Heavy Duty and Cobra Defense Perimeter & Trench Viper GI Joe Classified Series Preorders

Revealed at London Comic Con 2024, the Hasbro Pulse exclusive GI Joe Classified Series Cobra Defense Perimeter & Trench Viper and Heavy Duty, who was name only revealed at SDCC 2024, go up for preorder starting at 10am PT / 1pm ET. The Cobra Defense Perimeter & Trench Viper will only be available on Hasbro Pulse while the deluxe Heavy Duty will be a mainline release!

Heavy Duty Official Images

Heavy Duty’s trademark was filed for renewal back in July 2023, he was also announced as a name only reveal at SDCC 2024! Flash forward to London Comic Con 2024, they flashed one official image and his file card and, thanks to the thefullforcepodcast, we have official images of the figure and looks outstanding! Heavy Duty is featured in the deluxe GI Joe Classified Series window display box that features his rocket launcher wearable and his alternate head sculpt packed in full view! The Joes are finally getting some firepower to suppress the likes of the Iron Grenadiers Metal-Head so watch out!

Up close we can see the lime green rockets, which pay homage to his vintage figure loadoout, and how they look with the blast effects as they are exiting the shoulder mounted rocket launcher. The launcher is very versatile as it can mount on his shoulder or be positioned below as Heavy Duty grabs the controls! His chest plate from his mechsuit is scarred and pitted with bullet holes, giving it a realistic affect.

He is pictured with his baseball hat backwards head sculpts, which was how the vintage figure was designed so it is nice to see that element retained in his figure design. The dio shot shows Heavy Duty running with his rocket launchers as he gets into position to deliver the payload. There is also an articulated site that can maneuver over his eye, which will make a very cool way to display this figure!

He is pictured with his alternate head sculpt without his baseball cap as he is looking at his time piece as he gets ready ready to deploy the payload! The side mounted rocket luanchers can detach and he can carry one of them and position it on his shoulder! He also comes with headphones to give his hatless head sculpt some more options to work with!

Heavy Duty’s loadout is outstanding as he comes with 8 rockets with accompanying blast effects, 2 knives, a headset, headphones, two extra fists, an alternate head sculpt, and his rocket launcher suit!

Cobra Defense Perimeter w/ Trench Viper

Previously revealed at New York Comic Con 2024

This bunker is small and pretty unassuming but it’s pretty cool to see a playset harken back to the Cobra Surveillance Port in a new way. Here is a closer look at the Trench Viper and the digital style paint app like Shockwave looks fantastic!

Here is the official digital render reveal posted by thegreattonino! He posted on his Instagram: “GI Joe Classified Cobra Perimeter and Trench Viper! More info on this will be revealed as we get further into the next stages, but here’s a look at classifieds first real venture into something of a diorama piece. As you may have seen in the panel, these bases can be stacked together to expand out and up. The more you acquire, the bigger your defense grid becomes.”

He continues, “I love how the Trench Viper came out as well. The deep navy blues with the black and white digital camo makes this guy super intimidating.”
