Roy Juarez has just released the hi-res card for the MOTU Origins Mattel Creations exclusive Demo-Man! The art shows the amazing artwork of Axel Gimenez and the art is amazing! In an Instagram post, he said:

The artwork is absolutely stunning has the skeletons are brought to life with Axel’s amazing talent! You can see them breaking away from the chains as they surround Demo-Man.

Demo-Man MOTU Origins Preorder

The Mattel Creations launch calendar finally refreshed for the month of September, which is bringing the MOTU Origins Demo-Man to the line! The figure, revealed back in March 2024 and showcased at San Diego Comic Con 2024, will be launching Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 9am PT / Noon ET. We now have all the official images and Preorder link for you right HERE! So let’s take a look at the MOTU Origins Mattel Creations Exclusive Demo-Man Official Images & Preorder info!

We get to see Demo Man in all his Preternia glory! The details on his shoulder armor look incredible! Also you can see the amazing detail in his garb as well as they made the plastic look like actual cloth!

Below we can see the packout included with Demo Man, you get the bent spiked mace and scabbered sword plus the two additional heads!

Here we get to see the two alternate heads that Demo Man comes packed with. You get an Alcala Skeletor head and also a Skeleton Warrior head! How cool are these!

Let’s take a closer look at the packaging for Demo Man! He comes in the premium packaging that allows you to open the slip cover off and redisplay him if you so choose! You can see the front of the package features Demo Man with the two additional heads displayed in the bubble. The rear features Demo Man battling some ancient Skeleton Warriors!

Demo-Man SDCC 2024

Geldor and Demo-Man, who were revealed back in March 2024, were on display in the MOTU booth and they both have a Fall 2024. We don’t know where Geldor falls in the lineup but it’s great to see Demo-Man coming!

Revealed originally on March 21, 2024 at the Mattel Creations live stream reveal event, it was announced that Demo-Man was getting a Masters of the Universe Origins figure treatment was to be released in Fall 2024. These figures will come with either a shared mini comic, or individual mini comics, that should expand the lore of Geldor specifically but hopefully we will have some focus on Demo-Man.

MOTU Reveal Live Stream Recap

During Mattel’s “Reveal” live stream, they highlighted 3 new figures that are coming to the Masterverse and MOTU Origins lines! The figures included Geldor and Demo-Man for the MOTU Origins line and a larger than life Masterverse New Eternia Horde Trooper!

Demo-Man

The team also had a produced figure for Demo-Man! He first made his appearance in the MOTU Classics line and we are also getting him in Origins! According to his MOTU Classics bio, “Realizing his pupil Keldor had no intention of releasing him from Despondos, Hordak merged him with an extra-dimensional being called Demo-Man. While this saved Keldor’s life, it also drove him temporarily insane and convinced him to open a portal to Despondos and lead what he thought were “his people” into Eternia. Hordak intended to use this ruse as a means to escape once the portal was opened, but the new merged being “Skeletor” was quickly defeated by Oo-Larr, the Jungle He-Man, and Hordak remained trapped. Soon after, with the help of Evil-Lyn, Skeletor gained control of the powerful spirit inside him, increasing his abilities ten-fold. He was now the true Overlord of Evil and one of the most dangerous men on Eternia!”
