Huge thanks to toyshiz for posting images of the Technodrome TMNT Playmates Classics Amazon exclusive playset that was on display at Sweet Suite 2024. The playset is due out September 16, 2024 and is a total blast from the past! This playset was discovered on Amazon without any official images and this totally tubular playset is on Amazon and went up for preorder out of the blue back on June 7, 2024. Since then, official images have been added and now we have the box design and some in-hand images of the actual playset to share. The Technodrome is back in stock on Amazon as you will not want to miss out on this classic playset! For now, enjoy the box and in-hand images of the set displayed at Sweet Suite 2024 of the Technodrome to tide you over until this playset arrives to your collection!
The Technodrome looks amazing and it’s so cool that Playmates released this set as it is iconic and very expensive on the secondary market! The ginormous eyeball looks outstanding!
Inside the playset you can see the jail cell and Krang’s living quarters. This thing measures a whomping 13.5″ tall! The eye ball on the top of the Amazon exclusive Technodrome pops off and rolls down to attack your enemies!
We are hoping at the Technodrome connects with a future TMNT Sewer playset but we can only dream for now. A Turtle can be secured to the brain scrambler by a strap and you can wind it up and release it and he will spin around scrambling his brain, hence why they call it the brain scrambler!

Techodrome TMNT Cartoon
The Technodrome was massive in the TMNT cartoon! According to Turtlepedia, “In the 1987 TV series, the Technodrome served as the Foot Clan’s base. Although a large skyscraper was seen at the beginning of the series as a corporate headquarters for the Foot, it was revealed that underground passages lead from it directly to the Technodrome. It was a base of the Shredder and Krang and served as transportation and a battle fortress. The Technodrome was constantly moved throughout the 1987 series, but always maintained itself as the center of the Foot Clan leadership, until it was rendered inoperable and abandoned.”
