Trubble Bubble and Python Version GI Joe ReAction+ SDCC 2026 Exclusives Tease
Super7 just dropped a not so cryptic tease on Instagram with the caption “Double trouble ahead… #comingsoon #BigBadToyStore #SDCC,” and it didn’t take long to piece together what we’re looking at here. Two new GI Joe ReAction+ exclusives are headed to SDCC 2026, and they’ll be available through Big Bad Toy Store as well, which is great news for collectors who won’t be on the ground in San Diego. The first is the Trubble Bubble, one of my all-time favorite Cobra vehicles and a design that just screams classic GI Joe villainy with that exposed cockpit and underslung cannon, and seeing it get the ReAction+ treatment has me genuinely fired up because it’s exactly the kind of deep cut that makes this line so rewarding to follow. The second is a Python version GI Joe figure, which ties into that sleek black and gold Python Patrol aesthetic that Cobra used when they wanted their troops to look especially radar-invisible, and it’s a subset of the brand that doesn’t get nearly enough love in the modern collectible space. Super7 hasn’t revealed full details or official product images yet, so we’re working with the tease for now, but the fact that they could be pairing a vehicle with a figure as a double release for the con is a smart move and should make for a compelling exclusive package. I can’t wait to see how the Trubble Bubble looks in hand at this scale, and the Python deco is one of those things that almost always hits the sweet spot when it’s applied well. More details should be surfacing soon, so we’ll be keeping our eyes locked on this one as SDCC 2026 draws closer.
Trubble Bubble Teases
The artwork features a Python Patrol Cobra pilot seated inside the Trubble Bubble, a compact flight pod with a clear canopy dome, gold-trimmed weaponry, and the Cobra sigil on the bubble’s surface. The pod’s body is covered in black and red crosshatch patterning with a “Python Patrol” insignia on the side, flanked by thruster rockets and forward-mounted cannons, all set against a green snakeskin-textured background.
The artwork shifts to a classic Cobra pilot in dark blue uniform and black boots, riding the Trubble Bubble against an explosive red and orange starburst. The pod here features a silver and yellow color scheme with the Cobra insignia on the canopy, twin rear thrusters firing, and a pair of forward-mounted missiles on the underside.
