Evil-Lyn MOTU Chronicles Packaging Official Image Reveal

We’ve been tracking the MOTU Chronicles Evil-Lyn figure since she first appeared in plastic form at Spielwarenmesse 2026, and then again when Alison Brie’s unboxing gave us a glimpse of the box front, but now we finally have the official packaging image and it delivers a much cleaner, more detailed look at both the production figure and the overall presentation of the box art. When we saw those unboxing from Alison Brie, there was already a lot to like about how Mattel was translating these movie designs into figure form, and this official packaging shot confirms that the final product is looking sharp. The figure sits nicely in the window with her staff and headdress clearly visible, and the card art frames her with the kind of dark, mystical energy that fits the character perfectly. I love how the Chronicles packaging line has its own distinct identity while still feeling connected to the broader Masters of the Universe brand, and Evil-Lyn’s presentation here really leans into the sorcerous side of her character in a way that feels intentional and well considered. The color palette on the figure itself appears to match closely with what we saw in the earlier reveals, which is reassuring for collectors who were already on the fence about preordering based on prototype shots. It’s one thing to see a figure loose on a display table at a toy fair and another to see it framed in its final retail packaging, and this image bridges that gap nicely.

Official Front

The box front features a dark, purple-toned cosmic backdrop with illustrated artwork of Evil-Lyn on the left side, her spiked crown and armor rendered in sharp detail. Inside the window, the figure is displayed alongside a staff topped with crystal ball. She also has some extra spell casting hands, which go along perfectly with her!

Evil-Lyn

Evil-Lyn’s box is shown in hand for the first time, and I immediately notice how the purple heavy color palette dominates the front panel and frames the figure inside the window. The character artwork running along the side adds a nice visual anchor, giving a clear look at the movie styling while the figure stands centered with accessories laid out cleanly beside her. Seeing the packaging handled like this makes the scale and presentation feel more real, with the figure sitting deep in the tray and the overall layout reading sharp rather than overly busy.

Evil-Lyn is shown partway out of the packaging, with the inner tray angled just enough to reveal the figure still cradled in the plastic shell. I’m noticing how the dark outfit and headpiece read immediately against the clear tray, giving a strong first look at the silhouette before she’s fully removed. The way she’s seated in the insert highlights how snugly everything is held in place, and it gives a natural preview of the proportions and sculpt without the figure being posed or adjusted yet.

I’m diggin’ the head sculpt and upper body here, with the crown-like headpiece framing the face and creating a sharp silhouette from the side and straight on. The facial paint reads clean in hand, with defined eyes and lips that hold up under natural lighting, and the skin tone feels consistent across the face and arms. The staff adds a strong vertical element, with a twisted shaft and a translucent purple orb at the top that catches the light and gives it a subtle glow effect without overpowering the sculpt.

What stands out next is the armor and lower body detailing, especially the layered textures running across the torso and thighs that feel carved rather than smooth. I like how the dark paint finishes break up the surfaces, letting the sculpted patterns show through instead of getting lost. The cape drapes behind her with a soft fold that frames the figure nicely when held, and seeing it handled like this makes the proportions and balance feel natural rather than stiff or overly posed.

Evil Lyn is displayed alongside her accessories, wearing an intricate silver and blue armor corset with a spiked crown headpiece and a deep blue cape that drapes to the ground. She comes with a twisted silver staff topped with a large blue orb, plus a pair of swap-out open hands with sculpted rings on the fingers.

The tall black boots have a matte finish with a slight heel, and the blue flame-like patterning on her leggings carries nicely into the darker tones of the armor above. Her spiked collar and shoulder armor have a layered, almost organic texture to the sculpt.

The soft goods cape has real flow to it, with the blue fabric catching movement nicely in this posed shot. Her spell-casting hands have great finger separation, and that head sculpt captures a sharp, focused expression.

Evil Lyn grips her staff with both hands, and the twisted metallic shaft has a nice sense of weight to it, tapering down to a pointed end. The gold rings on her fingers catch against the dark sculpt of the staff, adding a small but welcome detail at this scale.

The blue orb atop the staff has a glossy, almost glass-like finish that contrasts well with the matte silver of the twisted shaft beneath it. That head sculpt is really solid, with the crown’s spindly spikes framing her face without overwhelming it.
