Huge thank to mightycomics_collectibles for the tip as word just came in that Trap Jaw has officially surfaced for preorder as a Walmart exclusive, and this is exactly the kind of retailer-specific rollout we were expecting after Mattel confirmed that the Masters of the Universe Origins movie figures would be split across different stores. If you caught our earlier coverage when the first wave of Origins movie, Chronicles, and Core preorders went live, you already know that Target picked up figures like He-Man, Spikor and the Fright Fighter vehicle, so it makes sense that Trap Jaw would find a home elsewhere, and Walmart is where he’s landed. This is a deluxe oversized release, meaning he’ll stand taller than your standard 5.5-inch Origins figures, which feels right for a character who’s always had that imposing, hulking presence whether you’re talking about the vintage line, the Filmation cartoon, or now the 2026 live-action movie. He comes packed with 16 points of articulation, multiple movie-related accessories, removable body parts for mix-and-match customization, and a character-specific Collector Card, all designed with actor likenesses rendered in that classic Origins style that bridges the gap between modern movie aesthetics and the retro feel collectors have come to love from this line. Priced at $26.97 with a ship date of July 1, 2026, this is one you’ll want to lock in sooner rather than later since Walmart exclusives have a way of disappearing without much warning. You can grab the preorder over at Walmart right now. I’m genuinely curious to see how the full movie lineup shakes out across retailers, and whether we’ll see even more characters pop up at other stores as we get closer to the film’s release.

Trap Jaw MOTU Origins Movie Figure stands taller than the standard Origins scale, with blue skin, a tattered brown fur loincloth, and olive green armor plating on his belt and thighs. His massive mechanical arm ends in a hook attachment, and a blade is displayed alongside him as an alternate accessory.

The metallic gunmetal finish on Trap Jaw’s armored legs and shoulder pauldron has a nice sheen to it, with riveted details sculpted into the plates. His red helmet frames that green face with a jawless, toothy grin that’s classic Trap Jaw through and through.

Outfitted with a leather-look harness strap across his torso, Trap Jaw’s chest area shows sculpted rivet details along the brown crossbody band. I’m really digging the hook accessory on his mechanical arm, which has a nice silver plastic finish that contrasts well against the dark gunmetal of the arm itself.

Armed with the hook attachment extended outward, Trap Jaw’s mechanical arm shows off the layered cylindrical sculpt of its barrel section, with concentric ring details and a pointed spike protruding just behind the hook. The spiked shoulder pauldron and chest armor have a heavy, industrial look that fits the movie redesign well.

Trap Jaw’s green face is captured here with his mouth open, showing off the sculpted teeth along his upper jaw. The olive green belt and brown fur loincloth break up the blue torso nicely, and those dark mechanical legs have a ton of sculpted mechanical detail running all the way down to the boots.
