After sharing the in-box images earlier, it felt only natural that this story would continue, and I am genuinely excited that we can now follow that up with proper in hand images of the Samurai He Man 200x Cartoon Collection figure thanks once again to viewer Dale, who was lucky enough to track this one down at his local Kmart in Australia. These images give us a chance to slow down and take in the sculpt, colors, and overall presentation in a way that promo shots and box photos simply cannot. Big thanks again to Dale for sticking with us and sharing each step along the way, because updates like this not only keep the momentum going but also give the rest of the community a better idea of what to look for if this figure starts showing up more widely, and it will be interesting to see how long it takes before more collectors begin reporting their own finds.

Samurai He-Man is still encased in the blister, and I love how the figure is presented front and center with the armor, sword, and extra parts clearly laid out around him, giving you a full sense of what’s included before cracking it open. Once everything is removed, the full breakdown shows how completely modular this figure is, with the chest armor, shoulder pieces, bracers, shin guards, boots, helmet, and sword all coming off cleanly to reveal the base body underneath. I’m really digging how the parts separate, and seeing everything laid out like this makes it easy to appreciate just how much tooling and interchangeability went into this release.

The figure is shown with the samurai helmet on and off, and I really like how the helmet completely changes the look, with the horned crest, face guard, and bold paint hits locking the armor together when it’s worn. Without the helmet, the portrait shows off a clean blond sculpt with sharp eyes, and the armor still sits snug around the neck and shoulders without looking awkward. I keep catching myself swapping the helmet back and forth because both looks work, and the way the sword, bracers, shin guards, and chest armor stay consistent makes the change feel purposeful rather than gimmicky.

Walmart Listing
As we get closer to Walmart Collector Con 2025, things are starting to heat up as early listings are surfacing online, giving us a peek behind the curtain before the official reveals drop. What’s really interesting this time around is that some of these figures are showing up under code names, but the details in the listings are spilling the beans! One that immediately jumped out to me was the listing for ORIGINSDELUXEDEVIATE, which appears in Walmart’s Collector Con page and plain as day in the “About this item” section as none other than an ORIGINS DELUXE SAMURAI HE-MAN! Seeing these types of figures pop up early in the system is always an adrenaline rush because it not only confirms that Mattel is pushing deep into the variant and themed side of the MOTU Origins line, but it also sets the stage for some truly wild reveals during Collector Con. We were not expecting this and with Samurai He-Man being called out directly, it leaves me wondering what else might be lurking behind these coded entries. If one figure like this has already surfaced, chances are we’re in for a flurry of exciting discoveries as the event gets closer, and I can’t wait to see what other surprises Walmart and Mattel have up their sleeves! This figure is set to drop on October 10, 2025 at 7am PT!
Promotional Video Starring Sam Pak
A brand-new promotional video has just been added to the Samurai He-Man product page, giving fans an even deeper look at this incredible figure. The video features the talented Design Sam Pak, who walks us through the sculpt, detailing, and design inspiration while tying the figure directly to the 200x Masters of the Universe cartoon. Not only does it offer a closer look at how the design team faithfully brought this animated era of He-Man to life, but it also gives us a tantalizing preview of what the artwork might look like for the deluxe packaging, which has yet to be revealed by Roy Juarez. For collectors who love the artistry behind the packaging as much as the figures themselves, this video is a must-watch glimpse into what’s to come.
The opener features Samurai Armor He-Man standing powerfully against a fiery red and orange cosmic backdrop, sword in hand and glowing with energy. He’s clad in blue and red armor with silver detailing, evoking the 200x design, as the “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” logo blazes above him and text on the right announces the “Deluxe Samurai Armor He-Man,” exclusive to Walmart.

The video shows the figure in full, giving collectors a clear view of the sculpted armor details, metallic paint accents, and proportions of the actual Samurai Armor He-Man. It highlights how the blue and red armor pieces fit over the body, the helmet design, and how the Power Sword looks in hand from multiple angles, offering a more accurate sense of the figure’s final production look.

The figure is shown up close with Sam’s hand pointing toward the stilts, giving a sense of scale and confirming final sculpt details. The shot emphasizes the metallic finish on the armor, the crisp red chest and leg panels, and the Power Sword’s intricate design.

Official Images
Here we get a full look at the 200x Samurai He-Man figure, outfitted in his bright blue and red armored gear with silver highlights. The design includes large angular shoulder pads, shin guards, and bracers that bring out the 200x styling. On one side, he’s shown wearing the full samurai helmet with gold-tipped horns, while the alternate display shows him without it, revealing his classic blond hair.

Here we can see him fitted with his stilt foot attachments, which give him added height and a unique mechanical look. One pose shows him lunging forward with sword in hand, while the other highlights the back view where the sword is stored securely across his armor.

Here he’s shown without the helmet wielding his power sword. One stance has the blade raised high, ready to strike, and the other shows him braced in a defensive position, showing off the armored details and stilt attachments on his boots.
