Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade Limited Edition Custom Figure In-Hand Review
I have been waiting to get my hands on the Masters of the Universe Origins Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade figure, and man, am I excited about this one! I purchased the original Mr. Home Arcade custom figure earlier this year and absolutely loved it! So when I found out an Anti-Eternia version was coming, there was no question that I needed to add this one to my collection. And now that it’s finally here, I couldn’t wait to tear into it!
For those who don’t know Mr. Home Arcade, he’s not only a good friend of mine, but he’s also an amazing person and a tremendous asset to the Masters of the Universe community. His passion for MOTU is infectious, and I love seeing someone take that enthusiasm and turn it into something collectors can actually hold in their hands. And he didn’t do it alone! This figure is the result of a collaboration with some incredibly talented people, including Danoartist, RBL3D, ALF_INFLIKT, Val Staples, Masters of the Mini Comics, and Mega Custom X. It really does take a village, and I know how much time, hard work, and dedication everyone poured into this project. That’s something I genuinely appreciate, and I love seeing this kind of collaboration within the MOTU community!
And there’s so much more here than just the figure! We’re getting custom packaging, an original six-page mini comic that takes the Mr. Home Arcade storyline in a wild new direction, collector cards, plenty of accessories, and even a special unmasked alternate head that’s randomly included with one out of every four figures. And somehow, I managed to get one! How lucky is that? Wink, wink.
I’m genuinely thrilled to have this figure in my collection, especially knowing how much work and creativity went into making it happen. If you missed the first release, you can also read our original coverage of the Mr. Home Arcade custom action figure. Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade is a limited-run custom figure, and you can order yours directly from Toy Stalker. So let’s get this guy out of the packaging and see what Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade is all about!
Packaging
Before we even get to the figure, I have to talk about the packaging because MHA really went above and beyond with this release!
Everything comes in a black shipping box with a custom Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade sticker prominently displayed on the front. And he even included an extra sticker, which I immediately slapped onto my MacBook. LOL! I love little extras like that, especially when they’re created specifically for the release.
Once you open the shipping box, you’re greeted with the carded figure, which comes protected inside a hard plastic case. This is such a great touch because it not only protects the packaging but also allows you to hang the figure without punching a hole through the cardback.
And that’s just the first layer of protection!
MHA also included a separate clear plastic sleeve that allows you to slide the card and figure out without damaging the packaging. You can open the figure, enjoy it, and put everything back together without destroying that beautiful cardback. As someone who appreciates great packaging illustrations, I absolutely love that he thought of this.
Now, let’s talk about the card art because Danoartist absolutely knocked it out of the park!
The front features a fantastic red Masters of the Universe logo that immediately establishes the Anti-Eternia theme. I especially love how the red logo connects visually with the illustration on the back, bringing the entire presentation together.
And the back? WOW!
The illustration features Castle Hellskull in the background, a massive pale face with glowing red eyes, and an incredible scene of Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade and Anti-Eternia He-Man locking arms in a Predator-style handshake. The white illustrations against the darker background look amazing, and the red accents really make everything pop. There’s so much going on in this illustration that I found myself spending quite a bit of time looking at all the details.
Even the cardback itself deserves some attention because it’s thick! Yes, I said thick! LOL! Seriously, though, I appreciate that MHA used substantial cardstock rather than something flimsy. It gives the packaging a more premium feel and makes the artwork even better suited for display.
And finally, there’s the way everything is packed inside.
The figure comes secured in a clear plastic inner tray, with the weapons and blast effect packaged separately in a protective bag. Nothing is just tossed into the package. Everything has its place, and it’s obvious that MHA put some thought into making sure collectors receive their figures and accessories safely.
It’s this kind of attention to detail that I really appreciate. From the protective shipping box and reusable plastic cases to the incredible illustrations and carefully arranged contents, MHA made sure that opening this figure feels like an experience rather than simply taking another action figure out of a box.
The complete release is presented with the carded figure inside its protective case, the Darkness and Deceit mini comic, and the included collector cards. The red Masters of the Universe logo and coordinating illustrations give the packaging and printed extras a consistent appearance.

The black shipping box features a custom illustrated Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade sticker centered on the front. An additional loose sticker is included above the box, featuring the same character illustration.

The carded figure is housed in a clear protective case with a red illustrated backing card and a specially colored Masters of the Universe logo. The figure is arranged vertically inside the packaging, with the illustrated card providing the backdrop.

The reverse features an elaborate illustration by Danoartist, with Castle Hellskull in the background and a large pale face with glowing red eyes overlooking the scene. Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade and Anti-Eternia He-Man are depicted locking arms in a dramatic Predator-style handshake.

The printed card and separate clear plastic sleeve demonstrate the packaging’s reusable construction. The carded figure can slide out of the sleeve without damaging the printed artwork.

The front card features a large red Masters of the Universe logo against a red burst design. A yellow callout announces the included mini comic, giving the packaging a vintage-inspired presentation.

The complete rear illustration brings together Castle Hellskull, the enormous pale face with red eyes, and the arm-locking scene between Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade and Anti-Eternia He-Man. The white illustrations, dark background, and red highlights create a striking composition.

A closer look at the rear illustration highlights the enormous pale face with glowing red eyes and sharp teeth. The white and gray illustration contrasts with the dark background, while red accents emphasize the character’s eyes.

The illustration features an absolutely fantastic depiction of Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade, with his wild white hair, black mask, and white armor standing out against the dark background. AE MHA and Anti-Eternia He-Man lock arms in a dramatic handshake, with electric effects surrounding their clasped hands. I especially love the exaggerated comic-book styling and the incredible detail Danoartist put into AE MHA’s appearance!

The figure is secured in a molded clear plastic tray, with the weapons and blast effect packaged together in a separate protective bag. The arrangement keeps the contents organized and protected while allowing collectors to remove everything without damaging the illustrated card.

Figure Details
Now that we’ve gone through the packaging, let’s get to the figure itself because Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade looks absolutely fantastic!
The black, white, and red color scheme works incredibly well together, and I love how it pays homage to the Anti-Eternia lore from the classic Masters of the Universe German audio dramas of the 1980s. For those unfamiliar with the concept, Anti-Eternia originated in West Germany, where the familiar MOTU universe was turned upside down, introducing evil counterparts to the heroes we all know and love. It’s a fantastic piece of MOTU history, and I love seeing that influence carried over into this custom figure!
The black body provides a great foundation, while the white chest armor immediately grabs your attention. And those red paint applications? They really make the figure pop!
Starting from the bottom, AE MHA features black boots with silver accents, white cuffs, and red star emblems on the lower legs. The red loincloth helps connect the lower half of the figure to the armor, while the silver details provide a nice contrast to the black body.
Moving up to the torso, the white armor is easily one of my favorite parts of the design. The sculpted mechanical details look great, particularly the red recessed sections across the front. Silver paint applications highlight the central details and the lower edge of the armor, giving everything a cohesive appearance.
But there’s one particular detail that I absolutely love, and that’s the matching symbols on the chest armor and wrist bracers.
The red and silver star emblems tie the pieces together beautifully. It’s a relatively small detail, but it makes a big difference to the overall design. I especially appreciate the paint applications around the symbols, which help them stand out against the white armor and black wrist guards.
And then there’s the head sculpt!
RBL3D did an incredible job with the masked head. The angular red emblem across the forehead, narrow red eyes, and silver-gray facial hair give AE Mr. Home Arcade a fantastic appearance. The black face covering features silver studs, while the sculpted hair adds texture and personality.
Even the back of the head includes sculpted stitching, and the white armor continues around the rear with additional raised panels and mechanical details.
One thing worth mentioning is that the chest armor is attached to the figure and isn’t designed to be removed. That’s not a problem for me, but it’s useful information for collectors who enjoy swapping parts.
Overall, I love how this figure turned out. The combination of custom sculpting, paint applications, and familiar MOTU Origins styling makes Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade feel right at home in the collection.
The front view highlights the black body, white chest armor with red recessed panels, and matching red and silver symbols on the chest and wrist guards. White boot cuffs, red lower-leg emblems, and silver accents complete the design.

The rear view reveals the white armor’s sculpted mechanical panels and circular silver-gray detail. The back of the head also features sculpted stitching, with silver-gray hair extending beneath the black head covering.

The side profile shows the thickness of the white chest armor and the sculpted mechanical details around the waist. The red forehead emblem and silver-gray facial hair remain prominent from this angle.

The opposite profile highlights how the white armor extends over the shoulders and continues around the back. The black wrist guard, red loincloth, and white boot cuffs maintain the figure’s consistent color scheme.

The masked head features an angular red forehead emblem, narrow red eyes, sculpted silver-gray facial hair, and a black mouth covering with six silver studs. I especially love the combination of the red eyes, black mask, and silver-gray beard. RBL3D really nailed the look of AE MHA!

One of my absolute favorite details on this figure is the matching red and silver star emblems on the white chest armor and wrist guards. I love how the symbols tie everything together, especially with the silver paint applications surrounding them. It’s a relatively small detail, but it’s one of those things that makes me appreciate just how much thought went into this figure!

Weapons and Accessories
One thing I really appreciate about Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade is that MHA didn’t skimp on the accessories. There’s a nice assortment of weapons here, including some familiar pieces with a new look that fits the Anti-Eternia theme.
Let’s start with the sword, axe, and shield, which have been repurposed from Anti-Eternia He-Man. I love that decision! Not only do they fit the character’s color scheme, but they’re also a clever connection to the existing MOTU Origins line. The black weapons with red accents look fantastic alongside AE MHA’s white armor.
But the accessory that really steals the show for me is the custom blaster!
I absolutely love this thing! The design is fantastic, and the silver paint applications really bring out all the mechanical details. It’s one of my favorite accessories included with AE MHA, and I appreciate that MHA went the extra mile to give the figure something unique.
And then there’s the glow-in-the-dark blast effect! It looks great attached to the blaster, but you really need to turn out the lights to appreciate it. That’s when the effect really pops! I love that MHA included something like this because it adds another dimension to displaying the figure.
The blaster can be displayed with or without the effect, giving collectors a couple of options. And when you combine it with the sword, axe, and shield, there’s plenty here to work with when displaying the figure.
Of course, we also have to talk about that special unmasked head!
As I mentioned earlier, only one out of every four figures randomly includes this alternate head, and I was lucky enough to get one. The exposed face features red eyes and silver-gray facial hair, providing a completely different look from the masked version. I love both options, although there’s something about the masked head that really works for me.
It’s a great assortment of accessories, and I especially appreciate that MHA included a completely original weapon rather than relying entirely on existing MOTU parts.
The accessory assortment includes a black sword, axe, and shield with red accents, a custom blaster, and a creamy white glow-in-the-dark blast effect. The weapons complement AE MHA’s black, white, and red color scheme.

The unmasked head gives AE MHA a completely different look, with gray hair, a darkened face, red eyes, and a silver-gray beard. The matching red and silver emblem on the white chest armor is also clearly visible.

AE MHA holds the custom black blaster with the creamy white blast effect attached to its barrel. The white armor and red paint applications stand out against the black body, while the oversized effect gives the weapon an impressive firing display.

Here’s what happens when the lights go out! The blast effect glows a vivid green in the darkness, and I absolutely love how much it pops compared to its creamy white appearance in normal lighting.

With the blast effect held overhead, AE MHA shows off the black body, white chest armor, red loincloth, and matching red and silver star emblems. The effect’s pale finish contrasts nicely with the figure’s darker colors.

AE MHA carries the black battle axe and round black shield, both repurposed from Anti-Eternia He-Man. The shield’s red circular details complement the figure’s red accents, while the axe has the familiar double-bladed MOTU design.

A closer look at AE MHA holding the sword highlights its black blade and sculpted hilt. The masked head’s red forehead emblem, silver-gray beard, and studded mouth covering are also prominent.

AE MHA raises the black sword while carrying the red-and-black shield on his opposite arm. The combination brings together two of the familiar Anti-Eternia He-Man weapons with MHA’s custom armor.

The unmasked head returns for a closer view of AE MHA raising the black sword. The gray hair, red eyes, darkened face, and silver-gray beard contrast with the white armor and its red star emblem.

Figure Comparisons
One thing I really wanted to do was put Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade alongside the original figure, and man, these two look fantastic together!
The contrast between them is striking. The original MHA features the familiar blue, red, and white color scheme, while AE MHA goes in a completely different direction with black, white, red, and silver. I especially love how the armor designs share the same basic styling, but the different paint applications give each figure its own personality.
And having both the masked and unmasked heads makes these comparisons even better! Seeing the two versions side by side really highlights the work that went into creating the Anti-Eternia counterpart, from the red eyes and darker appearance to the matching star emblems on the chest armor and wrist guards.
I loved the original release, and I’m thrilled to have both versions together in my collection!
Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade stands alongside the original Mr. Home Arcade, both displaying their unmasked head sculpts. The comparison highlights AE MHA’s black body, white armor, red star emblems, and gray skin against the original figure’s blue armor, white stars, and more traditional heroic colors. I especially love how different the two characters look despite sharing so many design elements!

Both figures wear their masked heads, giving us a great look at the differences between the two designs. AE MHA features a black mask with a red forehead emblem, silver-gray beard, and white armor, while the original sports a blue mask with a white star, white beard, and blue armor. Seeing them together really shows how effectively the Anti-Eternia colors transform the original design!

Collector Cards
As if the figure, packaging, and accessories weren’t enough, MHA also included a set of five collector cards! Four of the cards feature characters from the original Mr. Home Arcade release, while the fifth introduces Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade.
I love that MHA carried these cards over into the new release because they help connect the two figures and expand on the little world he’s created around them. And the illustrations are fantastic!
What I especially appreciate is that each card comes individually protected in a rigid plastic sleeve. That’s another thoughtful touch because these aren’t just loose cards thrown into the box. They’re something collectors can preserve and display alongside the figures.
The new Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade card is obviously the highlight for me. I love seeing the character represented in this format, particularly with the black, white, and red color scheme that carries through the entire release.
The new Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade collector card features a striking illustration of the character with his black mask, red eyes, white armor, and red accents. I love how Danoartist captured the darker Anti-Eternia design, and MHA even included a rigid plastic protector to keep the card safe!

The reverse of the new Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade card explains the character’s backstory. An older Anti-Eternia He-Man travels into the past, steals Mr. Home Arcade’s gear, and disguises himself before joining forces with the Anti-Eternia He-Man of that timeline. The card is individually protected in its own rigid plastic sleeve.

The four returning collector cards feature Drunk He-Man, Anti-Eternia He-Man Arcade, and two Mr. Home Arcade illustrations. I love seeing the different character designs together, and each card has its own rigid plastic protector rather than being left loose in the package!

The backs of the four returning cards include individual character biographies that expand on the Mr. Home Arcade storyline. From Drunk He-Man and Anti-Eternia He-Man Arcade to the two Mr. Home Arcade cards, there’s plenty of lore here to read through, and every card is protected in its own rigid plastic sleeve.

Mini Comic
Now this is something I absolutely love about MHA’s custom figures. He doesn’t just give us an action figure. He creates an entire story around the character, complete with an original mini comic! And this time, things get pretty crazy!
The new six-page mini comic, Darkness and Deceit, features illustrations by Danoartist, a story written by MHA and Danoartist, and colors by Val Staples. I love that these guys went through the effort of creating something original rather than simply including a generic character biography.
And the story itself? It’s a wild one!
It begins with an older Anti-Eternia He-Man traveling back in time after his previous plans for gaining power have failed. He returns to the moment when Mr. Home Arcade infiltrates Castle Hellskull, but this time, things take a very different turn. The older Anti-Eternia He-Man ambushes MHA, steals his armor, and disguises himself as Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade. From there, he joins forces with the Anti-Eternia He-Man of that timeline, convincing him to travel across the multiverse and eliminate other versions of He-Man to increase their power.
But that’s only part of his plan!
His real objective is to gather villains from across the multiverse and make every version of Mr. Home Arcade suffer. It’s an interesting twist because the figure we’re reviewing isn’t simply an evil version of MHA. It’s actually an older Anti-Eternia He-Man impersonating him!
I really appreciate how much effort went into this little comic. The illustrations are fantastic, the story expands on MHA’s existing universe, and it gives the custom figure a backstory that makes it even more interesting to collect.
And the story isn’t finished! The adventure is set to continue in The Omega Sacrifice, giving collectors another chapter to look forward to.
The front cover of Darkness and Deceit features a dramatic illustration of Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade, with the comic’s title prominently displayed above the character. The back cover continues the custom Masters of the Universe presentation, tying the comic visually to the figure’s packaging and collector cards.

The opening pages establish the altered timeline as an older Anti-Eternia He-Man returns to Castle Hellskull and ambushes Mr. Home Arcade. The illustrations show how the stolen armor becomes part of his new disguise.

The middle pages follow the disguised Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade as he confronts the Anti-Eternia He-Man of this timeline and proposes an alliance. The story moves into their journey across different universes as they target other versions of He-Man.

The final pages reveal the larger scheme involving villains gathered from across the multiverse, setting up the next chapter of the story. The closing panels lead into The Omega Sacrifice, leaving the conflict between the different versions of Mr. Home Arcade unresolved.

Overall Impressions
I absolutely love this figure! And while I might be a little biased because MHA is a good friend of mine, that doesn’t take away from how impressed I am with what he and his collaborators have accomplished.
I purchased the original Mr. Home Arcade figure earlier this year and loved it, but I think this Anti-Eternia version takes things to another level. The black, white, and red color scheme looks fantastic, and the custom head sculpt, matching symbols on the armor and wrist guards, and silver paint applications make this one of my favorite custom MOTU Origins figures.
And it’s not just the figure itself that makes this release special. The custom blaster with its glow-in-the-dark blast effect, the incredible packaging illustrations by Danoartist, the collector cards, and the original Darkness and Deceit mini comic all add something to the experience. I especially appreciate that MHA didn’t cut corners when it came to protecting everything, from the carded figure to the individual collector cards.
What impresses me most, though, is the amount of work that went into this project. Creating a custom action figure is one thing, but developing the character, designing the packaging, producing an original mini comic, and coordinating contributions from several talented people is quite another. I know how passionate MHA is about Masters of the Universe, and seeing that passion translated into something like this is pretty awesome.
I’m genuinely thrilled to have Anti-Eternia Mr. Home Arcade alongside the original figure in my collection. Congratulations to MHA and everyone who worked so hard on this release. You guys did an incredible job!
