Masters of the Universe Origins Reveals
Let’s take a look at the single card releases first. Then we will move on to Deluxe Figures, Multi-packs and Playsets.
Single Carded Releases
Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms
Serpent Claw Man At Arms is a very cool figure reveal and one that we predicted was coming to the Origins line! He reuses most of the Man At Arms parts, but incorporates the Lords of Power version for his chest armor in a silver color. And he now also has an incredible new serpent claw! This new serpent claw takes up the lower portion of his right arm, and has a lot of cool mechanical details on it, and then ends in a bright green colored claw end.

This figure was also discovered as part of the Amazon leaks and Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms makes a great addition to the Snake Men line.

We also discovered the listing for Serpent Claw Man-At-Arms on the Walmart website and below is the Walmart Listing for Serpant Claw Man At Arms!
Eternian Guard Infiltrator
The Eternan Guard Infiltrator is basically a reuse of the Eternian Royal guard with a snake face under the helmet. He includes the haberstaff and a silver colored snake staff.

The Eternian Guard Infiltrator was part of the Amazon leaked list and was also seen at the German Toy Fair and, reported by Jay from Geek Dad Life, as the palace guard with the snake head and that the figure looked to be in prototype form. The figure originally came from the Masters of the Universe Classics line.

We also discovered the listing for the Eternian Guard Infiltrator on the Walmart website and below is the link to the Walmart Listing for the Eternian Guard Infiltrator:
Spikor
Spikor is exactly as to be expected in terms of a recreation of the vintage figure. He includes his left hand trident that looks like it extends out of his arm, and his spiked club mace. It looks likehis spikes are part of his torso rather than a chest armor sitting over his torso, so that is a very nice detail true to the vintage figure! I think they did a great job on recreating the original.

He also first was discovered on the Amazon leaked list that showed up in their database. Spikor is one of the most anticipated MOTU Origins figures! Spikor was introduced into the Masters of the Universe toy line in 1985. His action figure’s feature is his spring-action waist, which propelled his trident to shoot out of its socket when his torso sprang back.

We also discovered the listing for Spikor on the Walmart website and below is the Walmart Listing for Spikor!
Sssqueeze
We’ve know about Sssqueeze coming to the line for some time now. Let’s take a look at some of the official images below. This version of Sssqueeze looks just like the vintage figure, but has a darker green color. He looks so incredible and I love how they did his arms and pet snake. He has huge bendy arms that can wrap around his enemies! I believe his real color is brighter than this and it’s just the lighting.

Sssqueeze was also part of the leaked Amazon list and was released by Mattel in 1987. The vintage figure featured bright lime green skin color and large wrapping arms was a blast for kids to play with! His arms were made of a flexible rubber with a wire wrapping around inside that allowed you to pose him in fun squeezing positions.

Below is the Walmart Listing for Sssqueeze. Thanks to collector Berkie Allen for posting this link to the MOTU Origins Sssqueeze!
Mini Comic Man-E-Faces
Mini Comic Man E Faces looks incredible and I think he blows the first version outta of the water! The new faces on this version is fantastic! He comes with a new mini comic version of each pf his classic faces and they look amazing! Let’s take a look at some of the official images below.

Charlie_5.5 has acquired what appears to be a prototype of a future MOTU Origins Mini Comic Man-E-Faces and posted the photos on his IG page (shown in blue and white)! The MOTU Origins line is producing certain figures in mini comic form so it is not out of the question that they would do something similar for Man-E-Faces. Here is what he had to say:
Interesting find, this First/Test shot figure of Origins Man-E-Faces has different faces from the released version. The sculpts are more detailed and have the faces MEF had early in The Ordeal of Man-E-Faces mini comic, pre Robot face/form. It’s possible this was a discarded idea, or this could be a future release, I hope it’s the latter 🤞🤞
Charlie_5.5

An Amazon MX leaked listing for a Mini Comic Man-E-Faces was also discovered so it is great to see official images today in the reveals.

Snake Face
Snake Face turned out amazing! By the official images below you can see that he comes with 2 alternate heads to recreate the snake popping effect. Also instead of the shoulder snakes, it looks like they wrap around his head. Snake Face has some nice green overspray paint on his shoulders that add some nice detail. It’s yet to be seen if his chest will open up to reveal some snakes. But so far the images don’t show that.

We covered the teases for Snake Face in More Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023! – (toyhabits.com) and MOTU Origins Wave 11 Rise of the Snake Men Card Art Teases (toyhabits.com) Unveiled during the CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS live stream last year, they revealed the first of the Snake Men coming to Origins in 2023 and they were totally right! They had also revealed the additional Snake Men – King Hiss, Snake Face and Sssqueeze were also coming to Origins later in 2023! Please note, that this new wave of Snake Men have not yet been confirmed by Mattel nor any official images released, but our friends at @canaldosrosmineiros were right about the first wave of Snake Men, She-Ra and Beast Man Masterverse teases, so there is a really good chance we get these Snake Men figures!

Dragon Blaster Skeletor
The official images for Dragon Blaster Skeletor are amazing and I can’t wait to get this one in hand! His super bright pink armor and bright red dragon really make him pop! It also looks like he comes with a real metal chain and of course his green lock! There seems to be a small hole in the mouth of the dragon, akin to a spray hole, rather than a hole for a spray blast effect. Could it be that this dragon actually squirts water?

Dragon Blaster Skeletor makes sense to be a deluxe figure. The vintage Dragon Blaster Skeletor action figure was released back in 1985 as a part of wave 4. Leader of the Evil Warriors, Skelly included his dreadful dragon with the paralyzing spray perched on his shoulder!

Moss Man (Walmart Exclusive)
Moss Man is our biggest contender for this mystery MOTU Origins Deluxe Listing! He was revealed at the Mattel 40th Anniversary Press and Influencer last October, so we know he is definitely a confirmed figure coming to the line! It’s been 5 months since his reveal, so the timing might make sense. And out of the three figures we are considering, Moss-Man is the only one said to be a Walmart exclusive, so this one gets the best chance! These new official images look fantastic, and he looks alot more furry and mossy than the previous images! Im so excited for him!

MOTU Origins fans have been asking for Moss Man for the longest time, and now our requests have been answered but with a slight twist. We are finally getting a freakin’ FLOCKED MOSS MAN in the MOTU Origins line and we personally cannot be more excited!! After all this time, I have been waiting for Moss Man to join the Origins line, and in the Fall of 2023. When this was announced at the presser event, it was announced that he will be a wait for it….. Walmart exclusive! The Lord of the Forests pine smelling friend will only be available through Walmart. So, this could very well be the unnamed listing!

Moss Man will be a deluxe figure give that he will be fully flocked, come with an alternate LOP Style Beast Man head. Mossy’s head looks to be based on the Beast Man head, but he is much more friendlier looking with a big smile on his face looking very Filmation like! They nailed it with this head sculpt! He will also include his vintage style club, yellow Beast Man armor as an homage to those that used to put this weapons pack armor on their Mossy’s, and also a brown Pig Head club as well.

Moss Man is one of He-man’s closest allies, the ever so gentle friend of the forest, Mossman! As his name reveals, he is a man made of moss, who can camouflage himself into foliage and other green vegetation, as well as control all plant life. The figure is essentially a green repaint of Beast Man, flocked with “moss” with the fangs painted over and a pine scent added to the body. He has a mace that is a recast of a weapon from the original Castle Grayskull.
Wave 13 Reveals:
200X King Randor
The next two figures revealed today will come as no surprise to anyone as we already have these figures in hand and did an MOTU Origins Wave 13 Review In Hand Review! 200X King Randor is the figure I was most looking forward to in this new wave! He is one of my personal favorite characters, and it is so cool that I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to buy him this early! This more youthful, battle ready version of Randor looks and feels fantastic in hand! King Randor looks amazing as he is set off in the Rise of the Snake Men card back with his armor and mechanical leg from the Masters of the Universe MYP animated series. You can also see the 200x logo, which is a real treat! His new armor design in the gold and red looks incredible. You can also see his armored right leg new cape design. Also looking at his card back, you can see both the card art and the cross sell! The card art shows a 200x illustration of King Randor tangled with 200x Skeletor! King Randor looking very regal in his new 200x outfit. Randor looks more youthful, but is still wearing a 200x inspired crown on his head, and yes he still has a little “Burger King” in his face! He includes a staff similar to the one that came with the MOTU Classics version which is MYP inspired. He also has a more armor-clad right leg and boot, and the standard left leg with furry topped boot. The details on King Randor’s face are incredible! I just love how the tufts of hair flow over his gold crown. Also his armor is a very beautiful shinny gold color with a lot of sculpted details, which make him look very regal!
So let’s take a look at his official reveal images, shall we.

If you want to see our full review and actual in hand images of all of Wave 13, head over to our MOTU Origins Wave 13 Review In Hand Review! You can see the rest of Wave 13 in hand review HERE
Snake Teela
This next reveal of the day was Snake Teela. We also covered Snake Teela in our MOTU Origins Wave 13 Review In Hand Review. Snake Teela is a reuse of the original Teela figure, but as you can see they added some additional details to her shoulders with the flared shoulder armor. Also the colors of here outfit are all new. The face sculpt looks incredible in hand, and you can see that they even included snake fangs on her face! She comes with a green snake staff and green version of the sword that came with the Teela and Zoar Two Pack. You can see they also added a sword sheath on her back, which is all new to the Teela figure. Her boots are also reminiscent of the Teela 200X character, so perhaps that is what Mattel has in store for us in the future! So let’s take a look at Snake Teela’s official release images.

Slamurai
Slamurai, is also not a surprise, as he was part of our in our MOTU Origins Wave 13 Review In Hand Review. Slamurai which is a cool white ninja repaint version of Ninjor! It’s amazing to see another heroic warrior in the mix to fend off the Snake Men. He has a new Ninja heroic logo on his chest which is different than the Evil Warriors ninja logo of Ninjor! This looks like it is going to be the fan favorite of the wave! This figure now comes with a blue bow and arrow, white nunchucks and a silver sword. He also has human boots for his feet, unlike Ninjor who has the monster feet. So let’s take a look at his official reveal images, shall we.

Snake Trooper
The Snake Trooper is the final figure of Wave 13, which we covered in our MOTU Origins Wave 13 Review In Hand Review. The Snake Trooper looks amazing in hand! You can see how good the Snake head looks in the Horde Trooper armor and how well it sits! Mattel has reused the Horde Trooper body and looks like is using the Rattlor Snake Head in green. There are some nice gold accents on his shoulders as well. He comes with a red Horde Trooper staff and a red snake man shield like the one that came with King Hiss. They also changed his lower legs, and boots, as he now has the horde logo on his boots, a reuse of Mantenna’s boots! This will definitely be one of the more sought-after army builders! Compared to the official image, having this Snake Trooper in hand is amazing! This Snake Trooper has the same action feature as the rest of the Horde Troopers! By pressing his Horde Logo button on his chest, he pops open as if a robot being blasted and falling apart! Let’s take a look at the official images.

Multi-Pack Sets
Skeleton Warriors
We at Toy Habits have a great knack at predicting what new characters may be coming to the MOTU Origins line and the Skeleton Warriors are no exception. As we covered in our Wun-Dar Card Art Teases New MOTU Origins Characters article, we predicted that these cool glowing army builders were going to come to the MOTU Origins line, and today we got confirmation of that! Just like Mekaneck and the Road Ripper, these little glowing army builders made their silent debut at the huge Eternia Playset display at 2022 SDCC! There was no big splashy panel announcing these guys, so they quietly sat in the corner looking oh so cool with no fan fair to greet them. But this weekend we got confirmation and MOTU Origins Skeleton Warriors are officially confirmed to be coming to the line in 2023! So let’s take a look at their official images.

Skeleton Warriors at SDCC
Pixel Dan did an interview with Mattel’s MOTU Brand Manager Josh Graham st SDCC last year, and he officially confirmed that the Skeleton Warriors the Eternia Playset display were indeed real andthat there will be plenty available so that you can army build your Skeleton Warriors! So our prediction was correct, and this is super exciting news! You can watch that interview here: Mattel MOTU 40th Anniversary Product Interview at SDCC 2022
These Skeleton Warriors look absolutely amazing! They have a light green bone color so I hope that means that they might be glow in the dark?! They are outfitted in Viking Style helmets, and purple and black chest armor with yellow bat symbols on their chest. They are wearing purple battle armor skirting with black belts and black monster type feet. They are equipped with bright green spears and green swords, like the one that came from the Castle Grayskull weapons rack and was also packed with Wun-Dar.
Skeletor and Screech 2-Pack

Vintage Gift Set
Skeletor & Screeech 2-Pack Leak
We first heard about this leak from a UK toy site but they since have removed the listings so all we have is the product page for these ones, which were leaked back in December 2022.
Rulers of the Sun 3-Pack
We are getting yet another Rulers of the Sun 3 pack, and these guys look amazing! This 3 pack comes with Holographo, Kikko, and Zap Man Let’s look at their official images. Holographo, the Futuristic Scientist, is another unproduced Rulers of the Sun figure and will make a fanastic addition to the line! Kikto is another unproduced Rulers of the Sun figure and he is the “expert kick boxer.” It stands to reason that Mattel will be creating all of the figures from the Rulers of the Sun line and you can see Kikto below! Zpman is another unproduced Rulers of the Sun figure and he is the “micro laser specialist.” It stands to reason that Mattel will be creating all of the figures from the Rulers of the Sun line and you can see the official images of Zap Man below!

Vintage Rulers of the Sun: Kikto, Holographo, and Zap Man
Below are images of the original vintage versions of the Rulers of the Sun Kikto, Holographo, and Zap Man

Snake Men 4-Pack
We previously covered a leak that there would be a Snake Men 4-Pack coming to the MOTU Origins Line and the Snake Men 4-Pack is an exciting addition to the MOTU Origins line. Given that 2023 will be the year of the Snake Men, a 4 pack is just what King Hiss (we mean The Doctor) ordered! So let’s tale a closer look at the official images! So these snake men include a green one using the Rattlor head, a blue one with the ended neck and Camo Khan open hooded head, and a third burgundy Snake Man as well. This set also includes a slight repaint of Snake Armor He-Man. This is going to be a really sought after set!

Playsets
Point Dread and the Talon Fighter
This Talon Fighter and Point Dread were the star of the show in today’s reveals in my opinion! The vibrant colors, amazing details in the cockpit and rear of the jet, and the total nostalgia of this flying falcon are just amazing! The way they recreated the ” paper” computer inside Point Dread was very cool You can still attach this to your Castle Grayskull. The silver laser canon is also interchangeable with the blue one and attaches to the top of Point Dread as well! Let’s take a closer look at the official images below.

The Talon Fighter was leaked on the Deep Discount website and thanks to our friends over at CANAL DOS ROSMINEIROS on Instagram, for sending us a leak that MOTU Origins is going to be getting a Talon Fighter and Point Dread vehicle/ playset! This is very exciting news as again this is further evidence that the MOTU Origins line is not going away! According to the leaked image from Deepdiscount.com online retailer, there is a listing for the MOTU Origins Talon Fighter and Point Dread! This should be confirmation that it is coming to the line!

The Toy was packaged as Frontier Outpost Point Dread and Flying Talon Fighter! Point Dread was a one-room base with the same gray-green, rocky exterior as Castle Grayskull and a “perch” on top for the Talon Fighter. Point Dread’s upper half could be removed and placed atop one of the towers of the Grayskull playset, allowing the Talon Fighter to rest atop Grayskull as shown in the minicomics. The Talon Fighter toy itself had a yellow-orange hull, a blue canopy and red-orange wings and “claw” landing gear. There was also a version of the toy on which a book-and record set was included, with one story on each side of a 7-inch vinyl record and a read-along storybook in comic format.
Snake Mountain
So Snake Mountain was not revealed today, but we know it is coming out, so here is a look at what Snake Mountain looks like on the check list. Again there are no official images yet, but we know that Snake Mountain is coming in the Fall.

Snake Mountain Image from Toy Fair Germany
Special thanks to the one and only Mega Jay Retro and My Buddy’s Customs for alerting us that the Mattel EMEA posted a short video on their LinkedIn page from Toy Fair Germany in Nuremberg and deep within this video was a teaser for the new updated MOTU Origins Snake Mountain and you can see a glimpse of the Talon Fighter! We can clearly see the updated MOTU Origins Snake Mountain and it looks amazing!!! The colors, like Jay from Geek Dad Life pointed out, are corrected and it looks more like the vintage version. The Snake is also a better color and looks to be in the correct place. Between Castle Grayskull and the Snake Mountain you can also see see the front end of the Talon Fighter and part of the cockpit!

Snake Mountain Reveal
Again, another long-awaited fan favorite was revealed today as well! After all this time, we are finally getting a Snake Mountain in the MOTU Origins line! Pictured here was a prototype of Snake Mountain, but so far it looks to be really cool and loaded with brand new play features! There needs to be some more tweaking to the snake design and coloring of the mountain in the front, but what they unveiled today looks so exciting! Let’s take a look at all the goodies it has to offer. At first glance, we can see that they have added the mountain peak to the design so that it resembles the Snake Mountain from the Filmation cartoon a little more closely, but the design still retains those signature features from the vintage playset we all know and love! The classic monster face is still sculpted into the front of the mountain and includes a working jaw. We still have that fun suspension bridge, but this time it looks to have widened so that it can be walkable for your figures! It leads to steps that go up to the gate of Snake Mountain which has that classic wolfs head on the gate. And inside is a ladder similar to that one of Castle Grayskull The cave is also still present near the bottom as well.

On the inside we have the wolf speaker but does not include electronics associated with it and instead we got added play features on the inside. We have for the first time in Origins, Skeletor’s bone throne! We also get an all-new weapons rack as well. And next to the rotatable wolf and bone throne is a trap door that leads to a jail cell., so no more safety net to fall into. The coolest part of this new Snake Mountain in my opinion is the new “Acid Lake”. which has 3D removable creatures into that attach to pegs. It turns out that these pegs work in the peg holes of the torso of the Origins figures, so you can detach you figures at the torso and place them on the lake, so it looks like they are sinking inside! How fun is that??? Snake Mountain is set to be released in the Fall of 2023. You can view more photos that Planet Eternia posted in their detailed article.
