After getting our first detailed look at the lineup through in-hand images and breaking down the full wave details, the 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Wave 6 is now moving into preorder territory, and collectors in the UK can already secure theirs through The Whole Shebang, who consistently comes through and is ahead of the game with preorders in Europe. The wave includes Sy-klone, Trap Jaw, and Sorceress at £23.99 each, along with a Deluxe Man-E-Faces at £26.99, with shipments expected around September. That Deluxe Man-E-Faces in particular is one I’ve had my eye on since the wave was first revealed, because the 200x redesign of that character leaned so hard into the sci-fi horror aesthetic that defined the MYP era, and seeing it translated into the Origins format with the cartoon deco treatment feels like exactly the kind of release this sub-line was built for. Trap Jaw getting the 200x treatment is equally exciting given how radically different his 2002 look was from the vintage design, and Sorceress rounds out the wave with one of the most visually striking redesigns from that entire series. For collectors in the U.S., we expect preorders to start surfacing at domestic online retailers soon, so keep your eyes on the usual spots. If you’re in the UK and want to get ahead of it, The Whole Shebang has all four figures live and ready to go right now, which is a solid way to lock down a wave that covers a really strong cross-section of both heroic and evil warriors in their 200x glory.

Sorceress 200x features a teal and gold outfit with ornate scrollwork across the bodice, a white draped skirt with gold trim, and tall gold boots with jeweled knee guards. A pair of large feathered wings spread wide behind her, and she carries a staff topped with a winged falcon crest.

Sorceress 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 1

From the back, the wings attach cleanly to the teal armor piece, with each individual feather sculpted in layered rows that taper nicely toward the tips. Her gold crown has a small loop at its peak, and the wrapped skirt shows sculpted folds where the fabric overlaps at the rear.

Sorceress 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 2

Her face sculpt carries a sharp, focused expression with pale blue eyes and defined cheekbones, framed by the falcon-shaped gold headpiece that wraps around her temples. That head sculpt is really solid.

Sorceress 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 3

The falcon staff has a well-defined sculpt on its winged topper, with individually carved feathers fanning out from the central figure. Her gold wrist cuffs and the matching bracelet on her upper arm add a nice layer of detail to the overall design.

Sy Klone 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection features a bold blue and gold color scheme with red accents at the belt, boot tops, and shoulder armor. The large red radar dish mounted behind his torso is a signature piece, and the radar on his chest is a nice nod to the character’s radar-based design.

Sy Klone 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 1

His helmet has a sculpted crest and a small antenna-like fin at the top, framing a stern blue face with sharp, clean features underneath. The shield he carries has a smooth, rounded form with a raised emblem at its center.

Sy Klone 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 2

From the back, the radar dish attaches to a chunky harness that pegs into the upper torso, with segmented armor plating running down the spine. The sculpted panel lines on the legs carry through cleanly from front to back, giving the armor a consistent mechanical look all the way around.

Sy Klone 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 3

The gold armor on his arms and legs has a satin-like finish that contrasts well against the matte blue of the torso, and the red wrist cuffs add a nice pop of color to break up the two tones. That head sculpt is really solid, capturing the 200x animated design faithfully.

Sy Klone 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 4

Trap Jaw 200x features a green skin tone peeking through at the face, knees, and midsection, contrasted by heavy gray and brown armor plating across the legs, torso, and boots. A large curved shoulder guard covers one side while his mechanical jaw and red helmet give him an immediately recognizable look from the 200x series.

Trap Jaw 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 1

The oversized mechanical arm is the real showpiece here, with a large segmented claw attachment that ends in serrated, jaw-like pincers. A skull-and-crossbones emblem is sculpted into his green belt, and the black harness wrapping across his chest has a subtle texture to it.

Trap Jaw 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 2

The leg armor has a layered, segmented construction with overlapping plates at the knees and shins, mixing gray and green panels over a brown undersuit. His boots have a sculpted strap detail across the top and a squared-off toe shape that feels very in line with the 200x cartoon’s chunky, tech-heavy aesthetic.

Trap Jaw 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection 3

Trap Jaw’s mechanical arm features a corrugated hose running from the bicep area into the shoulder socket, adding a nice industrial detail to the prosthetic. The green at his midsection is broken up by the belt’s sculpted buckle, keeping the waist area from reading too plain.

I’m really digging the presentation here because the figure immediately stands out through the large window box packaging.

Man-E-Faces gets his 200x Cartoon Collection digital render, and the color scheme is fully in line with the 200x styling, featuring deep purple armor with dark red piping, gray chest plating, and olive-green accents on the helmet and torso. His helmet sculpt retains the open faceplate design needed for the spinning face feature, and he comes with a compact blaster accessory.

Man-E-Faces 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Deluxe Hi-Res 6

Man-E-Faces is shown here in his human face mode, with a stern, determined expression framed by the large gray helmet that wraps around his head. He’s equipped with a compact blaster pistol with a chunky barrel design.

Man-E-Faces 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Deluxe Hi-Res 4

Man-E-Faces is rotated to his monster face, with a green, snarling visage peering out from behind the helmet’s visor window, which matches his green panel on the chest armor. The heavy gray and dark blue armor on his legs features red accent lines running along the segmented plating, with chunky split-toed boots finishing things off at the feet.

And finally, Man-E-Faces is switched to his robot face, with a with a turquoise-colored mouthpiece which matches the eyes s. Running throughout the figure are thick maroon tubes and piping that wrap around the upper torso, connect beneath the chest, continue around the waist, and extend down the legs, giving the design a heavily mechanical appearance.

Man-E-Faces 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Deluxe Hi-Res 1

From the rear, the 200x Man-E-Faces figure is dominated by a large purple helmet assembly that extends down over the upper back, featuring layered panel lines, raised mechanical details, and a small gray component at the top. Two red ribbed tubes run from the back of the helmet into a central connector mounted between the shoulder blades, while additional tubing continues around the hips and down the backs of the thighs. I like how the mechanical theme carries throughout the figure, with red tubing integrated into the upper arms, forearms, and lower legs, contrasting against the purple armor pieces and silver-gray panels on the backs of the thighs.

Trap Jaw Masters of the Universe 200x Animated Series

Trap Jaw’s appearance in the MYP animated is much more intimidating and menacing. Keeping in line with his character portrayal from the 1980’s Filmation cartoon, he is still portrayed as another of Skeletor’s bumbling henchman. The MYP series did a great job of harkening back to the Filmation cartoon as one episode featured Trap Jaw trying to obtain the mineral Eternium. We finally get the back stroy on Trap Jaw from the minicomic which shows him to have once been a blue-skinned criminal named Kronis. Challening Skeletor’s right to command, Kronis built up an army and tried to overthrow Skeletor, but, in the battle, Kronis was badly injured. Seeing that Kronis could still be of use, Skeletor ordered Tri-Klops to repair him, turning him into the Trap Jaw we know today. The figure was also pretty massive and we are surprised that this is not a deluxe figure.

The cool thing about the MYP series is that they delved into certain characters backstory! For example, with a Trap Jaw figure on the horizon, we could very well see a Kronis figure come to the line.
