Battle Armor He-Man & Trap Jaw MOTU Mighty Masters In-Hand Images

We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and now we’ve got a much closer look at what Wave 2 of the Mighty Masters line is bringing to the table, thanks to Masterversal Toyhunter on Instagram who came through with some fantastic in-hand images of both Battle Armor He-Man and Trap Jaw. After getting our first glimpse of these figures through the in-package images that surfaced earlier, seeing them out of the packaging and up close really lets you appreciate what this mini figure line is doing with two of the most iconic designs in all of Masters of the Universe. Battle Armor He-Man looks great in hand, with that classic chest armor front and center and the overall proportions carrying that chunky, stylized energy that makes the Mighty Masters format work so well at this scale. Trap Jaw, meanwhile, is one of those characters who was practically made for this kind of treatment, and from what we can see here the articulated jaw, the mechanical arm, and that signature helmet all read clearly and cleanly even in miniature form. I love how these two together represent such a strong pairing for the wave, giving collectors both a core hero variant and one of the most visually distinct villains in the entire lineup. The Mighty Masters line continues to hit the sweet spot between collectibility and that nostalgic charm that hooks you the moment you see them on the pegs, and these in-hand shots confirm that Wave 2 is shaping up nicely.

BA He-Man and Trap Jaw

Both Battle Armor He-Man and Trap Jaw are shown in-hand in their Mighty Masters packaging, each displayed through an open window box with a red and dark metallic card design. The squat, stylized proportions of the Mighty Masters format are on full display here, with He-Man’s silver chest armor and Trap Jaw’s signature pink helmet and green face clearly readable even at this small scale.

Out of the packaging, these two have a nice chunky feel to them in-hand. Trap Jaw’s oversized cannon arm and black boots contrast well against his blue body, while He-Man’s silver chest armor with the iron cross emblem and brown boots have a clean look at this scale.

The side panels of both boxes show the contents illustrations on yellow squares, with each figure depicted alongside its included accessory. Nice to have these in-hand and see how the packaging compares side by side.

The side artwork on both boxes has a great painterly quality to it, with He-Man in his battle armor against a green and stone backdrop and Trap Jaw in full gear set against a fiery, cosmic scene. Having these in-hand, the box art alone feels like a nice little collectible.

From the back, He-Man’s silver chest armor has sculpted vertical ridge detail, and his orange wrist cuffs and brown boots carry the deco all the way around. Trap Jaw’s mechanical arm has a segmented sculpt with a connector running down to the claw attachment, a cool little detail you don’t always get at this scale.

Battle Armor He-Man

MOTU Mighty Masters In Hand wears a gray chest armor piece with a red iron cross deco on the front, paired with orange wrist cuffs and brown boots with sculpted buckle detail. A double-bladed battle axe sits alongside him as his included accessory.

From the back, the in-hand look at Battle Armor He-Man shows his blond hair sculpt sitting cleanly above the silver armor, with the brown fur trunks and boot straps rounding out the rear deco. He’s holding his Power Sword, and those orange wrist cuffs really pop against the skin tone at this scale.

The battle axe has a nice double-headed sculpt with ridged detail along the handle, and getting an in-hand look at it really shows how chunky and satisfying the accessory feels relative to the figure’s proportions. The brown boots have a tall, segmented cuff sculpt that wraps around the shins.

That head sculpt is really solid for this scale, with the furrowed brow and gritted teeth giving He-Man a fierce expression that reads well in-hand. The iron cross emblem on his silver chest armor has a clean sculpted border, and his blond hair has a nice smooth, pageboy-style sculpt framing the face.

Two versions of He-Man side by side give a great in-hand look at the Mighty Masters style, with the figure on the left wearing silver chest armor and the one on the right sporting his classic blue harness with the red iron cross. Each carries a different Power Sword sculpt, one smaller and compact, the other larger with a broader blade profile.

Man-At-Arms sits between two He-Man variants for a nice in-hand look at how Wave 2 scales alongside Wave 1, and the three share that same satisfying squat proportion across the board. Man-At-Arms stands out with his green and orange color blocking and that helmeted head sculpt with a sculpted mustache, fitting right in with the Mighty Masters aesthetic.

Trap Jaw

Trap Jaw comes with a separate green belt piece that sits nearby, and getting an in-hand look at it shows it has a sculpted texture along its surface. His large multi-barrel cannon has a solid, weighty sculpt with grip detailing that holds up nicely when you’re turning the figure over in your hands.

Trap Jaw’s green face has a nice open-mouth sculpt with a row of teeth and that characteristic jawline peeking out from the pink helmet, and this in-hand close-up really lets you appreciate how much character they packed into such a small head sculpt. The jaw is also on a hinge so you can open and close it. The shoulder armor piece sits snugly over the blue torso, with the cannon arm’s barrel and mechanical framework filling out the rest of the frame.

From the back, this in-hand look at Trap Jaw shows the pink helmet with a small loop at the top, and the yellow belt wraps cleanly around the waist separating the blue torso from the pink trunks. His mechanical arm carries a chunky cannon attachment with a barrel and grip detail that has some real heft to it in-hand.

Trap Jaw’s green face and yellow eyes peek out from under that pink helmet, and getting an in-hand look really shows how well the cannon-to-claw arm assembly holds together as one cohesive piece.

Trap Jaw’s cannon arm dominates from this angle, with the barrel opening and the chain dangling down to the claw hook getting a nice in-hand showcase. The pink helmet loop at the top and the yellow-green wrist cuff on his free hand are small touches that really come through when you’ve got the figure in front of you.

Trap Jaw’s full in-hand look shows off the complete color spread, with that blue body, pink helmet and trunks, yellow belt with its skull emblem, and the chunky black boots all coming together in one satisfying little package. The cannon arm has real presence even at this compact Mighty Masters scale.

Skeletor, Trap Jaw, and Beast Man make up this trio of Mighty Masters, each carrying their signature accessories: a staff topped with a ram skull, a blaster, and a whip. The chunky, simplified sculpts lean into that classic vintage aesthetic, with bold, saturated colors that nail the original toy palette.
