Zap-Man, Kikto, and Holographo MOTU Origins Rulers of the Sun 3-Pack In Hand Images

Thanks to a lucky collector on Facebook, we get to see the new RoS MOTU Origins in hand with some great toy photography!

With the new MOTU Origins Rulers of the Sun 3-Pack featuring Kikto, Holographo, and Zap-Man hitting Target, in hand images were bound to show up soon and thanks to Jalen Harding on Facebook, he was one of the lucky collectors that got their hands on this new 3-Pack featuring two never produced figures from the vintage Rulers of the Sun line. Not only did he take some amazing pics, the Skeleton Warriors made a cameo in his battle and [SPOILER ALERT], they got the crap kicked out them!

The Rulers of the Sun line is complete with this latest 3-pack, that is a Target exclusive. The tri of figures makes this 3-pack unique and a nod to the history of the line, as only half of the figures were produced.

I love the way Jalen used lightning effects on Zap-Man and it goes to show you that a little creativity can make a figure stellar! Zap-Man is featured in all yellow with a splash of blue and the energy effects go really well with the figure. He also added them on Bolt Man!

Holographo, as the Toy Sorceress affectionately says, “he looks like he’s got a pizza on his chest for armor.” He comes with a long orange sword and it looks like he rearing it back for maximum carnage.

Kikto is doing what he does does best, kicking the crap out of the Skeleton Warriors! He’s also laid waste to Jitzu (poor guy)!

On Target Shelves

Special thanks to Toy Habits Crew Member Rob2023 for the heads up that the Target exclusive Rulers of the Sun 3-Pack, which has Kikto, Zap-Man, and Holographo, is hitting Target stores. This set has been frustrating for some collectors, including myself, that have had their preorders canceled or delayed by Target but fear not, I am sure these sets will be warming shelves soon, like the previous 3-Pack release. So far this 3-Pack has been sited in Memphis and Ohio and with Slush Head’s Masterverse street date being October 1, 2023, we are wondering if this Rulers of the Sun 3-Pack will be showing up soon!

Target has put up the new RoS 3-Pack that contains Kikto, Holographo, and Zap-Man!

The box art for this 3-Pack is outstanding as usual and they come in similar styled packing as the first RoS 3-Pack!

Holographo

Holographo, the Futuristic Scientist, is another unproduced Rulers of the Sun figure and makes a fanastic addition to the line!

Kikto

Kikto is another unproduced Rulers of the Sun figure and he is the “expert kick boxer.”

Zap-Man

Zap-Man is another unproduced Rulers of the Sun figure and he is the “Micro-Laser Specialist.”

Roy Juarez is back at it again and this time he revealed the box art for the soon to be released Target exclusive Rulers of the Sun 3-pack featuring Kikto, Holographo, and Zap-Man. These are the last Rulers of the Sun figures to be produced for the MOtU Origins line, which are coming out at the end of July 2023.

July 16, 2023 Update: Kikto, Holographo, and Zap-Man Card Bio’s Revealed

Following up on the latest Rulers of the Sun Target exclusive 3-pack box art reveal, Roy Juarez posted the images of the special cards that come packed with these figures! Roy states in his IG post:

The art is absolutely stellar and it shows Kikto, Holographo, and Zap-Man battling some red Demon creatures. We are not sure if these red Demon creatures will be made into figures but anything is possible.

The back of the box is the money shot! We now have a full illustration of the Rulers of the Sun line, which is an homage to the original way the promo shots were photographed in the vintage Rulers of the Sun line.

The panel features all of the Rulers of the sun figures and it is a gorgeous piece of art!
