Wave 2 of DC Retro Super Friends figures are starting to show up in Target Stores. These figures started selling out right away last month when they went up for preorder, so if you didn’t get your hands on them then, then you have a chance to find them in store at Target! This wave includes The Flash, Cheetah, Toyman, Captain Cold, and a special Crimson Cape version of Superman. Whether you’re looking to expand your classic DC roster or snag some of the more unique additions to the Retro line, we’ve got you covered with this next Wave. Back in April, we got to see the incredible reveal of the McFarlane DC Retro Super Powers Wave 1 at New York Toy Fair 2025! Well thanks to Jason Lopez Corgi and preterniadotcomand inpursuitoftoys on Instagram, we now have McFarlane DC Retro Super Friends Wave 2 Leaked images! Knowing that McFarlane will be losing the DC license at the end of 2025, that means that they will need to conclude all manufacturing on DC licensed products by the end of this year. But as far as collector’s are concerned, that means we will get an awful lot of DC products this year and probably into the start of 2026. Then in 2026, Mattel will get the DC license, so what will that mean for the Super Friends and Super Powers line, we don’t know? But in the meantime, we can’t wait to see the amazing DC products from McFarlane! Growing up, I have fond memories of getting up early on Saturday mornings with a bowl of Lucky Charms and plopping down in front of our small 19″ TV set and watching the Super Friends with my sister! I looked forward all week to watching the adventures of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, and the rest battle against the Legion of Doom! I’m so excited that are finally getting McFarlane DC Retro Super Friends and now we are getting to see Wave 2! Wave 2 consists of Superman, Cheetah, Captain Cold, The Flash and The Toyman coming this summer! So let’s dive right into these McFarlane DC Retro Super Friends Wave 2 Leaked images !
Superman
Superman is finally coming out in Wave 2 and he includes a ball and chain of kryptonite! He has a great animated look and a cloth soft goods red cape.
