Masters of the Universe & Mattel Brick Shop Confirmed CCXPMX26
We’ve been keeping an eye on this one and now it’s official, as @ccxp_mx on Instagram has confirmed that Mattel is bringing a massive presence to CCXPMX26, running April 24 through 26 in Mexico City, and for Masters of the Universe fans the timing could not be more perfect. With the live-action MOTU movie drawing closer by the month, Mattel is clearly leaning into the momentum, and the prospect of seeing the franchise take center stage at a major convention like this has me genuinely fired up. What makes this especially exciting from a collector’s perspective is just how much has been revealed in recent weeks across multiple corners of the MOTU toy universe, and we’re really hoping Mattel uses this event to put all of it on display under one roof. We recently got our first official look at the new Movie MOTU Origins figures along with new Chronicles and Barbie reveals, and before that we were treated to an incredible booth tour that showcased upcoming MOTU Chronicles and Core figures during the Mattel Creators event, plus the 200x MOTU Origins Cartoon Collection Wave 4 assortment has already gone up for preorder with official images so we hope those figures are on display. The hope here is that CCXPMX26 becomes the place where we see even more Chronicles, Core, and Mattel Brick Shop reveals, and ideally the Mattel Brick Shop Clash at Snake Mountain set gets a proper spotlight alongside everything else that’s been trickling out. Mattel Brick Shop has been quietly building something special within the MOTU space, and a convention floor is exactly where those sets deserve to shine, giving fans the chance to see the scale and detail up close. Between the movie tie-in Origins figures, the depth of the Chronicles and Core lines, the 200x Cartoon Collection wave, and the brick sets, there’s a staggering amount of MOTU product in the pipeline right now, and having it all converge at one event would be a full circle moment for collectors who have been tracking every piece of intel as it surfaces. We’ll be watching closely for any new reveals or in-person coverage that comes out of Mexico City later this month, because if Mattel brings even half of what’s been revealed, this is going to be one to remember.

Three promotional cards from CCXP Mexico confirm the presence of Masters of the Universe and Mattel Brick Shop at the event, set for April 24–26, 2026. The cards feature a bold yellow and orange sunburst design with pink-framed white panels showcasing each property’s respective artwork. We spotted these confirmation cards over on CCXP Mexico’s Instagram (@ccxp_mx), and needless to say, we’re excited to see what gets shown off.
Masters of the Universe Figures
With the Masters of the Universe movie on the horizon, we’re hoping to see plenty of new reveals across MOTU Chronicles, MOTU Core, and Mattel Brick Shop, along with some of the recently announced product on display. We’d love to see the the new MOTU Chronicles, MOTU Core, and Movie MOTU Origins figures that were just revealed. It would also be great to get a look at the MOTU Origins 200x Cartoon Collection Wave 4 assortment on the show floor. Fingers crossed Mattel brings the full lineup to Mexico City.
Masters of the Universe Core Movie 4-Pack
Masters of the Universe® Figure 4-Pack (JKJ33)
SRP: $34.99 | 6Y+
Available Spring 2026
- This 4-pack of action figures of two hero and two villain characters
from the 2026 live action Masters of the Universe movie, lets kids
bring home the battle of good versus evil in Eternia. He-Man and
Man-At-Arms face off against Skeletor and an exclusive Goat Man
figure. They are all content-accurate, including the likenesses of the
actors from the movie. At 5.5-inch scale, they have 14 movable joints
for action moves and battle poses. One key movie-related accessory
is included for each figure.
The movie-inspired Core 4-pack lines up He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, and Goat Man with each figure’s individual accessories spread out around them. Goat Man’s movie interpretation runs deep red with scaled dark plating across the chest and shoulders and translates well into the Core format.

All four figures carry their movie design details at this scale. Skeletor’s purple hood and cape drape cleanly at the Core scale, and the Havoc Staff is a solid accessory choice for this format.

Another arrangement puts the heroes and villains facing each other with weapons raised, giving a good look at how the full set reads together. Man-At-Arms’s green bodysuit with bronze/yellow plating and his blue helmet make him one of the more visually distinct entries in the pack and harkens back to his original look!

All four mid-action in their widest spread with He-Man facing off with Skeletor and Man-At-Arms squaring off against Goat Man on the other side. He-Man’s silver Sword of Power and Man-At-Arms’s gold-tipped mace are both detailed for the scale and read clearly across the group.

Outfitted with weapons drawn in this final arrangement, the set gives a solid sense of how the movie character designs sit together as a display. I like the contrast between the blue-skinned Skeletor in his purple hood and the crimson Goat Man anchoring the opposite end.

Masters of the Universe Origins Movie He-Man
Masters of the Universe® Origins He-Man® Action Figure (JKJ36)
SRP: $19.99 | 6Y+
Available Spring 2026
- Inspired by the long-awaited 2026 live action Masters of the Universe movie, this HeMan action figure includes the likeness of actor Nick Galitzine, but in iconic Origins
style. Designed at 5.5-inch scale with 16 points of articulation for action moves and
poses. Like other Origins figures, the Most Powerful Man in the Universe has multiple
swappable parts for mix-and-match play. He-Man’s iconic Power Sword is included as
an accessory.
He-Man’s Origins figure take on the movie design presents in the brown leather costume with a silver chest plate and red cross emblem, keeping the movie costume intact at this scale. He comes with the Sword of Power, accurately detailed with a tapered blade and crossguard.

Armed with the Sword of Power raised above his head, the figure’s blonde hair sculpt and movie-specific face portrait come through at this scale without being lost. The brown leather bracers and proportioned skirt panels are both carried over from the movie look.

Clad in the full leather outfit from this three-quarter angle, the layered brown skirt and belted waist show how the movie costume translates at the Origins scale. The cross emblem on the chest plate is painted in red with a silver surround and sits as the main deco point on the front.

Covered in the full brown leather outfit from this angle, the harness strap work crossing the chest and the studded detail on the bracers are visible together. The sword is sheathed across the back in this shot, running diagonally from shoulder to hip.

From the back, the sword holster position across the shoulder is visible alongside the clean skirt panel work and the strap detail of the boots. One detail I really like is how they kept the textured leather finish consistent across the bracers and boot tops at this scale.

Masters of the Universe Origins Movie Spikor
Masters of the Universe® Origins Spikor® Action Figure (JKJ37)
SRP: $19.99 | 6Y+
Available Spring 2026
- Inspired by the 2026 live action Masters of the Universe movie, this Spikor action figure
has a detailed screen accurate design, but in iconic Origins style. The villain is
designed at 5.5-inch scale with 16 points of articulation. Like other Origins figures, the
evil warrior has multiple swappable parts for mix-and-match play. His signature spiked
flail is included as an accessory.
Spikor comes in an all-over purple colorway for his movie interpretation, with sharp spike protrusions densely covering the body from head to foot and white armor sections at the shins and knees. He comes with a chain flail featuring a spiked iron ball that connects at a wrist-mounted anchor point.

Sporting the chain flail with the spiked ball swung back on a long chain, the spike coverage across the torso and shoulders reads clearly here. The white shin and knee sections are the main contrast against the all-purple body.

The chain weapon fully extended forward shows the reach of the flail and the weight of the ball end. A close look at the face sculpt here reveals an expressive open-jaw portrait with deep-set eyes, all in pale purple, which is a movie-specific take on the character.

Covered from head to toe in purple flesh and spikes, Spikor reads as a unified design with the brown leather belt and silver buckle at the waist as the one contrasting color note.

The back of the figure shows the spike clusters continuing down the spine and shoulders, with articulation joints integrated into the textured body. Another element that stands out is how the spike formations crown the back of the head and frame it from behind.

Masters of the Universe Origins Deluxe Trap Jaw
Masters of the Universe® Origins Trap Jaw® Action Figure (JKJ43)
SRP: $24.99 | 6Y+
Available Spring 2026
- This oversized Trap Jaw action figure is based on the 2026 Masters of the Universe
movie, including facial likeness of actor Sam C. Wilson, but designed in classic Origins
style. As a deluxe figure, it’s oversized to the usual Origins 5.5-inch tall figures. With 16
points of articulation and blade and hook that plug into his mechanical-style arm. A
Collector Card is also included.
Trap Jaw arrives in his Deluxe Origins format with a blue body, a green-skinned face set into a red mechanical head assembly, and his signature mechanical arm featuring a large shoulder housing and hook attachment. A serrated blade is included as a separate interchangeable accessory piece for the arm.

Outfitted with the mechanical arm raised and the hook rotated upward, the shoulder housing detail and the strap-and-buckle harness running across the chest come through clearly. The green of the face and the olive green of the belt and knee pads are the main color contrasts across the blue body.

The serrated blade accessory is held in the organic hand while the mechanical arm extends to the side, showing how the figure uses both arms for separate weapon options. The leg armor panels carry the same riveted, bolted construction as the arm assembly.

From the side, the mechanical arm is at full extension with the hook leading forward, giving the clearest view of the arm’s length from shoulder pivot to the curved tip. Trap Jaw’s open mechanical jaw faces outward with visible metal teeth and a hinge line along the jaw.

Another three-quarter angle brings the mechanical shoulder housing forward with the full arm assembly running from pivot to hook. The harness straps and the body of the mechanical arm share a gunmetal grey finish that runs consistently across the whole assembly.

Fright Fighter Vehicle
Masters of the Universe® Origins Fright Fighter™ Vehicle (JKJ40)
SRP: $39.99 | 6Y+
Available Spring 2026
- Designed at 5.5-inch scale, the Fright Fighter is content-accurate to the movie but
maintains the charm of the 80s. It boasts 6 large, wide wings and the cockpit can
hold one 5.5-inch figure. A trigger activates flapping of the wings and the front claws
can be manipulated to catch enemies in their grasp. The tail of the dragonfly-like
vehicle can bend underneath for alternate posing possibilities and to act as a handle
for steering into battle.
The packaging features the Fright Fighter illustrated in flight against a dark purple sky with the Masters of the Universe logo at the top. Out of the box, the vehicle is an insect-inspired aircraft in a deep magenta finish with multiple sharp wing-like appendages fanning out from the main fuselage and a claw gripper extending from the nose.

The Fright Fighter packaging features bold illustrated artwork across the front with the vehicle in dramatic flight against a dark purple sky, flanked by additional vehicles in the distance. The Masters of the Universe logo and product name run across the top of the box art.

Finished in the deep magenta shell from this overhead catalog angle, the Fright Fighter’s insect-body silhouette reads clearly with the translucent cockpit dome at center and the wing appendages extending outward on both sides. The nose of the vehicle terminates in a multi-prong claw assembly at the front.

From the side, the Fright Fighter’s body runs from the front nose claw through to the rear engine section, with the transparent blue cockpit dome sitting mid-body behind the wing cluster. The magenta shell has panel line detailing across the main body sections that reads clearly at this angle.

This angle shows the wing appendages at their widest spread, fanning outward from the top of the fuselage in multiple thin blade-like extensions. The pale blue cockpit dome is the one clear color break against the deep magenta body.

Covered in the deep magenta shell from front to back, the three-quarter view gives the best sense of the vehicle’s overall size and the front-facing profile with the claw gripper fully extended. The underside has footing pegs that allow the vehicle to display flat.

The cockpit canopy is shown open with an Origins-scale Spikor figure seated inside, confirming the vehicle’s compatibility with the Origins figure line. I’m really digging how the seating cavity is cut deep into the magenta shell with the canopy hinging fully upward to allow figure placement.

Masters of the Universe Chronicles Ram Man and Fisto
Masters of the Universe® Chronicles™ Ram Man® and Fisto® Action Figure 2-pack (JKJ34)
SRP: $39.99 | 6Y+
Available Spring 2026
- This Chronicles two-pack of action figures celebrates the 2026 live action
Masters of the Universe movie and the dramatic battles of good versus evil in a
6.5 inch scale. It includes two heroes of the Royal Guard — Ram Man, the Human
Battering Ram, and Fisto, the Hand-to-Hand Fighter with the oversized metallic
fist. These figures have collector-level detail and movie-accurate designs,
including actor likenesses. The enhanced 30+ points of articulation deliver deluxe
posability, and the figures comes with signature character accessories.
The Chronicles 2-pack brings Ram Man and Fisto together in their movie-inspired designs with dedicated accessories for each. Ram Man is outfitted in a steel-grey helmet, red scaled chest armor, and green leg wraps with a double-bladed axe and interchangeable hands, while Fisto wears blue and silver chest plating and comes with a translucent blue crystal fist effect piece.

Both posed facing each other we can see all of the details. The red scaled texture across Ram Man’s chest runs continuously from the neckline to the waist without interruption.

Sporting a charge pose, Ram Man has his axe swept out and Fisto mirrors with his fist at full extension. Ram Man looks like he has translucent extension effects and not sure how they come off and on but super interesting!

From behind, the full silhouette of Ram Man’s helmet and Fisto’s silver back plating are both visible. Ram Man’s green lower leg wraps have a wound, layered texture here that is one of the more grounded details in the 2-pack’s costume work.

Ram Man standing at full height with Fisto crouched low. The sculpted panel lines on Ram Man’s upper chest armor and shoulder protection are clearly defined from this vantage.

Trap Jaw Masters of the Universe 2026 Movie Origins Deluxe
Trap Jaw MOTU Origins Movie Figure stands taller than the standard Origins scale, with blue skin, a tattered brown fur loincloth, and olive green armor plating on his belt and thighs. His massive mechanical arm ends in a hook attachment, and a blade is displayed alongside him as an alternate accessory.

The metallic gunmetal finish on Trap Jaw’s armored legs and shoulder pauldron has a nice sheen to it, with riveted details sculpted into the plates. His red helmet frames that green face with a jawless, toothy grin that’s classic Trap Jaw through and through.

Outfitted with a leather-look harness strap across his torso, Trap Jaw’s chest area shows sculpted rivet details along the brown crossbody band. I’m really digging the hook accessory on his mechanical arm, which has a nice silver plastic finish that contrasts well against the dark gunmetal of the arm itself.

Armed with the hook attachment extended outward, Trap Jaw’s mechanical arm shows off the layered cylindrical sculpt of its barrel section, with concentric ring details and a pointed spike protruding just behind the hook. The spiked shoulder pauldron and chest armor have a heavy, industrial look that fits the movie redesign well.

Trap Jaw’s green face is captured here with his mouth open, showing off the sculpted teeth along his upper jaw. The olive green belt and brown fur loincloth break up the blue torso nicely, and those dark mechanical legs have a ton of sculpted mechanical detail running all the way down to the boots.

Mattel Brick Shop
Mattel is continuing to expand its Brick Shop Masters of the Universe lineup with two buildable playsets arriving in Spring 2026, Clash at Snake Mountain priced at $53.99 and Battle of Castle Grayskull at $64.79, both designed for ages 13 and up. Each set brings the battle between the Heroes of Eternia and Skeletor into a construction format, with Snake Mountain featuring 12 MicroWorld figures and Castle Grayskull stepping it up with 16 figures, along with special effects pieces and detailed environments that pull from the upcoming movie design. Both builds are positioned as display pieces that also allow for scene recreation, giving collectors a way to physically build out key locations while assembling a growing roster of micro-scale characters across the line. We also saw the Eternia Flight Fright and Attack of the Collector got up for preorder.
Mattel Brick Shop Masters of the Universe Building Set, Eternia Flight Fight
The Eternia Flight Fight set features the Fright Fighter as its centerpiece, built in a deep teal with sweeping angular wings and a translucent cockpit, while the pink and silver Roton sits nearby with its signature red saw-blade wheel and translucent orange energy effects. Scattered across the base, coral-like flora pieces in red, pink, blue, and translucent orange give the terrain a distinctly alien Eternian feel, and a small blue Sky Sled with a NanoWorld figure mounted on it hovers on a display stand between the two larger vehicles.

The Roton’s red saw-blade wheel and gray gear-tooth detailing get a closer look here, with translucent orange energy pieces threaded through the center hub creating a nice spinning effect. A Whiplash-looking green NanoWorld figure stands in the lower corner near a cluster of purple and blue alien flora, adding some color variety to the 10-figure roster included with this 411-piece set.

The Fright Fighter and Roton are shown in an aerial clash with a Sky Sled.

The NanoWorld figure grid highlights several of the 10 character designs!

Sporting olive-green armor with darker green plating on the legs and shoulders, Tri-Klops fires his rifle with a translucent yellow muzzle blast effect while other figures clash in the background near the coral terrain. The Sky Sled hovers above on its stand with a blonde NanoWorld figure riding atop its bright blue hull, and the Roton’s saw-blade rim looms at the edge of the frame.

The Eternia Flight Fight set is shown mid-build, with the Fright Fighter’s teal hull taking shape as loose purple, blue, and brown pieces sit scattered across the table alongside the instruction sheet. The terrain base is partially assembled with its red and pink coral flora, gray rock builds, and a small green creature sculpt tucked into the lower section, while the Sky Sled and its NanoWorld rider hover on a clear stand nearby.

Mattel Brick Shop Masters of the Universe Building Set, Attack of the Collector
The set brings the action of the Masters of the Universe film into a buildable display, featuring the Roton, Fright Fighter, and Sky Sled vehicles alongside 10 NanoWorld figures, including He-Man and Teela, all designed with swappable poses to help stage dynamic scenes. It also includes blast and explosion effect pieces to enhance the display, while the Fright Fighter features articulated wings and a movable tail, plus additional parts that allow figures to be positioned in mid-air. Built with compatibility in mind, the set integrates seamlessly with other Mattel Brick Shop builds and major construction brands, giving collectors flexibility to expand their setups.

The Skel-Knight figure stands beneath the Collector’s airship, holding a spear, with the bronze and dark brown tones on the micro figure reading nicely against the light blue hull above. The underside of the airship shows off the poseable door mechanism and a pair of cylindrical cannon details, while a second NanoWorld figure sits inside the translucent yellow cockpit.

The arena platform is loaded with NanoWorld figures, and you can pick out Skeletor near the base of the airship along with what appear to be skull-themed gray builds beside him. Scattered across the blue tile surface, the translucent orange explosion and light burst effect pieces add a nice sense of chaos between the various heroes and villains clashing on the platform.

Skeletor’s are front and center here, with him wielding his Havoc staff and Roboto!. The lower section gives a closer look at the NanoWorld figures in action, and I’m really digging the translucent yellow energy claw piece fitted onto Roboto, adding a nice bit of visual punch to the skirmish.

The full 12-figure NanoWorld lineup is laid out here, and the variety across the roster is impressive.

Official Images
Castle Grayskull stands as the centerpiece here, built in off-white and light teal bricks with a massive skull facade at its center, complete with sculpted teeth and a green trident crest above. Red coral-like vine pieces climb up both flanking towers, adding a nice pop of color against the pale stone. A separate archway structure sits to the left with translucent blue energy pieces inside, while several minifigures are arranged across the base, including be He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, and a group of Skel-Cons.

The castle is mid-build here, with a portion of the upper tower section being placed by hand, showing how the structure assembles in segments. A few minifigures are scattered around the base area alongside the instruction booklet, and I like the way the interior archway beneath the skull facade opens up with enough clearance to fit figures through it.

They were not kidding when they called these figures “Nano” during the live stream. He-Man is incredibly tiny here, held between two fingers on a small black base. Even at this miniature scale, the paint apps are surprisingly clean, with his blonde hair, brown fur loincloth and boots, and the red iron cross on his chest harness all picked out. I think it’s cool that the Power Sword is molded in a flat gray and still retains its classic crossguard shape at this size.

Several of the nano-scale figures are spread out in front of Castle Grayskull, giving a better look at the full lineup. Skeletor stands out in his purple hood and staff as he tangles with He-Man in front of Castle Grayskull.

A wide shot of the full figure lineup arranged in front of Castle Grayskull, and it’s nice to see how many characters are packed into this set. They include:
• He-Man
• Prince Adam
• Battle Cat/Cringer
• Skeletor
• Beast Man
• Evil-Lyn
• Teela
• Palace Guard
• Skel-Knight
• Sorceress
• Zoar

Prince Adam stands with the Power Sword raised overhead, surrounded by a cluster of translucent blue energy pieces that fan out dramatically around him. Something I appreciate here is the way those ice-crystal elements catch light from below, giving the whole base an illuminated glow that really makes the tiny figure pop against the Grayskull archway behind him as he summons the power of Grayskull!
