Following up on our Masterverse Keldor review, Dragstor comes charging in and this one immediately commands attention on the shelf. Reimagined in Masterverse scale with deluxe detailing and New Eternia styling, this version of the cyborg warrior feels like a bold expansion of his classic concept while still staying rooted in Masters of the Universe lore. The backstory driving this release is especially intriguing, with Dragstor breaking free from Hordak’s mind control and using his vehicle transformation powers to be the first to track down the Power of Grayskull for his new master, Despara. That narrative twist alone makes this figure a fascinating addition to the evolving New Eternia lineup. With 30 points of articulation, there is a ton of flexibility whether you display him upright or convert him into his prone rolling configuration by swapping out his hands for the included wheels. The red harness adds a striking high tech element to the sculpt, and the engine that also doubles as a weapon, gives him even more presence on the shelf. It is always exciting to see Masterverse take a character like Dragstor and give him this kind of deluxe treatment. Huge thanks to Big Bad Toy Store for sending this figure over for review, and you can still grab Dragstor now at Big Bad Toy Store and be sure to check stock status after the jump!

Packaging and Art
The front of the window box plays out like a high-impact battle mural, with Dragstor tearing across the front of Castle Grayskull in a rocky, dust-choked landscape in full vehicle mode, his wheel forearms grinding through stone as debris scatters outward in every direction. The palette is dominated by blazing oranges and deep reds that wash the terrain and sky in heat, while to the left a rocky outcrop rises behind charging He-Man and Extendar, who are partially swallowed by swirling clouds, adding depth and tension to the scene. Along the right edge, the artwork shows Castle Grayskull set against the same scorched horizon. The clear angular window cuts into the illustration, framing the figure against a dark interior so the red chest harness, silver tubing, and engine detailing visually echo the mechanical intensity of the painted scene surrounding him.

The back panel places Dragstor in front of the Fright Zine beneath a blazing red moon that bleeds across a golden-orange sky, twisted tree limbs stretching overhead to frame the scene with a slightly ominous silhouette. The actual figure is photographed against this illustrated backdrop, fists raised as if mid-charge, his red chest harness and silver tubing catching the warm tones of the environment behind him. To the right, inset panels showcase his vehicle configuration, the forearm wheels extended as he lies prone, and a close look at the engine pack mounted across his back. Along the bottom, we have the other figures in the wave, grounding the scene in a wider world while the painted terrain, drifting mist, and scorched Despondos textures keep the focus on the intensity of the setting. His bio reads “Breaking free from Hordak’s mind control, Dragstor uses his vehicle transformation powers to be the first to find the Power of Grayskull for his new master, Despara.”

This angled side of the window box continues the battle mural, with Dragstor blasting forward in vehicle mode across a storm of shattered rock and swirling dust, his wheel forearms grinding through the terrain as debris erupts around him in fiery orange and gold tones. Behind him, the chaos expands into a layered action scene where He-Man charges through the smoke below, sword in hand, while Extendar rises just above, and Grizzlor looms in the background as a roaring, fur-covered presence framed by flame-lit clouds.

This side panel shifts from battlefield chaos to a far more controlled, unsettling moment, presenting Dragstor upright and restrained against a vertical slab, thick straps binding his arms and torso as green vapor curls around the base. Above him, a close portrait of his masked helmet and glowing eyes dominates the fiery orange background, while below the larger full-body illustration emphasizes the mechanical tubing and armor that make him as much machine as warrior. The imagery nods directly to his New Etheria storyline, where Dragstor is captured and subjected to mind control under Hordak’s influence, effectively weaponized through technological manipulation before eventually breaking free; the “table” is not just scenery but a visual shorthand for that forced transformation and loss of autonomy. The warm, oppressive color palette and the rigid vertical composition reinforce that sense of captivity, contrasting sharply with the explosive motion seen on the front panels and deepening the character’s arc from controlled enforcer to self-determined force.

Figure Details
Dragstor appears here in his New Etheria look with a blue base suit, red chest harness, silver tubing, and bright orange gloves and boots. Included with the figure are a large silver engine pack that mounts to his back and can also be used as a handheld weapon, one interchangeable orange gripping hand, and a detachable wheel forearm piece to support his rolling attack setup.

This close-up highlights Dragstor’s upper body sculpt, showing the red paint apps framing wheel cavity with silver tubing running across and into the back. The helmet features a red horde symboland a vented mask, while the bright orange gloves contrast sharply against the blue arms. His right forearm is fitted with the detachable wheel assembly, showing the black tire with gray spokes connected by an orange armature at the wrist.

Here we’re moving down to the lower body, where you can see the layered gray thigh armor panels sitting over the blue legs, with red bands wrapping just above the knees. The bright orange boots really pop at this level, featuring sculpted cuff lines and a rounded toe, while the darker shin guards break up the color and add a bit of visual structure as we continue downward.

Now we’re moving around to the upper back, where you can really see how the red paint app and silver tubing wraps across his shoulders and connects into the central black mounting block. Silver tubing runs from shoulder to shoulder and feeds directly into that back port, which is designed to secure the engine pack in place.

As we continue the tour around to the lower back and legs, you can see how the black trunks and silver belt wrap cleanly around the waist, with the red bands sitting just above the knees and the bright orange boots flaring outward toward the calves. The sculpted seams and hinge cuts are visible along the backs of the legs, and this is also where you’ll notice the stamped product numbers printed on the upper thighs, which personally I’m not a fan of since they break up the clean look of the sculpt when they’re this visible.

Now we’re turning him to the side, and since the body sculpt is symmetrical, we’re really only focusing on this one profile to give you the full picture. From this angle you can see the layered sculpt work in the blue arm, the red harness wrapping over the shoulder, and the silver tubing feeding back toward the engine mount. The wheel forearm assembly is clearly visible here, showing how the orange armature connects at the wrist and supports the black tire with gray spokes, while the thigh armor, red knee band, and flared orange boot continue that clean, mirrored design down the leg. We can also get a look at the face as he has green skin with orange eyes that tie into the other oranges on his sculpt.

Now let’s take a look at his accessories laid out separately so you can see everything clearly. He comes with the large silver engine pack featuring multiple exhaust pipes and molded mechanical detailing, which mounts to his back and also functions as a handheld weapon. You also get the detachable wheel forearm assembly with the orange armature and black tire, along with an interchangeable orange gripping hand to help support different display options.

Now we’re swapping in his standard fists, and you can see how much more aggressive he looks gripping the engine as a handheld weapon. The silver exhaust assembly sits securely in his hand, with the layered pipes and twin barrel ends facing forward, giving it a blaster-like feel.

Now we’re shifting him into his vehicle configuration, laying him flat so you can see how everything comes together. Both forearms are fitted with the wheel assemblies, creating that rolling attack setup, while the engine pack is mounted securely to his back. The one thing I do wish they had added here is a bit more articulation in the neck, because in this mode he can’t really look up or forward as much as you’d want, which slightly limits how his rolling pose could be.
