TMNT GI Joe Crossover & Classics Toy Fair 2026 Playmates Booth Tour

I have to tell you, getting an up close tour of the Playmates booth at Toy Fair 2026 was one of those full circle collector moments for me, because seeing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collide with G.I. Joe in person is something I never thought I would witness at this level. Before today, we had covered other creator’s images in this Booth Images article but there is nothing like getting a tour from a Playmates rep and taking your own photos! The new TMNT x G.I. Joe crossover line was on full display and photos honestly do not do these justice. The creativity on these mashups is off the charts, blending signature elements from both brands into figures that feel thoughtfully designed from head to toe. Snake Eyes x Leo, Roadblock x Raphael, Dial-Tone x Donnie, and Shipwreck x Mikey each fuse the military aesthetic of the Joes with the unmistakable Turtle silhouettes, while April O’Neil x Scarlett brings together two of the most iconic heroines from 80s pop culture. On the villain side, Destro x Krang and Cobra Commander x Shredder look like they were destined to share shelf space, and then seeing Ripper x Bebop, Buzzer x Rocksteady, and Storm Shadow x Slash in the same lineup just takes it to another level. And that was not all. Playmates also had four TMNT Classic figures on display including Scale Tail, Antrax, Wyrm, and Usagi Yojimbo, giving longtime Turtle fans something to celebrate alongside the crossover excitement. As someone who grew up in the 1980s toy aisles, I could feel that old school energy all over this display, and I cannot wait to break each of these down in more detail so let’s dive in!

TMNT Classics

Scale Tail comes packed on a brick wall card with bold illustrated art of the character and Raphael up top, and inside the blister the green and yellow reptilian body features a wide open jaw, coiled snake arm, purple harness, and blue waist detail. Bright red weapons fill the accessory tray including multiple blasters and gear, giving that classic over the top vintage loadout feel.

Antrax is showcased with a black and purple body, red web detailing, and a sculpted insect style torso with layered armor textures. The blister is stacked with red accessories including an axe and flail, and I love how the vibrant purple pants and red chest strap pop against the darker body.

Wyrm jumps out immediately with that wild blue face, bulging white eyes, purple hair tuft, and oversized grin packed with teeth. The neon green torso, spotted yellow tie, and red accessories on the side really lean into that exaggerated mutant look that just screams early 90s TMNT.

Usagi Yojimbo is presented with a white rabbit head sculpt, blue textured tunic, purple pants, and yellow trim accents on the legs. The accessory rack is molded in brown with multiple weapons included, and the figure’s upright ears and focused expression give it that classic samurai stance right in the bubble.

TMNT GI Joe Crossover Figures

The diorama sets up a full battlefield scene with a green GI Joe jeep parked on the left, a Turtle themed tank behind it, and multiple crossover figures spread across the terrain with swords, rifles, and melee weapons in hand. A small stone bridge crosses over a blue stream at center as characters square off on both sides, with logs, sandbags, cinder blocks, and scattered gear filling out the ground to create a layered combat display that pulls all the vehicles and figures into one cohesive clash.

Snake Eyes Leo blends the sleek black ninja suit with Leonardo’s green skin and blue bandana, featuring a diagonal blue strap with sculpted throwing stars across the chest and a utility belt at the waist. He’s armed with a black and neon green rifle while a sheathed blade sits on his back, and the armored wolf companion stands at his side with textured fur and an open snarling mouth.

His wolf companion is shown in profile with detailed fur sculpting along the legs and tail, red eyes, and a harness molded over the torso with a handle on top. Its front paws press against a concrete block, jaws open to reveal sharp teeth and a painted tongue, adding to the attack stance. We were told that he would have a gray color scheme when the colors were finalized.

From the side angle, the blue headband wraps around the helmeted turtle head with a circular side detail, and the white eye paint contrasts against the darker face. The forearm armor, knee pads, and booted feet are clearly defined, and the rifle’s translucent green section stands out against the matte black body armor.

From the front angle, the oversized rotary style weapon features twin green barrels that actually feed the amo, a side crank handle, tripod legs, and a red ammo feed belt draped into the housing. The chest shows a camo pattern across the plastron with grenade details on the harness, and a sai lies on the ground nearby, tying Raphael’s signature weapon into the heavy artillery setup.

Roadblock Raph is shown from the back with a bright green shell framed by black harness straps and a brown belt wrapping around the waist, while the red bandana tails flow off the side of the head. Brown pants with red knee pads and black boots ground the look.

Dial Tone Donnie features a purple mask with a black helmet and headset detail, wearing a green tactical vest over a lighter torso with a purple sash at the waist. He grips a long black rifle with sculpted ridges along the barrel, and a large communications pack sits on his back with antenna and molded speaker panels.

From the rear view, the oversized radio backpack dominates the silhouette with layered panel lines, dials, and an extended antenna rising above the helmet. The straps wrap tightly across the shell, and additional pouches and gear are sculpted along the belt and thigh, emphasizing the communications specialist loadout.

From the side angle, Shipwreck Mickey shows off the orange mask and painted eyes, while a naval style patch is printed on the upper sleeve. His black gloves grip the steering bar beneath the yellow roll cage, and the deck area around him is packed with sculpted gauges, levers, and red button details.

April Scarlett really leans into her Scarlett look with the bright yellow bodysuit, dark green sleeves, red shoulder pads, and long red hair sculpted in thick flowing strands around her face. The painted eyes and sharp brow line give her a focused expression, and the fitted gloves and clean panel lines on the suit emphasize that classic military inspired design translated into the TMNT style.

Shredder Cobra Commander merges the classic blue Cobra tunic and red cape with Shredder’s silver bladed armor, featuring a metallic helmet with a raised crest and faceplate. The forearm guards, spiked shoulder armor, and clawed shin guards bring in the Shredder edge, while the Cobra emblem on the chest and the twin swords in hand lock in that crossover identity.

From the front, the white ninja hood frames a snarling Slash face with yellow eyes and a wide toothy grin, and the Cobra emblem is stamped on the chest. He grips a spiked mace in one hand and a black blade in the other, with the purple belt buckle marked backwards S anchoring the waist.

From the rear, Slash Storm Shadow shows off a dark green shell lined with bright yellow spikes running down the center and along the tail. A black harness secures twin swords on the back alongside additional gear, while the gray and blue limbs and magenta wristbands add sharp contrast to the armored look.

From the front, the Rocksteady face features a raised brow, large horn, and a snarling mouth with painted teeth, giving him a tough expression. He grips a circular saw blade weapon in one hand and a long chainsaw style blade in the other, while black wristbands with studs and the studded strap across the chest reinforce the Dreadnok inspired look.

From the back, Rocksteady Buzzer shows off a bright yellow vest stretched over a bulky gray torso with a green strap lined in gold studs running diagonally across it. The light blue pants feature sculpted pocket flaps and knee pads, brown boots anchor the stance, and the brown cap with small horn details sits low over the rhino head sculpt.

Ripper x Bebop features a teal vest over a tan torso with a red Cobra emblem on the chest, blue pants, and brown boots, along with a purple mohawk and beard paired with red goggles. He grips a large silver drill weapon with layered mechanical sculpting, and his forearms are wrapped with spiked wristbands that match the aggressive detailing throughout the figure.

From the rear, the olive green turtle shell shoulder pad is studded with silver spikes, and a long sword is sheathed across his back in a black harness. The layered straps, belt details, and the sculpted texture on the vest and pants add depth to the crossover design.

From a wider angle, you can see the full shot of Destro KRang with red boots, black legs, and silver gauntlets capped with a spiked mace attachment. The layered armor plating across the torso and the metallic finish on the mask really sell that Destro influence while Krang remains clearly visible in the abdominal cockpit.

Destro Krang blends Destro’s chrome mask and black suit with bulky silver shoulder armor and a bold red collar piece that frames the upper torso. The mechanical midsection opens to reveal Krang seated inside the body cavity, and I love how the pink sculpt with tiny arms and a snarling expression is fully integrated into the armored chest.

From the rear, Destro Krang shows off layered silver shoulder armor with etched panel lines and a vented back plate mounted over the black torso. The thick red collar wraps high around the neck, a wide silver belt locks in at the waist, and the red boots and black legs keep that classic Destro color blocking tight even from behind.

TMNT GI Joe Crossover Vehicles

The box front features bold, high-contrast artwork of the green Turtle-Fly Copter blasting forward against a bright yellow burst background. The helicopter is illustrated with spinning katana-style rotor blades, red missile effects, and cockpit art showing the Turtle pilot alongside a Joe ally. Callouts highlight “Over 20” Long!” and “Missile-Firing Action!” while the product name, Turtle-Fly Copter with Spinning Katana Blades, is printed along the lower edge over a black strip. The left side showcases feature photography with inset images demonstrating play functions. One image shows the cockpit opening with space for two figures, and another highlights the working rappel line in action, complete with a hand demonstrating the feature.
