Masterverse Wave 9 In Hand Images

It was only 1 month ago when Masterverse Wave 9 was revealed on the huge drop on MOTU Monday. Well, it’s incredible but Wave 9 is starting to show up a specialty retailers and some collectors are starting to get these figures in hand! We want to give a huge thanks to collector Brian Jankowsk on Facebook for posting these incredible Masterverse Wave 9 In Hand Images! Let’s take a look at Buzz Off, Grizzlor, Mer-Man and Faker In Hand!
Buzz Off
Buzz Off was an exciting reveal and a welcome New Eternia version of a Masterverse character! With all of the accessories that Buzz Off comes with, you can display him in various different looks. The thinner wings on Buzz off and new helmet design are a new look than what we are used to, but it is a fresh take on a classic character. Buzz Off is the figure I am most excited about in this wave! He looks amazing and it totally reimagined with a removable helmet, extra chest armor, and his classic axe!
Grizzlor
Grizzlor was an exciting reveal and a welcome new version of a Masterverse character! It’s neat to see how they gave him a furry removeable vest to create his chest fur. Mattel went with an all plastic head though on this version of Grizzlor, rather than give him a furry head. Im not how I feel about this as one thing I love about Grizzlor is teasing his hair! So this plastic version is a little bit of a let down, but the sculpt is great and still looks cool. Grizzlor looks like his Filmation counterpart with removable fur! I love his painted figure nails, as that is a nice touch! His crossbow has a very nice detailed design as well, as I would assume it’s a take on the Hordak crossbow but in green.
Mer-Man
We are getting the Classic style Mer-Man with very cool armor and his classic sword like we saw in the Revelation series flashback. Mer-Man was an exciting reveal and a welcome new version of a Masterverse character! Although the Revelation version of Mer-Man was a cool figure in his own right, he was a far departure of the Mer-Man we all know and love. Fans were left clamoring for a classic version of Mer-Man in the Masterverse line. His armor has alot of detail to it and looks reminiscent of coral. And of course he comes with his signature corn cob sword!!
Faker
Although the Masters of the Universe Revelation Faker was a cool concept and figure from the Netflix Animated series, fans were lacking the nod to the vintage Faker and this New Eternia version hits the nail on the head! Faker also appeared in the Masters of the Universe Revelation Series but since we got a deluxe version of the figure, our guess is is that this could be a New Eternia version! Jay from Geek Dad Life also saw this figure at the German Toy Fair and said that this figure was blue skinned, with pink armor, and used the slimmer Masters of the Universe Revelation buck versus the beefier 40th Anniversary He-Man buck.
