Who ya gonna call? Huge thanks to @preterniadotcom for posting the first look at this one, boy are we thrilled! We previously reported on this reveal at NYCC 2025! But now, Hasbro has officially revealed the San Diego Comic Con 2026 exclusive Kenner Classics The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-Glow Copter Vehicle with Louis Tully and a glow in the dark Meanie Weenie Ghost, and I can’t be more excited about this one! The Real Ghostbusters Kenner Classics line continues to be such a treat for fans who grew up with the originals, and seeing Louis Tully get the spotlight here is really cool. Louis was always one of my favorite characters and pairing him with the Ecto Copter in that classic Kenner style is so much fun. And a glow in the dark Meanie Weenie Ghost? How freakin’ cute is that?! The set will be priced at $67.99 and available at the Hasbro booth during SDCC, with availability on Hasbro Pulse after the show for those of us who can’t make it to San Diego. Be sure to also check out our in hand look at the new Ecto Glow Ecto-1 as well! So let’s take a look at the Ecto Copter and Luis Tully The Real Ghostbusters Kenner Classics SDCC 2026 Exclusive!
Louis Tully’s flight suit has a great retro charm to it, with blue and orange accents breaking up the glow-in-the-dark cream base, and his name stamped right across the chest in bold blue lettering. The oversized glasses and slightly awkward grin on his face sculpt absolutely nail the character. The Ecto-Glow Copter is a fun little vehicle, with a mix of red, black, and cream panels, black treaded wheels up front, and a larger rear wheel with a hub detail. A yellow steering column with an octopus-shaped yoke sits in front of the open seat, and a tall pole extends up to a glow-in-the-dark rotor canopy. I like how the Meanie Weenie Ghost is this simple, blobby little cylinder shape with stubby arms and bright green eyes, molded entirely in that same glow-in-the-dark plastic. He’s got a wonderfully goofy presence next to the vehicle. Louis comes equipped with a proton pack that features a long, flexible pink hose running down to a neutrona wand, plus a separate pale green stream accessory that whips up and away from the pack. Something I appreciate here is how faithful the whole set feels to the original Kenner aesthetic, from the slightly exaggerated proportions to the toy-forward color choices.

Here’s a closer look at the whole set in action, with Louis Tully lifted high aboard the Ecto-Glow Copter while the Meanie Weenie Ghost lurks below, and there’s a fun sense of chaos to the whole scene. An orange trap accessory tumbles loose beneath the vehicle, its sculpted ghost emblem on the lid adding a nice little detail I hadn’t noticed before.

You can see how the glow-in-the-dark plastic really transforms the whole set when the lights go out, with Louis, the Meanie Weenie Ghost, and the copter’s body all radiating that eerie green luminescence. The orange and yellow elements on the vehicle pop against all that ghostly glow, and the little details on Louis’s glasses and face sculpt hold up surprisingly well even in the dark.

Here are some fun shots showing the Ecto-Glow Copter and its glow-in-the-dark crew let loose in a detailed miniature city diorama, surrounded by a whole roster of ghostly figures including upcoming Ecto Glow Stay Puft & Slimmer, and the Ecto Glow Ecto-1 below. The scene is packed with glow-in-the-dark ghosts scattered across the street and peeking out of windows, and it’s cool to see how well Louis and the copter fit right into this larger Real Ghostbusters display.
