2-Bobsteady & Metal-Boto Turtles of Grayskull Deluxe In-Hand Images

With the release date of the Target exclusive 2-Bobsteady Turtles of Grayskull Deluxe Target exclusive looming on the horizon, collector’s are getting their hot hands on the figure. With the release of 2-Bopsteady, all of the parts to complete the Metal-Boto build-a-figure are now available and he looks amazing as well! Since we got word that their was a Turltes of Grayskull mashup of Beebpo and Rocksteady, we’ve clamoring to see some in-hand pics and special thanks to Steve for sending us in-hand pics of both 2-Bobsteady and the completed Metal-Boto figure! We also wanted to thank Mr. Home Arcade for providing updated pics and the very cool way he made individual figures of Beebop and Rocksteady!

November 7, 2024 Update: More Pics from Mr. Home Arcade

We could not wait to see the pics of 2-Bopsteady from Mr. Home Arcade as he does some amazing things with the figures. Here can you also see the completed Metal-Boto build-a-figure alongside 2-Bopsteady with weapons in hand!

2-Bopsteady made a perfect mashup for the Turtles of Grayskull line and he uses (and reuses) some parts borrowed from the MOTU Origins and Cartoon Collection lines!

The collectible card looks outstanding as we get to see the illustration of 2-Bopsteady on the front and bio on the back!

Mr. Home Arcade creatively separated the two figures into Beebop and Rocksteady and they look amazing! This is the first time we are seeing this done and we love the result!

For Beebop, the shoulder armor is from the Turtles of Grayskull Michaelangelo, the vest is from Leatherhead (with some modifications), the legs are from Anti-Eternia He-Man, the waist is from ToG Casey Jones, and the boots are from Badra from the MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection figure. Rocksteady is made up of a Cartoon Collection Stratos body, the legs were from Sun Man, the waist piece and vest (with modifications) was from 2000x He-Man, the boots were from Tuvar!

Metal-Boto looks awesome with all of this parts and it’s so cool how his accessories plug into his turtle shell!

Here are all of the parts for the build-a-figure in case you want o take inventory! There are a total of roughly 15 pieces that make up this very unique figure!

Here we can see the front and back of the box of the figure and 2-Bopsteady looks amazing in the window display!

Official images are great but the actual in-hand pics are a 1000x better! You can see the true colors of the figure purple paint app really pops on Beebop! using the Two-Bad Cartoon Collection buck, they mashed up two of Shredder’s baddies in a cool and unique way! The figure also comes with a bio card instead of a mini comic, that reads:

The completed Metal-Boto figure looks fantastic and the parts could be used to create future Masters of the Universe figures. For example, Mr. Home Arcade created a Blast Attak MOTU Origins concept from the legs, which we could likely see as the Metal-Boto parts are very similar in the design.

You can also see how the sword stows on the back of 2-Bobsteady’s back and how the extra parts fit on to Metal-Boto’s shell!

2-Bopsteady’s bandolier and vest are also removable and you can see how Metal-Boto looks without his shell!

2-Bopsteady Card Art Reveal

Roy Juarez and his talented team of artists have revealed the 2-BopSteady Turtles of Grayskull MOTU Origins Deluxe Package and it looks amazing! 2-Bopsteady, an anti-hero mashup of henchmen Rocksteady and Bebop in the style of MOTU’s Two-Bad, with a combined torso from the two characters, and swappable heads for each. This unique combined figure comes with a sword and a mace as well as a Build-A-Figure part for Metal-Boto. Metal-Boto is Roboto programmed with Metalhead’s memories. 2-BopSteady comes packaged in the same type of box as the previous deluxe figures. The rear of the package features stunning artwork of 2-BopSteady battling Ninja Stealth He-Man and Stealth Ninja Leonardo.

Let’s take a closer look at the Turtles of Grayskull MOTU Origins Deluxe 2-BopSteady Package. The front of the package features several illustrations of 2-BopSteady with the purple rock burst, and sewer piping with dripping green ooze. The rear of the package 2-BopSteady at the Ooze Pit battling Ninja Stealth He-Man and Stealth Ninja Leonardo. This is yet another hint at the Ooze pit! Does that mean we might see it at SDCC this year?

The sides of the package have yet another illustration of 2-BopSteady on one side wielding his chained mace and on the other his sword.

As part of Target’s Summer Geek Out 2024, the Turtles of Grayskull MOTU Origins TMNT 2-Bobsteady crossover figure went up for preorder!

June 20, 2024: The Whole Shebang Preorder

The Whole Shebang strikes again as they just put up the Turtles of Grayskull 2-Bopsteady mashup that is slotted as a Target exclusive. Officially revealed during the MOTU March Madness 2024 figure reveal event, 2-Bobsteady is a cool idea that combines Bepop and Rocksteady for the Turtles of Grayskull line and this figure buck makes way for a Cartoon Collection Two-Bad! We got wind that 2-BobSteady was in the works back in February 2024 so we were excited to see his official reveal! They recently put up the deluxe MOTU Origins Horde Trooper Prime and Hover Robot up, which gave us a window in when we might see this figure in the U.S.! We are assuming this figure will be shelf warmer like other Target Turtles of Grayskull exclusives and should be easy to pin down. The shipping date for 2-BopSteady is October 2024 in the UK so hopefully we will see him sooner in the U.S. Given that this figure will be a Target exclusive (with Build-A-Figure), we will make sure to update everyone once we’ve pinned down his preorder info!

Deluxe Rocksteady / Bebop: Two-Bad Style Figure

This new deluxe Target exclusive has got to be the coolest name on the Wave 4 list! Looks like we will be getting a Two-Bad style TMNT MOTU Origins crossover figure. This also means great news for Two-Bad fans out there! In the MOTU Origins line as it only makes sense that if Mattel is developing the two headed buck, that they use it for both Bebop /Rocksteady and of course Two-Bad! This new deluxe figure is going to be incredible when it comes out and we can’t wait to see what they did with him! We have an idea of what a Two-Bad style figure for the MOTU Origins TMNT crossover line would look like from some photoshop fun by the Toy Sorceress herself!
