Just a couple of days after we got our first look at Wave 3 during WWE World 2026 at WrestleMania 42, two of the new LJN WWE Superstars figures have already surfaced for preorder at Target, and I’m fired up to see this line moving so quickly from reveal to retail. Huge thanks to Toy Habits Crew member Frankie Rivera for the heads up on these going live. The two figures available right now are Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Jelly Roll, both standing at 8 inches tall with that signature muscly, compact LJN build and rubbery feel that takes you straight back to the 1980s. Jake “The Snake” is one of those picks that just feels right for this line, a guy who was such a fixture of that original LJN era that it almost felt like an oversight not having him sooner, and seeing him rendered in that classic style with his dynamic expression and vintage aesthetic is going to hit the sweet spot for collectors who grew up with the originals. Jelly Roll is the more unexpected addition, bringing a modern celebrity crossover into the retro format, which is a fun curveball that gives this wave a different flavor. Both figures come with a collectible poster designed in that original LJN pack-in poster art style, which is a nice touch that adds to the nostalgia factor. Each figure is priced at $24.99 with an August 1 ship date, and you can lock in your preorder for Jake “The Snake” Roberts and your preorder for Jelly Roll plus your preorder for The Rock and preorder for Roddy Piper as they finally surfaced now through Target. It’s worth noting that The Rock and Rowdy Roddy Piper, the other two figures revealed as part of Wave 3, have not appeared for preorder yet, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for those to surface and will share the details the moment they do.

Where to Buy

You can preorder the figures at the following retailers below

Jake “The Snake” Roberts

The card art features a bright blue background with a cartoon illustration of a packed ringside crowd, including caricatured fans and wrestlers reacting to the action. It’s a faithful recreation of the original LJN blister card layout, and Damien sits nicely in the bubble alongside the figure.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts stands 8 inches tall in his classic green trunks with purple snake-pattern detailing, paired with purple boots and white wrist tape. He comes with Damien and a collectible LJN-style poster featuring illustrated artwork of Roberts draped with a python in front of a packed arena crowd.

A close-up reveals the sculpted head with its shoulder-length wavy brown hair, furrowed brow, and signature mustache, all capturing that classic LJN caricature style. The green snake accessory drapes over his shoulder and wraps around his midsection, with sculpted scales running the full length of the body.

The purple snake wrapping around the green trunks have a nice glossy sheen to them, matching the look of the tall lace-up purple boots below. I like how the rubbery material captures that chunky, simplified LJN feel, right down to the open-handed pose and thick proportions.

From the back, the sculpted wavy brown hair falls just past the shoulders with individually carved curls that hold their shape nicely. The white wrist tape and glossy green trunks read just as clean from this angle, and Damien sits naturally draped across the upper back.

Jelly Roll

The packaging card features the classic LJN blister card design with a bright blue background and that bold red “WWE Superstars” header in a chunky retro font. The cartoon crowd illustration shows animated fans cheering ringside alongside caricatured wrestlers mid-match, all done in that signature hand-drawn LJN style.

Jelly Roll is dressed head to toe in a glossy black outfit, with a button-up overshirt, matching pants, and gray-and-black sneakers, all capturing that chunky LJN rubber feel. The card art beside him shows a lively illustrated crowd scene with Jelly Roll flexing in a black overshirt and cap, done in that classic retro LJN poster style.

A close-up shows the head sculpt with a wide, toothy grin, sculpted brown beard, and a backwards black cap with text printed across the brim. The facial tattoos are a nice touch, with small cross and script details applied across the forehead and cheek area.

Outfitted with black-and-white sneakers that have a cow-print pattern across the uppers, Jelly Roll’s footwear adds a nice contrast to the all-black outfit. The glossy finish on the pants bunches slightly at the ankles, keeping with that thick, simplified rubber sculpt these LJN figures are known for.

From the back, the all-black outfit has a smooth, uniform glossy finish across the overshirt and pants, with the backwards cap sitting snugly over the sculpted brown hair peeking out underneath. The gray-and-white sneakers with their cow-print detailing provide the only break in color from the ankles down.

Rowdy Roddy Piper

Rowdy Roddy Piper wears his signature white “Hot Rod!” t-shirt over red trunks, with a black belt and tall red boots with white trim capturing that classic LJN rubber figure look. He comes with a fabric tartan kilt accessory and a collectible poster featuring illustrated artwork of Piper cutting a promo at the Coliseum, done in that vintage LJN pack-in style.

The card art features a bright blue background with a busy illustration of various wrestlers brawling in and around a ring, nailing that chaotic, cartoonish energy of the original LJN card backs. I like how they included the classic LJN rainbow logo on the lower portion of the card, which is a nice touch for collectors who remember the original packaging.

The soft goods kilt has a nice plaid pattern in red, green, and blue, and it sits naturally over the figure’s waist with a bit of real fabric weight to it. Rowdy Roddy Piper’s head sculpt captures a smirking expression with brown hair swept to the side, nailing that cocky Piper look from the ’80s.

The sculpted lace-up detail on those tall red boots has a nice cross-hatch pattern molded into the rubber, and the white trim bands at the top break up the color nicely. One thing I noticed right away is how the “Hot Rod!” graphic on the t-shirt uses that bold yellow-to-orange gradient lettering, matching the classic logo Piper was known for.

From the back, the tartan kilt’s plaid pattern wraps around cleanly with a tucked seam running down the center, and the fabric drapes just above the knee line. The brown hair is sculpted with a subtle part and some texture to the layering, sitting close to the head in that classic ’80s Piper style.

The Rock

The card art here mirrors the same busy wrestling crowd illustration seen on the Piper packaging, with The Rock’s figure secured in a clear plastic blister against that bright blue backdrop. It’s cool to see the retro LJN card design applied to a modern figure like The Rock, blending Attitude Era with that unmistakable ’80s toy line presentation.

The Rock sports black trunks with his name printed in gold script, along with black elbow pads, knee pads, and tall black boots, all capturing that chunky LJN rubber figure aesthetic. He comes with a miniature championship belt accessory featuring gold and blue detailing, plus his own collectible poster showing an illustrated version of him in front of a packed arena crowd.

The Rock’s head sculpt has a strong brow line and a focused expression, with his black hair slicked back in that late ’90s Attitude Era style. The sculpted lace-up detailing on his tall black boots has a nice texture to it, and the glossy finish on the rubber gives the whole figure that authentic LJN sheen.

The black elbow pads and knee pads have a matte finish that contrasts well against the glossy rubber of the skin tone, giving a nice visual separation between the gear and the figure’s surface. The gold script on the trunks catches a bit of light here, and you can make out the sculpted fist with fingers individually molded rather than a simple clenched block.

From the back, The Rock’s black trunks feature a gold Brahma Bull logo centered just below the belt line, a nice nod to one of his most iconic symbols. The black belt wraps around the waist with a small sculpted buckle, and you can see a hint of what looks like a tattoo detail on his upper arm near the elbow pad.
