Battle of Eternia MOTU Core Playset Target Street Date

I saw it with my own eyes today and I still can’t quite believe it. The Battle of Eternia 2-in-1 Core Playset, which many of us assumed was locked in as a Walmart exclusive, is showing up in Target’s system with a street date of July 19, 2026. This is a huge deal for collectors who have been following this set since it was first revealed, because the reality of Walmart exclusivity is something we all know too well: inconsistent stock, limited availability depending on your region, and that general feeling of rolling the dice every time you check the app or walk into a store. The fact that Target is going to carry this playset opens up a much wider path for collectors to actually get their hands on it in person, which is exactly what a set like this deserves. We’ve covered this playset extensively here at ToyHabits, from the initial reveal through the preorder window and even our full in-hand review by the Toy Sorceress and diorama behind the scenes, so we know firsthand how impressive it is and how much it means to the MOTU Origins line. Now, your Target may vary when it comes to actually seeing it on the shelf, because street dates and store inventory don’t always line up perfectly, but the fact that the set is branching out beyond a single retailer is great news all around. Wider distribution means more collectors can experience this set without the headache, and that’s a win for the hobby. July 19 is the date to circle on your calendars, and I’d recommend keeping an eye on your local Target as that window approaches.

Battle for Eternia Playset At Target

A stack of boxed products sits on a pallet, and right in the middle of the pile is the Battle For Eternia Playset, its wide box sandwiched between a Star Wars vehicle box above and shipping cartons below.

A Target PDA displays the inventory listing for the Battle For Eternia Playset, showing the DPCI number 087 26 3851 and a price of $86.99. The screen shows 2 units on hand with 0 currently on the floor, and a street date of July 19 flagged in red at the top of the listing. Needless to say, they DID NOT let me buy it.

Packaging

The box artwork on the Battle for Eternia playset is absolutely stunning, splitting the scene between a fiery orange Castle Grayskull on the left and a menacing, purple-drenched Snake Mountain on the right. I like how the illustration captures He-Man charging into battle atop Battle Cat while Skeletor looms on the opposing side, with lightning crackling between the two factions and the entire composition feeling like a painted movie poster. Then you can see Man at Arms, Roboto, Teela and Mekaneck on the Heroic Warriors side. The Evil Warriors side features illustrations of Trap Jaw, Beast Man and a Skeleknight at the Snake Mountain gate.

The back of the box leans into that same fiery orange palette, with a sprawling diorama photo showing the full playset populated with figures battling across multiple levels, from the red staircase and gated dungeon on the left to the towering stone entryway on the right. Inset photos along the edges highlight the lift-gate feature and how Snake Mountain and Castle Grayskull connect and lock together for storage, which is a nice touch for anyone short on shelf space.

The side panel artwork goes all in on Skeletor, with a massive hooded skull looming overhead, one eye glowing a sinister red, while crackling energy radiates from a clawed hand below. You can see Goat Man standing on a rocky outcrop beneath him wielding a battle axe, and the deep purple and magenta tones across the whole panel give this side of the box a completely different mood from the fiery orange Grayskull side.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 6

Here’s a closer look at the opposite side panel, which gives He-Man his moment with a tight portrait showing his tousled blonde hair and a steely, determined expression lit by warm amber tones. A smaller illustration of Ram Man charges across a rocky ledge below, fist cocked and armor gleaming, tying this panel to the heroic faction in a way that mirrors how Skeletor’s side featured its own warrior companion.

Here we can see the yet to be released Core series Tri-Klops. Clad in dark green layered armor with segmented leg wraps and a rounded helmet featuring a single red optical lens, Tri-Klops sits perched atop the gold tower gives off serious sci-fi mercenary energy. Mekaneck in his red-helmet and blue and crimson armor with bright green triangular eye slits, and the two figures together show how well the Snake Mountain side accommodates multi-level displays.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 4

Here are some fun shots of the Goat Man bursting through the dungeon gate, with curling ram horns and snarling fangs that make him feel like a proper dungeon guardian. Then you can see the yet to be released Core Class Ram Man squaring off against him, sporting his silver helmet and dark bracers. You can also spot Skeletor lurking in the lower left corner, adding a nice sense of chaos to the whole scene.

Here’s a look at what you’ll find once you crack open the box, with all the playset components nested inside the two sides of the playset split between a deep purple Snake Mountain shell and a greyish brown Castle Grayskull shell, each doubling as the structural halves of the finished build. Several pieces are still wrapped in tissue paper and branded red packaging bags, but you can already spot the red staircase, the olive-green portcullis gate, and what appears to be one of the gold throne elements peeking out from between layers.

Playset Details

Here are some fun shots of the full Battle for Eternia playset with both halves connected, and you can really appreciate how the tan stone of Castle Grayskull transitions into the deep purple volcanic rock of Snake Mountain, creating two completely different environments that still feel like one cohesive battlefield. Man at Arms guards the left tower and Mekaneck the right tower of Castle Grayskull. While Beast Man crouches near the Snake Mountain entrance alongside Trap Jaw, and He-Man with Battle Cat holding the center ground between them sells the tug-of-war energy this whole setup was designed around.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 12

The massive skull facade of Castle Grayskull is the real centerpiece here, with deep-set hollow eye sockets, a triangular nasal cavity, and jagged fangs that hang down over the brown double-door gate of the Jaw Bridge like the whole entrance is one giant maw waiting to swallow you whole. I like how the teal trident symbol crowning the forehead and those faded reddish splotches along the cheekbones add just enough color to break up the otherwise uniform stone gray, keeping things from looking too monotone across all that brick-textured surface.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 9

You can see how the gold triangular sword pedestal inside Castle Grayskull catches your attention immediately, just past the Jawbridge is the Power Sword alter covered in intricate etched patterns that give it a genuinely regal feel. He-Man standing just outside the arched entryway, flanked by those signature fang-like spires overhead and spiked railings along the walkway, really sells the scale of this playset. You can see you can open the Jaw Bridge with his power sword, just like on the vintage and Origins Castles!

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 10

He-Man looks great perched atop Battle Cat right on the Castle Grayskull Jawbridge, and the combination of the red armored helmet and green fur against that enormous skull facade behind them really hammers home just how massive this playset is. I like how the lowered Jawbridge with its riveted bolts and mechanical hinge detailing doubles as a perfect display platform, giving the whole setup a natural stage feel.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 11

Man-At-Arms and Mekaneck hold the ramparts above while Battle Cat charges through the lowered jawbridge door, his red armor and green fur creating a vivid splash of color against that weathered gray brickwork. Something I appreciate here is how the gold sword alter sits just past the door behind Battle Cat catch just enough light to remind you there’s a full interior throne room waiting beyond the entrance.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 13

Skeletor owns the Snake Mountain battlement here, with his deep purple cape draping over the serpent head’s sculpted horns and fleshy red nodules that dot the creature’s brow like volcanic blisters. Down at the gate, Trap Jaw’s cybernetic arm with its chrome prosthetic attachment contrasts sharply against Beast Man’s wild red mane and curved horns, and the iron portcullis chain dangling between them is a subtle little functional detail that’s easy to miss.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 14

Here we can see the new Gold and Black Skeletor that comes included with the playset. You can stand figures on the Snakes wide open mouth, and if you lift up the entrance gate, then lift up the snake mouth, the gate slams shut. Skeletor commands the upper platform with his Havoc Staff raised high, and the layered chevron pattern sculpted into his loincloth panels along with those ornate gold greaves really pop when you see him framed against the snake head’s gaping maw below. Trap Jaw’s massive silver mechanical arm with its cylindrical barrel attachment anchors the left side of the gate while Beast Man’s orange fur and teal waist wrap create a completely different visual texture on the right, showing how well this playset stages three villains at once without any of them competing for attention.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 15

This included gold and black version of Skeletor or Disco Skeletor as some like to call him, looks fantastic! Skeletor’s gold-trimmed shoulder pauldrons and matching forearm gauntlets have a rich, almost antiqued finish that pairs perfectly with the ornate belt buckle featuring a sculpted ram skull motif at his waist. The tattered loincloth panels hang with a convincing sense of weight, each strip tipped with small gold diamond accents, and those tall gold boots with their wrinkled, weathered texture complete the sorcerer-king look beautifully against the snake head’s crimson interior framing him from behind.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 22

He-Man’s silver chest armor with that red cross emblem pairs beautifully against the massive skull facade towering behind him, and Man-At-Arms up on the left turret with his orange chest plate and teal helmet adds a nice pop of complementary color at that height. Mekaneck holds the opposite tower in his red helmet and blue gauntlets, and the way Battle Cat’s red armor plating flows into those bright green claws at the base of the Jawbridge creates a striking color gradient that pulls your eye straight through the center of the whole display.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 16

He-Man and Battle Cat look great perched infront of the entrance to Castle Grayskull. The large Skull head facade looks incredible as a backdrop! I love how the eyes of the Skull are now cut outs for windows! He-Man’s Power Sword has a nice clean silver blade with a golden crossguard, and the way it catches against Battle Cat’s massive red helmet from this low perspective really emphasizes how imposing that sculpted feline headpiece is with its angular cheek guards and swept-back fin. Battle Cat’s open jaw reveals individually sculpted white fangs and a deep red mouth interior, and those bright green claws splayed across the brown drawbridge platform add a feral energy to the whole composition. You can see how the pair of figures stand nicely on the large opening of the open jaw bridge!

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 17

Man-At-Arms stands atop the Castle Grayskull tower with his orange chest armor and metallic blue helmet contrasting nicely against the tan stone brickwork of the turret’s crenellated parapet. His golden mace has a textured, globe-shaped head with swirling sculpted ridges, and the small orange pistol in his other hand adds a fun sci-fi touch to an otherwise medieval-looking fortification.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 18

Mekaneck looks right at home keeping watch up on the Castle Grayskull tower, with his segmented silver neck extension rising above the crenellated parapet and that red helmet with green triangular visor lenses giving him an almost insectoid look against the warm tan stonework. Mekaneck is standing on the elevator that rises up on the interior so you can use it as another turret platform. His red cage-style chest armor has an open lattice design that lets the blue bodysuit underneath show through, and those black gauntlets with their sculpted knuckle plates add a nice tactile contrast to all the smooth, brightly colored surfaces.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 19

The scale of the figures standing on the mouth of the snake at the second level of Snake Mountain is obviously too large for the size of the playset, but in order to make this to a realistic scale, this thing would need to be huge. So I give it up to Mattel for making a valiant effort and including this cool feature in the playset! Skeletor perches atop Snake Mountain’s serpent head with his Havoc Staff raised, and from this angle you can really appreciate how the snake’s coiled body wraps entirely around the fortress base, with every overlapping scale ridge and rocky fissure carved deep enough to cast its own shadow. Beast Man’s wild red mane and curved yellow horns create a perfect visual counterpoint to Trap Jaw’s sleek chrome prosthetic arm on the opposite side of the portcullis, and the dangling chain on that gate mechanism is one of those small functional details that rewards you every time you look closer.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 47

Trap Jaw’s massive cybernetic arm replacement is the real showpiece here, with its layered cylindrical barrel tapering down to a hooked claw tip that looks like it could punch through the portcullis behind him. He looks great standing watch beside the closed gate at the entrance to Snake Mountain! The brown leather strap crossing diagonally over his blue torso has sculpted rivets running its full length, and that deep purple ornamental belt with its embossed floral-pattern buckle adds an unexpectedly decorative touch to an otherwise brutish, industrial-looking villain.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 48

Beast Man stands watch on the other side of the gate. Beast Man’s massive red mane is loaded with individually sculpted fur strands that radiate outward from his snarling white face, and those pale yellow horns jutting from the top and sides give the whole head sculpt a wonderfully untamed, almost bison-like silhouette. Spiked black bracers wrap both wrists while matching spiked ankle cuffs sit just above those enormous clawed feet, and the teal loincloth with its ragged, torn hem strips adds a nice cool-toned break between all that warm orange fur texture covering his limbs.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 49

Skeletor’s yellow skull face peers out from beneath that deep purple hood, and the black hollows around his crimson eyes create an almost bottomless depth that makes the skull feel less like plastic and more like actual bone receding into shadow. The Havoc Staff’s ram skull topper with its turquoise gem and tightly wound silver horns looks especially imposing raised overhead against the massive serpent head’s fleshy orange-and-purple maw stretching wide behind him.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 50

Here’s a look at both halves staged side by side as separate displays, and you can see how Castle Grayskull’s flat, architectural stonework with its rigid turrets and square parapets plays against Snake Mountain’s organic, almost biological rock formations with their swollen contours and that gaping serpent maw. Beast Man prowling near the Snake Mountain gate alongside the Trap Jaw creates a natural ground-level tension between the two fortresses, while He-Man mounted on Battle Cat in the center establishes a skirmish line right at the center of the divide.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 20

Here are some fun shots of the full battlefield spread with both fortresses separated, and you can really see how the Snake Mountain serpent gate’s iron portcullis with its crosshatched lattice pattern creates a completely different kind of entrance compared to Castle Grayskull’s smooth Jaw Bridge gate design. Battle Cat stands tall between the two camps is a fantastic addition, with its bright red armored headpiece and orange tiger strips running down his sides adding a wild, energy to the whole diorama.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 24

You can see how well the Castle Grayskull gate works as a staging area, with the brown jaw bridge swung shut to frame He-Man and Battle Cat together while still leaving room for Man At Arms and Mekaneck to flank the entrance without crowding the scene. Battle Cat’s orange tiger-stripe pattern across his haunches and the texture of his green hide look especially good contrasted against all that smooth, flat stonework surrounding the skull facade.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 21

Here are some fun shots of the heroes clashing with Skeletor’s forces right at the Snake Mountain entrance, and the layered purple n texture wrapping around the fortress walls is something that’s easy to overlook but adds so much organic detail up close. Battle Cat towers over the scrum below, and you can see how that iron portcullis chain hangs loose from the gate mechanism, suggesting the dungeon has already been breached.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 26

Skeletor commands the top of Snake Mountain here, and the purple-and-orange sculpted snake head beneath him is loaded with texture, from layered scales wrapping around the sides to the deep red fleshy interior of the open mouth framing the dungeon gate below. His Havoc Staff with its curling ram skull topper and gold-trimmed robes look fantastic paired against all that rocky, organic detail, and the gate sitting inside the snake’s maw is a great design choice that makes the whole structure feel like one living, breathing fortress.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 27

Interior Details

Here’s a look at the full playset in action with every level occupied, and what strikes me is how the bright red staircase connecting Snake Mountain’s lower gate to the upper battlement creates a vivid color anchor right at the center of the display, tying the two fortress halves together visually. The Bone Throne with Skeletor seated on it, the gold Power Sword alter on the Grayskull side, and Battle Cat pressing against the ramparts all compete for your attention in the best possible way, proving this playset was built to reward you the more figures you throw at it.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 28

Here are some fun shots of the playset fully populated with figures, and what I really appreciate is how the Castle Grayskull side can hold multiple figures across different levels without feeling cramped. Battle Cat looks fantastic parked right at the gate, his green body covered in orange striping with that massive red armored saddle and helmet, and the gold pyramid throne behind him creates a natural focal point that ties the whole ground level together.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 41

He-Man wears a silver chest armor piece with a bold red iron cross emblem at its center, paired with a dark brown leather-like loincloth and matching bracers that have a nice rugged texture to them. The silver belt buckle features a small sculpted emblem, and his dark brown boots with folded cuffs complete a look that’s more medieval crusader than his classic barbarian gear.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 36

The golden pyramid sword alter at the center of Castle Grayskull’s interior has a gorgeous sculpt, with layered geometric panels and etched rune-like patterns running along every face, all topped by the Power Sword rising from its peak. Mekaneck stands guard to the right with his red helmet, green visor, and segmented silver neck extension, while what looks like Man-At-Arms reaches toward the sword alter from the left.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 38

Here’s a closer look at the weapon rack built into the stone tower wall, which holds a battle axe, a mace, and a sword all molded in matching silver-gray plastic, clipped into sculpted pegs that keep them neatly organized. The deep crimson banner hanging above features a winged crest with a gold trident-like emblem at its center, and Mekaneck standing below it really helps sell how tall this section of the playset actually is.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 39

He-Man atop Battle Cat fills the Castle Grayskull entrance perfectly, and I noticed that the lowered drawbridge jaw creates a natural ramp that elevates the pair just enough to put them at eye level with the skull’s fanged maw. Man At Arms holds the right tower while Mekaneck occupies the left elevator, and the crimson banner with its winged crest hanging between them softens the otherwise heavy stone gray palette of the upper fortress wall.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 29

Man-At-Arms sports a striking teal bodysuit beneath layered copper armor plating that wraps across his chest, shoulders, thighs, and shins, with each segment featuring sharp geometric ridges and angular panel lines. His bright blue helmet with gold trim lines running along the crest gives him a distinctly Eternian royal guard look, and that golden mace with its ornately textured globe head looks right at home next to the Power Sword alter behind him.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 37

Man At Arms looks fantastic staged on the gold elevator inside Castle Grayskull, which you can lift up and down. The elevator works on just friction and seems to ratchet up and down and works very well. His teal bodysuit layered with copper-orange armor plates across the chest, shoulders, and thighs that feature serrated edge detailing and geometric panel work. Armed with a translucent orange blaster and a golden scepter-like weapon, his light blue helmet with swept-back ridges and that pale blue utility belt create a cool color bridge between the warm copper armor and the darker green underneath.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 40

Skeletor sits enthroned on the Bone Throne with his full court assembled, and the bright reddish orange staircase leading up to him really emphasizes how the Snake Mountain side is designed to funnel your eye upward toward that spinal column backrest. The snakes on either side of the bone throne can move back and forth and tilt side to side. The head of the bone throne is articulated on a ball joint, has an articulated jaw and can be removed to fit on Origins figure’s neck pegs! Mekaneck captured prisoner in gold colored chains on the upper left platform while Beast Man crouches at the base with his whip coiled, and you can see how the four serpent-leg supports naturally create little alcoves where figures like Trap Jaw can tuck in without blocking the staircase approach.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 30

Now we can see the included Black and Gold Skeletor on the Bone Throne is flanked by his full villain roster here. The orange reddish staircase leading up to the throne platform is wide enough that Trap Jaw and Beast Man can occupy opposite sides at the base without blocking the ascent.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 31

Here’s a closer look at the Snake Mountain side fully populated, and the dungeon gate’s brown frame with its olive-green portcullis lifted high creates a cavernous opening that perfectly showcases Beast Man lurking inside. You can see how you can disconnet the bone throne and place it off to the side so you have access to the front gate. Trap Jaw perches on the upper right battlement beside the portcullis mechanism, and the bright orange staircase leading up to the Bone Throne gives Skeletor’s entire command post a tiered, amphitheater-like staging quality that rewards you for filling every available platform.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 43

A closer look at the bone throne! Again you can see here how the head of the bone throne is articulated and has an articulated jaw. Again, it can be removed to fit on Origins figure’s neck pegs! Skeletor’s dark purple armor has a rich, almost metallic sheen across the layered chest plates and segmented loincloth strips, and those gold accents running from the ornate shoulder pauldrons down through the belt and greaves tie the whole color scheme together with a regal consistency. You can see how the Bone Throne’s ivory rib-cage backrest and curving horn crown frame him perfectly from behind, with the serpent armrests flanking his legs and creating a natural containment for the figure that makes the throne feel like it was sculpted specifically around his proportions.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 32

The original Skeletor also looks great sitting on the bone throne. Skeletor’s Havoc Staff really shines here, with the ram skull topper featuring a bright turquoise gem set into its eye socket and those curling silver horns wrapping tightly around the metallic shaft. One detail I really like is the small red gemstone set into the medallion at the center of his chest harness, which picks up the glow of his crimson eyes and ties the upper body’s purple leather-textured straps and buckles together with a single warm focal point.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 33

Skeletor descends the red staircase with his Havoc Staff in hand, and the way those molded step ridges catch shadows along each tier really highlights how sturdy and well-defined the staircase sculpt is. Beast Man and what appears to be a Horde trooper guard the flanking positions, and the Bone Throne’s towering spinal column rising behind them provides a dramatic vertical anchor that makes this whole Snake Mountain approach feel like a proper villain’s descent.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 34

Skeletor commands the base of the staircase in his dark robes and gold-trimmed regalia, with Trap Jaw visible to the left sporting his green face, red helmet, and that massive mechanical jaw prosthetic. I like how the red staircase steps are wide enough to comfortably frame the figure’s full silhouette while still leaving clear sightlines up to the Bone Throne above, proving how well the playset’s vertical layout works even when figures are staged at the lowest level.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 35

Here are some fun shots of the full Battle for Eternia playset spread wide with both halves separated into their own display zones, and the sheer amount of real estate each side offers is really apparent when you see figures occupying every level simultaneously. He-Man swinging across the zipline cable while Skeletor’s forces hold the Snake Mountain gate and Battle Cat squares off against Panthor at ground level shows how this playset creates natural storytelling beats across multiple tiers without you having to force anything.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 45

He-Man swings from a zipline to be the gold grappling hook accessory, and the chain links connecting it to the playset’s upper structure show off a fun play feature that adds some kinetic energy to the Castle Grayskull side. Mekaneck stands prisoner in chains on the elevated rocky platform behind him while Skeletor lurks just beyond the red staircase, and Trap Jaw crouching at the base confirms how naturally this playset stages multi-figure confrontations across its different elevations.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 42

He-Man zips across the gap between the two fortress halves on the grappling hook’s cable line, and you can see how the hook latches onto the rocky outcrop of the Snake Mountain tower, turning the space between the two playsets into its own action zone. The red-and-blue warrior waiting on the gold tower platform below serves as a perfect target for the incoming assault, and it’s cool to see how much vertical play this zipline feature encourages when both halves are staged apart from each other.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 44

Beast Man’s whip trails behind him in a long, flexible cord that really shows off how much reach that accessory has when posed freely outside the playset’s confines. He-Man swings into frame on the grappling hook cable with his Power Sword extended, and the contrast between Beast Man’s wild, organic sculpt with those massive clawed feet and tufted tail against He-Man’s clean, armored silhouette makes this one of the more visually satisfying hero-versus-villain pairings the playset can stage.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 46

The Bone Throne’s red-orange staircase connects to the base with a satisfying snap-fit, and the smooth, flat step surfaces are wide enough to comfortably support a figure on each tier without any wobble. You can see how the four coiled serpent supports wrap around a sculpted stone pedestal that holds the seat itself, with each cobra head flaring its hood outward and baring tiny fangs that mirror the larger serpent maw of the Snake Mountain fortress behind it. The snakes move from side to side and can be posed nicely to create a different look and feel .

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 51

Here’s a closer look at the Bone Throne from behind, and the full vertebral column running from the seat up through the horned skull apex reveals a level of anatomical detail that’s genuinely surprising, with each knobby spinal process individually sculpted and tiny barbed ridges lining the column’s edges. The rib-like struts fanning outward from the spine to form the backrest interlock in a web-like lattice pattern, and you can see how the brown leather-textured seat cushion nestled within that skeletal cage provides a warm, grounded anchor point between the pale ivory bones and the coiled serpent armrests flanking each side. You can now clearly see the head of the bone throne sitting on a ball joint with it’s articulated jaw.

Masters of the Universe Battle For Eternia 2 in 1 Core Playset IH 52

The rears side of the Bone Throne on the Snake Mountain side is an incredible piece of sculpted work, with a towering spinal column rising into curved horns at its apex and interlocking rib-like struts fanning out to form the backrest. Four coiled serpents with detailed crosshatch scale patterns serve as the throne’s legs, each one wrapped tightly around a rocky base in a warm tan and sandstone color that contrasts beautifully against the ivory bone structure above.
