unusual creatures on Earth. In this early sketch, Spikor’s porcupine traits are more apparent. Not only does he have a more natural animal color scheme, but he also features a distinct snout and tail. While the trident arm seems to have been part of the design from the start, the mace appears less threatening than in the final version. Sweet had initially intended for the character to be named Spike, but marketing opted for a name that was more fitting for the world of Eternia.
