Teela & Zoar MOTU Origins 2-Pack Exclusive Preorder

The new Teela & Zoar Origins 2 pack Exclusive is up for pre-order on the Big Bad Toys Store and Entertainment Earth websites! Let’s take a closer look at the new Origins 2 pack!

Revealed yesterday by Mattel, the new Teela & Zoar Origins 2 pack is up for pre-order on the BBTS website! As we previously mentioned, our Toy Habits source confirmed several weeks ago that a Zoar & Teela Two Pack Exclusive was in the works for the Masters of the Universe Origins line. This 2-pack was reported to be a Big Bad Toy Store and Entertainment Earth exclusive and now it looks like BBTS & EE both have it posted it for preorder!

Teela & Zoar 2 Pack

This version of Teela looks to have an all-new knee design, brand new face sculpt, new gold-colored accents and new boot color scheme. This Teela is more than just a repaint, it looks like Mattel has upgraded her quite a bit. Teela also comes with all new accessories; a new gold sword, gold staff, and shield. We also get an exciting new addition to the Origins line, our first bird! This brightly colored orange and blue Origins version of Zoar harkens back to the vintage complete with battle armor and perch!

Teela appears early in an animated Masters of the Universe commercial, by Filmation Studios. The full video has been uploaded by James Eatock on Instagram and Facebook. Teela, released in the later half of 1982, was the first female figure in the Masters of the Universe line, and probably the best. Another Mark Taylor design, Teela was conceived as a powerful heroic warrior armed with a shield and spear. Teela originally had brown boots with white tops, a golden spear and shield, and blonde hair, as depicted in the first MOTU mini comic, He-Man and the Power Sword.
