We got our hands on the latest Series 4 WWE Figures Mr. T and Macho Man Randy Savage. The first of Series 4, Mattel has been crankin’ it up a notch with these two guys! Ohhhhhhh yeeeeaaaahhhhhh!!! Mr. T came out spectacular and he gives those old school A-Team feels! He is dressed head to toe in his signature camo, red shirt, and you can’t miss those gold chains and belt! The man of many robes, Macho Man comes packed in his purple robe with orange stars and he looks stunning!
We will take a look at both wrestling greats and their histories to see who will reign supreme. I want to thank Michael of Toyhabits (an avid wrestling fan) for putting together these amazing histories on both Mr. T and Macho Man Randy Savage!

ROUND 1: Packaging
And the bell sounds! Round 1 is Packaging, and let’s take a look at which wrestler has a better overall package, shall we?
Mr. T’s card art pays homage to Wrestlemania 1 where he is featured on the front of the VHS (remember those days!) slip cover! The back of the card features his most famous catch phrases, the most widely known being “I pity the fool” and if you remember his tagline from the Masters of the WWE Universe line, he was the Heroic Pitier of Fools!
The Macho Man’s card art pays homage to Randy Savage as he is clad in his 1988 robe that he wore on Saturday Night’s Main Event! He is most famous for this slogan “Dig it,” which he would often use as a filler word during his promos!

The rear of the cardbacks feature black and white sketches of each character with their signature quotes. My favorite is” First Name: ‘Mr’, Last Name: ‘T’ “! Cracks me up!! You can also see the rest of Series 4 who includes Typhoon and The Rock.

ROUND 1 Winner:
I have to give this round to Mr.T for sporting some incredible artwork front and back, having that awesome signature saying of ” First Name “Mr” , Last Name ‘T’ “, and for just looking amazing in his blister bubble sporting all those gold chains, camo gear and knee highs! WINNER ROUND ONE MR. T!
Ding Ding….. Let’s head on over to Round 2!
ROUND 2: The Figures
So Mr. T takes the first round in overall packaging. But let’s take a closer look at each of the figures and their accessories to see who will win ROUND 2!
Mr. T
Mr. T comes loaded with clothing and accessories. He comes with several removable accessories, which the WWE Superstars line is famous for. His belt, cuffs, and gold chains come off and you can basically strip him down to his yellow wrestling trunks and you can’t forget the knee-high socks! He also comes with two-piece camo jumpsuit that pays homage to his Clubber Lang character in Rocky 3.

The cuffs, gold chains, and knuckle-wear give him so many display options! Pose him with and without his belt for a myriad of Mr. T looks!

Here you can see what the basic Mr. T Figure looks all decked out in his camo jumpsuit and mega bling.

Here you can see what the basic Mr. T Figure looks like without his camo jumpsuit and bling.

Head:
“I pity the Fool” is what you think of when you look at this Mr.T head sculpt! The incredible likeness to the tough man himself is fantastic! With a cool snarl on his lips, and a stern brow, you don’t want to mess with him! He is of course complete with his signature beard and mohawk.

Chest and Back
Mr.T’s chest uses the standard muscular buck of all the WWE Superstars. He is dressed in his Camo jumpsuit, with red sleeves. This top is a separate shirt piece from his pants, and velcro’s in the back. He is complete with his ginormous amount of gold chains hanging off his neck, so the bling completes the look.

Arms, Waist , Legs
Arms: His camo jumpsuit has red sleeves on them. Mr.T’s arms are of the standard wrestling buck and he has white cuffs painted on his wrists. But he wouldn’t be Mr. T with out some added bling, so he comes with a removeable large gold cuff for his right wrist. And another removeable smaller gold textured bracelet for his left wrist.

Waist: Mr. T includes a red wrestling belt with a large gold “T” in the front as a belt buckle.
Legs: Mr. T is wearing camo pants as part of his wrestling jumpsuit. Underneath his pants, you can strip him down to his yellow wrestling trunks. He is also rockin’ some cool 80’s knee-high socks and black shoes.

Accessories
Hands: Mr. T comes with 2 sets of alternate hands. He has 2 left and right pointing hands, cause you know, he has to tell people what’s up with authority! He also includes his signature gold knuckle-wear on two hands to complete the classic Mr. T look!

Bling: Mr. T is known for sporting some serious bling, and he would not be complete without some massive gold chains and cuffs. He comes wth a large right wrist cuff, and left wrist bracelet. Then of course a massive, sculpted set of gold chains to wear around his neck. He comes with several removable accessories, which the WWE Superstars line is famous for. His belt, cuffs, and gold chains come off and you can basically strip him down to his yellow wrestling trunks.

Jumpsuit: As we mentioned before, Mr. T includes a two piece camo jumpsuit. The top is camouflaged with red sleeves. The pants are all camouflaged. Both have velcro in the back to open up and help easily remove the gear for Mr.T to go all out in his yellow wrestling trunks.

Belt: Of course, this wouldn’t be a complete set with out inclusion of a cool wrestling belt. So Mr.T comes with a red belt made out of soft plastic. It has a large painted gold belt buckle with a ‘T” sculpted on it as well.

Macho Man Randy Savage
Decades ahead of his time in both the sport he dominated and the anti-bullying message he promoted with this garment, the Macho Man remains one of professional wrestling’s most celebrated figures. The presented robe is as flamboyant as its original owner, awash in gold and purple sequins that shout a “Macho Madness” slogan amidst a constellation of large golden stars. He comes with his famous purple robe and several extra hands, the most famous being the raised index figure.

Head:
Oooohh Yeeeahhh! This Macho Man Randy Savage head sculpt has it all! Cool rockin’ 80’s super cool shades and who can forget that stylish stripped purple, white and orange head band! Macho Man is looking superfly in his 80’s inspired head gear! He includes his signature beard and grimace on his face where you can tell he is just sayin “Ooohhh yeeeahhh”

Chest and Back
Macho Man’s torso is made from the standard MOTU/wrestling muscular buck that all the rest of the wrestlers come with. He has a nice tan skin tone.

Arms, Waist , Legs
Arms: Macho Man’s arms are also from the standard MOTU/wrestling muscular buck that all the rest of the wrestlers come with and here he is wearing painted white bracelets at his wrists.

Waist: Randy Savage comes with his signature purple shorts. They have white stars on them and on the back read ” Macho Man”.
Legs: Macho Man’s legs are also from the standard MOTU/wrestling muscular buck. Here he is wearing yellow knee pads, with white socks and yellow high wrestling boots. The ainted white boot laces set them off nicely.

Accessories
Hands: Macho Man includes 2 alternate pointing hands, one left and one right. That way you can pose him with his famous Raised index fingers up in the sky cause “he’s number one!”

Robe: The man of many robes has to of course come with an amazing wrestling robe. So Macho Man includes a beautiful purple wrestling robe. It is a shinny purple color with large orange stars on it. The front side has some nice red laces hanging from the front. There is red trim around the edges and his shirt cuffs as well. You will also see the large ” Macho Madness logo imprinted on the back of his robe.

ROUND 2 Winner:
ROUND 2 goes to Mr.T again! He is just rockin’ his 80’s inspired wrestling gear! With all the alternate looks you can give him and his cool A-Team inspired outfit, he is just oozing 80’s nostalgia! The Wrestlers take the ring. Macho Man looks determined, but Mr. T is starting strong with a head lock move!

Oh…. and now Mr. T has Macho Man locked up for a body slam!! He takes him down and now an elbow to the throat! Oh folks, that’s gotta hurt!

Can the Macho Man recover from this? He looks kind of wasted…..It looks like Mr. T pins him and wins it!
