We’ve been tracking this wave piece by piece as the packaging reveals rolled in, from our first look at Ram Man and Tri-Klops in their official packaging to the Teela v2 in-package reveal and that gorgeous translucent Skeletor package reveal that had everyone doing a double take, and now the full MOTU Core Wave 4 assortment is officially up for preorder on Amazon. Ram Man, Tri-Klops, Teela v2, and Skeletor v2 in all his translucent goodness make up a seriously well-rounded wave that covers a lot of ground for the line, giving us two heavy hitters from the Evil Warriors alongside a refreshed take on one of Eternia’s most iconic heroes and a variant of the big bad himself that leans into something visually different and fun. I love how this wave balances classic essentials like Ram Man and Tri-Klops, characters that the Core line absolutely needed to get to, with updated versions that give collectors who already have the first rounds of Teela and Skeletor a reason to come back for more. That translucent Skeletor especially feels like the kind of release that’s going to look incredible on a shelf with some light behind it, and I’m curious to see how it looks in hand once these start shipping.
