The Heroic Warrior Goddess is coming our way because thanks to veebstoys, we get to enjoy these incredible Teela Masters of the Universe Vintage Collection in hand images! With the previous version of Teela being a bit of a let down, this new Masterverse Vintage Collection makes up for that with a classic Teela with her vintage inspired snake armor, snake staff and shield. With MOTU Classics vibes but a more simplistic vintage charm and better articulation, these new Vintage Collection have been my favorite versions of the classic MOTU characters thus far. Packaging Design

The layout balances illustrated action up top with clean, clearly framed figure callouts below, and the overall composition echoes the visual storytelling style long associated with Errol McCarthy’s work without trying to reinvent it. I like how it feels confident and familiar, using bold colors and straightforward character moments to set the tone, almost like it is reminding you what shelf presence looked like when MOTU first locked in its identity.

The back of the box immediately gives me that classic Masters of the Universe energy, leaning hard into a vintage presentation that feels pulled straight from the early days of the line. The artwork shows Teela mid-stride, leaning forward with her staff extended as she closes the distance, her white outfit, gold bracers, and tall boots rendered with clean lines and confident proportions. Her hair flows back under the snake headdress as the staff curves toward two approaching foes, with Beast Man getting ready for attack and Skeletor bracing himself in the distance, both clearly reacting to her advance. I like how her pose feels purposeful and controlled, using forward motion and body angle to sell the moment without clutter, keeping the focus squarely on her movement and the reach of that staff.

Here is the original artwork and this illustration offers another example of McCarthy’s distinctive approach to landscape design. In this scene, Teela discreetly observes Skeletor and Beast Man, contemplating their nefarious activities from a concealed vantage point. The copse of trees in the background is particularly notable for its thoughtful design, blending stylized natural elements with the overarching tension of the moment. McCarthy’s clever arrangement of these trees adds depth and atmosphere to the composition, while subtly framing the narrative conflict between the characters.

Figure Design

It looks like the third time is the charm because this is finally, the Teela was have been waiting for! He face sculpy looks great and she is dressed in her vintage inspired white and gold trimmed outfit. She comes with her classic head with her hair up and her tiara, an additional alternate head where you can place her head snake armor over, her snake staff and her shield.

She comes with her classic head with her hair up and her tiara, an additional alternate head where you can place her head snake armor over, You can see she has slightly different expressions on her face, where one is more serious, the other has a little more of a smirk on her face.

Close ups of her accessories reveal all the incredible detail in her staff and shield, but yet keeping their vintage inspired looks.

Here we can see the New Eternia version of Teela and the Vintage Collection Teela side by side. In my opinion, the head sculpt on this new Vintage Collection Teela is a a huge improvement over the previous New Eternia version.
