To me, my X-Men! Hasbro is giving us another reason to bolster our Sentinel armies and we are here for it! The X-Men Marvel Legends Marvel’s Sentinels (Variants) Action Figure Two-Pack is now up for preorder at our affiliate partner BigBadToyStore and Hasbro Pulse for $57.99 with an expected ship date of October 2026. I love that these are based on the classic X-Men video game, and the alternate color schemes are going to look amazing alongside any existing Sentinels you already have on your shelf. Two in a pack at this price point is really cool for anyone looking to army build, and you know I can’t resist a good army builder situation. Each figure comes loaded with nine accessories including alternate hands, blast effects, and a boulder for recreating those iconic mutant showdown scenes. How cool is that?! Whether you’re setting up a massive danger room display or just want your X-Men team to have something intimidating to face off against, this two-pack is super exciting. So let’s take a look at the X-Men Marvel Legends Marvel’s Sentinels (Variants) 2 Pack!

The box art goes all-in on the retro video game aesthetic, with a pixel-art Sentinel rendered in bold reds and blues, looming forward against what looks like a side-scrolling stage backdrop complete with tiny battling characters. The purple diamond-patterned lower section and classic X-Men logo tie the whole package together with a Saturday morning nostalgia that’s hard to resist.

Here’s a closer look at the side of the box, and you can see how the pixel-art wraps around the packaging with a second Sentinel variant in green and purple lurking on the right edge, firing a yellow beam alongside the primary red-and-blue version. It’s cool to see both color schemes teased together on the box art, reinforcing that army-building potential right from the shelf.

Here are some fun shots of both Sentinels side by side, and you get a real sense of how well these two color schemes complement each other. The green-and-purple variant leans into that classic Sentinel palette while the red-and-blue one pulls directly from the video game sprite, and both come loaded with translucent orange-and-red blast effects that plug into the palms for some serious firepower on the shelf.

I like how this confrontation staging really shows off the sculpt differences between the two Sentinels, with the green-and-purple variant turned just enough to reveal a small red sensor on its chest and the articulated finger sculpting on its extended hand. The red-and-blue Sentinel’s open palm with the recessed blast port is a nice touch, and those yellow circular accents on the chest and yellow buckle details on the belt add just enough color variation to keep it from being a simple two-tone repaint.

You can see how the back of the green-and-purple Sentinel reveals the same segmented armor paneling as its counterpart, with deep sculpted lines running through the shoulder guards and torso that keep the silhouette from reading as flat. The red-and-blue variant’s rear view really highlights the contrast between its glossy blue limbs and matte red armor sections, and those chunky cylindrical boot cuffs have a satisfying chunkiness to them that sells the robotic weight.

I noticed that the face sculpts share the same stern, furrowed expression, with a squared-off jaw and heavy brow that sit deep under each helmet’s visor ridge. Something I appreciate here is how the two helmets use the same mold but feel distinct, the green one blending into its purple torso while the blue helmet pops hard against the red chest plate, and those small yellow dots on each pectoral are easy to miss but do a lot to unify the design language across both variants.

Here’s a closer look at the Sentinel in action alongside what appears to be a green-and-purple figure getting tossed aside, and that translucent blast effect clipped into the palm has a great graduated color shift from red at the base to orange and yellow at the tip. One thing I noticed right away is the boulder accessory isn’t in play here, but the included nine accessories across this two-pack give you plenty to work with when staging these robot-versus-mutant moments on your shelf.

The green-and-purple Sentinel gets a real moment here with that boulder accessory hoisted overhead, and the sculpted rock itself is impressive, covered in rough, irregular craggy textures with layered sediment lines that make it feel genuinely heavy. Those sharp red spikes extending below the boots are a detail I hadn’t caught before, adding a nice aggressive element to the lower silhouette that pairs well with the yellow belt buckle and small red chest sensors.

It’s nice to see the full accessory spread laid out like this, and each Sentinel gets its own color-matched pair of open blast hands, purple for the green variant and dark red for the blue variant. The boulder accessory has a flat, fractured surface with an almost metalite gray finish, and at this size it looks like it’ll scale well for overhead-toss poses or ground-smash setups with either figure.

Outfitted with that bold red-and-blue color scheme pulled straight from the video game source material, this Sentinel’s glossy finish on the torso armor contrasts nicely against the blue shoulder joints and upper arms, where you can see subtle sculpted panel lines running along the bicep sections. The yellow circular accents on each side of the chest catch your eye immediately, and the helmet’s ribbed detailing across the crown gives it a mechanical, industrial feel that works perfectly for a mass-produced robot hunter.
