GI Joe Classified Series SDCC 2024 Booth, Panel Reveals, and Preorder Info

It was a great showing from the GI Joe team as they revealed preorders, new digital renders, name only reveals, and launched their Cobra Rattler HasLab at SDCC 2024!

In addition to the slides they showed, they also posted official images of the figures that were digital render revealed and they put the figures in their booth on display. GI Joe SDCC 2024 reveals from the Classified Series & the Transformers crossover lines plus the launch of the Cobra Rattler HasLab!

Cobra Rattler HasLab

The GI Joe panel kicked off with the amazing video of the Cobra Rattler HasLab! They also posted the following on their Instagram page:

GI Joe Classified Series Digital Render Reveals

Leatherneck, Zandar, and the Cobra Claw were digital render revealed at the SDCC 2024 panel!

Leatherneck

Leatherneck is a nod to his vintage figure design and he features goggles, his classic backpack, and weapons packout.

Zandar

The Zartan and Zarrana family is complete with the addition of Zandar to the line. The essence of Zandar’s classic nature is retained while giving him an updated look and feel that only the GI Joe Classified Series can do.

Cobra CLAW

The Cobra CLAW was an amazing surprise! Per @thefullforcepodcast this will be a Pulse Exclusive. Per @atoykindamood ‘s interview at SDCC with Lenny and Tony, this will be pretty wide with a large wingspan.

Showing the CLAW with a trooper strapped to it, you can get a sense of how large this small form factor vehicle will be!

Love this promo shot for the CLAW and a pipe dream would to actually get a Classified scale GI Joe base.

GI Joe Classified Series Reveals and Preorder Info

Some cool figures were revealed and also placed in the Hasbro booth, including Road Pig, Raptor, Steel Corps Commander vs. Twilight Guard 2-pack, and 60th Anniversary Action Marine – Sniper and Action Pilot – HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) Jumper.

Steel Corps Commander vs. Twilight Guard

The Steel Corps figure was teased on the Iron Grenadier box art and the Twilight Guard is a new character using the Crimson Guard figure design. The Twilight Guard has a purple and black color scheme and looks like a black ops figure.

Starduster

Revealed at GI Joe breakfast earlier in the day, Starduster made an appearance in the GI Joe booth!

Huge thanks to @MattGuzy for sending pics to baldylockz_reviewz as we see the GI Joe Classified Series Starduster on display. A Hasbro Pulse exclusive, Star Duster was on the name only reveal list and it is great to see him in plastic. Starduster is a throwback to the vintage figure and he looks awesome in his classic colors!

He also comes with a helmet like a lot of the other GI Joe Classified Series figures of late, which makes sense because he has a jet pack.

He also comes with a mini cereal box!

We can see the Cobra FANG teased on his box, which will make an amazing small form factor vehicle.

Starduster makes his G.I. Joe Classified debut as the 136th figure in this popular line. The figure includes a Steel Corps helmet, visored helmet, binoculars, 4 alternate hands, knife, J.U.M.P. jetpack with 2 removable blast effects, and 3 weapon accessories. It comes packaged inside a special Action Mission Box.

Here is Starduster all geared up with this jetpack and blast effects look amazing!

His visor is a nod to the vintage figure and it’s a cool smokey black color!

Night Force Falcon and Quarrel

This Night Force Falcon and Quarrel was a Walmart Collector Con July 2024 exclusive and it was cool to see the figures displayed in the booth!

Here are a couple images of Quarrel with and without her helmet, which they are making a lot of use of lately!

Falcon looks great with and without his helmet and his updated head sculpt looks so much better!

A huge surprise coming from Walmart Collector Con 2024 with the Night Force Falcon and Quarrel GI Joe Classified Series 2-pack, bringing a new figure to the line! The Night Force GI Joe Classified Series subline is a Walmart exclusive and this set is mostly a repaint and repack of figures that have been previously released. It looks like they “fixed” Falcon’s head sculpt and they added a new head sculpt for Quarrel using Scarlett’s buck with some modifications to the armor. We thought this figure set was teased in the Iron Grenadier dio shots but they are totally different so we have more Night Force figures to look forward to! This Night Force Falcon and Quarrel GI Joe Classified Series 2-pack is awesome and it will surely build up for Classified Series display!

New to the G.I. Joe Classified Series line, Night Force Vincent R. “Falcon” Falcone & Quarrel come ready for adventure, with multiple points of articulation for high poseability. This Falcon figure contains character-inspired accessory pieces including alternate helmeted head, backpack, 2 flashlights, knife, night-vision goggles, and multiple weapon accessories; plus a new face sculpt and his signature beret. Dio Shots

We can see some amazing dio shots with Falcon and Quarrel and they look amazing all geared up!

Quarrel was available in the United Kingdom and Europe in 1983 from the Palitoy toy company. She was available packaged with the Action Force Z-Force Rapid Fire Motorcycle – a repaint of the American release of the RAM. She looks amazing and it’s awesome they are doing more international variants! You can also see them with their helmets on in this cool mountain recon scene.

Surrounded by Mole Rats, Falcon and Quarrel can make quick work of them!

Name Only Reveals

There were five name only reveals and the Joe team went rapid through them! There were two mainline and three Retrocardback reveals.

Lenny said that Order will be inspired by the vintage design and if there is anything that was not realized in Heavy Duty’s vintage design, it will be in the Classified Series!

Three Retro Cardback figures were dropped as Rock N Roll, Dr. Mindbender, and the Cobra Viper will be joining the ranks!

SGT. Slaughter and Kup Triple T GI Joe Transformers Crossover

Last week we reported on an update from Terry, The Island Viper, as he reported that he was waiting on two Transformers crossover collaboration set and the details to be released to him so he can order them. This is total speculation on The Island Viper‘s part (and on our part) but hopefully the details are GI Joe related. The only GI Joe Transformers crossover sets that are rumored are the Kup Triple T and MOBAT Optimus Prime, which have been confirmed by multiple sources and were originally reported by It’s Chad last year. Putting two and two together, SGT. Slaughter Tweeted that he will be in the Hasbro Booth, ” “@thePaulArmes On THURSDAY July 25th At SDCC I Will Be Exclusively Front & Center At Fort @Hasbro Headquarters For A High Priority Announcement Called “OPERATION SLAUGHTER”🫡Now YOU Know & Knowing Is Half The Battle‼️YO⭐️JOE👍🏻Don’t Miss It & That’s An Order🫵🏻.” We are hoping this message means that SGT. Slaughter himself will be revealing the Triple T Kup GI Joe Transformers Crossover with SGT. Slaughter + Leatherneck set at SDCC 2024 so stay tuned!

The Sarge fulfilled his promise and made a special guest appearance on the panel to announce the set!

The set looks exactly like the vintage design and it will be so cool to add a couple more o-ring figures to the line!

The packaging is the GI Joe Transformers crossover style and here is an up close shot of the Triple T, Sarge, and Leatherneck from the panel.
