Back on August 31, 2023, were treated to in hand images of the upcoming Mondo Panthor and now it is time for the preorder to begin! Set to kick off Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 12 NOON CT, Panthor will be available for 10 days only! Also, special thanks to Toy Habits Crew Member Dan Diego for the heads up!
November 15, 2024 UPDATE: First Wave of Panthor’s Shipping
Mondo was not kidding when they said the Mondo Panthor’s would ship in waves as we were notified that the order we’d placed yesterday was shipping today! Here is what they orignally said in their news article: “Wave 1 of Panthors will ship in November, on a first come basis, which means some of you could receive your savage cat before the holidays! If you are within Wave 1, you will receive a shipping notification 1-2 days after placing your order.”

Here Mondo’s Press Release: To concoct our ultimate 1/6 scale Panthor, you know we had to bring back the Battle Cat crew, including concept designer and MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE scholar Emiliano Santalucia, Eternia’s finest sculptors Tommy Hodges and Matthew Black and painter Mark Bristow, official MOTU packaging artist Florian Bertmer, and of course, photographer and keeper of Snake Mountain Raúl Barrero. Just like Battle Cat, our Panthor Timed Edition Figure is 18” in length and features over 60 points of articulation, four swappable heads, a bendable tail, and fully removable body and leg armor. (The armor is removed at the belt by pinching the belt at the connection points. The leg armor is removed by popping off the front paws and sliding the armor down.)
Mondo will be shipping Panthor in two waves.
- Wave 1 of Panthors will ship in November, on a first come basis, which means some of you could receive your savage cat before the holidays! If you are within Wave 1, you will receive a shipping notification 1-2 days after placing your order.
- Wave 2 of Panthors will ship in line with our previous releases. You can expect those to ship in April 2024.
For those who missed out on Skeletor Deluxe this past summer, we will be putting up a new Skeletor Regular Edition along with Panthor. Skeletor Regular Edition is not timed and will remain in stock as long as supplies last.
Our Panthor Timed Edition will be available from Tuesday (11/14) at 12 NOON CT until Friday (11/24) at 11:59 PM CT … only at MondoShop.com.

Mondo Panthor In Hand Images
We want to give a huge thanks to MOTUDAD for posting these early In Hand images of Mondo Panthor! Panthor was on display at booth this year’s San Diego Comic Con, Power Con and Designer Con. He looked incredible with tons of stunningly beautiful painted details and articulation beyond your imagine, down to his individual toes!
You can see the 3 additional alternate heads that Panthor comes with! One Sabertooth mask head, and two unmasked heads.
The box art for Mondo Panthor looks absolutely stunning with Skeletor riding on and a group of Skelecon warriors by his side.
Panthor at this year’s Cons

Panthor and Skeletor at Designer Con
Mondo revealed their deluxe Panthor in all of his mighty glory and this prototype looks outstanding! Who is that riding atop Panthor? It is none other than a brand new sculpt of Skeletor and from what we are seeing from the booth and the concept art, this pair will be making the most killer duo to add to your Mondo shelf! Skeletor is clad in a nice black armor complete with a black hood, which will give him a differentiated look versus previous versions of the Evil Lord of Destruction. Looking at the concept render, it appears he will also come with interchangeable battle armor and real furry shorts, like the deluxe Mondo He-Man that went up for preorder earlier this year and the Anti Eternia He-Man that was also revealed today .
Panthor is clad in his classic green armor with a rams horn helmet very reminiscent of the MOTU Classics design! The saddle looks to have a leathery texture to it and has some very ornate detailing. The prototype captured the deep purple we all know and love from Skelly’s naughty kitty!
He also comes with interchangeable heads, like the Deluxe Battle Cat that went up for preroder this month.

This angle of Skeletor looks absolutely amazing! The paints apps on the figure and the Havoc staff are incredible. The Stirrups on Panthor are a very nice touch!
