Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 Kickstarter Is Live

Hatter Toys has officially launched its Kickstarter campaign for Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2, and I couldn’t be more excited to see these figures finally getting their chance to become a reality! I’ve really grown to love this line, not just because of the fantastic character designs, but because of how brilliantly it pokes fun at the action figure collecting hobby. From toy flippers and outrageous aftermarket prices to retail exclusives and the never-ending frustration of hunting down figures, Hatter Toys has created an entire universe around the things collectors know all too well. The characters are wonderfully ridiculous, the names are hilarious, and the lore behind them makes everything even better. Wave 2 takes that concept even further with the massive Hound of Tarjayy, an army of Tarjayy Guards, miniature carded figures, and a whole lineup of additional characters waiting to be unlocked.

We’ve been following the development of Wave 2 for quite some time, starting with our early coverage of the Kickstarter plans. Things really started getting interesting when we spotted several mystery figures at SDCC 2026, giving us a glimpse of just how much Hatter Toys had planned for this expanding universe. Since then, we’ve also covered the reveal of Evil-Bae, the line’s hilarious take on the high-end auction world, along with Catcha-Pult, another wonderfully absurd addition to the Champions of Nefarity mythology. Now that the Kickstarter is live, we finally have the complete breakdown of the available figures, pledge levels, exclusive bonuses, and stretch goals. There’s quite a bit to unpack, so we’re going to walk through everything collectors need to know before deciding how to back the campaign.

Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 promotional artwork

The Kickstarter campaign launched October 13, 2026, with a $200,000 funding goal. As of our October 13 campaign snapshot, it had raised $86,769 from 260 backers. The all-or-nothing campaign ends November 17, 2026, at 5 PM Pacific. Some characters pictured in the promotional material remain locked behind stretch goals, so it is important to understand what is available before choosing a pledge.

Hound of Tarjayy ($75)

The Hound of Tarjayy might be my favorite character from Wave 2 so far. I mean, a giant werewolf-like bull terrier that terrorizes toy collectors in a fictional retail marketplace? That’s exactly the kind of absurd creativity that makes this line so much fun. Standing approximately 8 inches tall, the Hound is the first deluxe figure in the line, sculpted by Brandon Gash.

The character illustration shows the white bull terrier-inspired Hound with spiked armor, a red fur loincloth, and a heavy chain attached to a red bollard, with a spectral canine looming behind him.

For $75, the Hound includes three interchangeable heads, four sets of hands, shoulder armor, a spiked collar, neck gorget, chest strap, Staff of Tarjayy, two daggers with belt sheaths, left and right Cart Busters, a red bollard and chain, and the Cursed Head of Kar-N. Between the snarling expressions, oversized accessories, and middle finger hands, there is a lot of personality packed into this figure.

The Hound’s accessory layout shows his three head options, interchangeable hands, red bollard and chain, staff, Cart Busters, and other equipment, along with a miniature carded Hound figure.

Tarjayy Guards ($38 Each)

Of course, the Hound cannot patrol the Tarjayy marketplace alone. That is where the Tarjayy Guards come in, and these guys are another great example of how Hatter Toys turns the everyday frustrations of collecting into something hilarious. Available in light and dark skin-tone versions for $38 each, the Guards wear bright red armor with a target-inspired emblem. Both versions include a removable helmet, an additional masked head, spear, shield, stun baton, shoplifter cuffs, removable armor, and extra hands, including the obligatory middle finger gesture.

The dark skin-tone Tarjayy Guard is shown in red armor with a round shield, spear, baton, cuffs, masked head, and extra hands. A matching carded mini-figure appears in the accessory display.

The light skin-tone Tarjayy Guard features the same red armored uniform and target-inspired chest emblem, with its removable helmet, separate masked head, shield, spear, baton, and additional accessories displayed alongside it.

What I particularly like about these figures is their army-building potential. The promotional artwork showing entire legions of red Tarjayy Guards alongside the blue Walmaria Guards really sells the concept of these rival retail forces. The Walmaria Guards are still locked behind the campaign’s funding milestones, but I would love to see both factions become a reality.

The “Build Your Legions” artwork lines up ranks of red Tarjayy Guards opposite blue Walmaria Guards, showing the army-building possibilities if the Walmaria figures are unlocked.

Hound & Guards 3-Pack ($145)

If you are already planning to pick up the Hound and a couple of Guards, the $145 Hound & Guards 3-Pack looks like a great option. It includes the Hound of Tarjayy and two Tarjayy Guards, with your choice of skin-tone variants. There is also an exclusive grinning Hound head sculpt that is not included with the standard individual Hound figure. The head is also included in the One of Each and UltraGreat bundles.

The three-pack promotional artwork pairs the white Hound of Tarjayy with two red-armored Tarjayy Guards, one of each pictured skin tone, and highlights the exclusive grinning Hound head.

Carded Mini-Figures ($25)

And because Hatter Toys apparently understands that action figure collectors can never have enough action figures, Wave 2 also includes miniature carded versions of the characters! The $25 set includes Flip-Or, Tarjayy Guard, Walmaria Guard, Evil-Bae, Hound of Tarjayy, and Flak-R, plus a Kickstarter-exclusive Spirit of Flip-Or mini-figure as a bonus. I love this idea. They are tiny versions of the characters packaged like actual retail action figures, which feels perfectly appropriate for a toy line constantly making jokes about collecting toys.

The mini-figure display shows six tiny individually carded characters, with the translucent Spirit of Flip-Or presented as an exclusive bonus. A close-up emphasizes their miniature blister-card packaging.

Hatter Toys is also including a free corresponding carded mini-figure with each qualifying standard Wave 2 figure purchased, provided that character is unlocked and offered through the campaign.

One of Each Bundle ($275)

For collectors already sold on the entire concept, the $275 One of Each Bundle includes the Hound of Tarjayy, both Tarjayy Guard skin-tone variants, Evil-Bae, and both Walmaria Guard variants, along with the exclusive grinning Hound head and qualifying mini-figures.

The One of Each promotional lineup shows the Hound, both red Tarjayy Guards, Evil-Bae, and two blue Walmaria Guards. Evil-Bae and the Walmaria Guards are stretch-goal characters, not currently unlocked figures.

Several figures pictured in this bundle are still locked. Hatter Toys says that if they do not unlock, their value will be converted into credit toward available unlocked items rather than guaranteeing the full pictured lineup.

UltraGreat All-In Bundle ($550)

Then there is the $550 UltraGreat All-In Bundle, which takes things considerably further. The planned lineup includes the Hound, both Tarjayy Guards, both Walmaria Guards, Evil-Bae, W.A.L.U.T.T., additional mystery Hound and Bae figures, the mini-figure collection, the exclusive Spirit of Flip-Or, and the grinning Hound head. As with the One of Each Bundle, locked characters depend on reaching their funding milestones, and Hatter Toys says their value becomes credit toward unlocked items if those goals are not reached.

The UltraGreat promotional graphic brings together the Hound, Guards, Evil-Bae, carded mini-figures, and silhouetted mystery characters. The silhouettes and other stretch-goal characters represent the planned lineup, not guaranteed unlocked rewards.

The UltraGreat Bundle also includes one of my favorite bonuses from the campaign: an exclusive Tarjayy Employee Flip-Or and Cat-cha set. Seeing Flip-Or dressed in a red employee hoodie with a Tarjayy emblem, complete with a matching Cat-cha, is such a funny addition to the collection.

Tarjayy Employee Flip-Or wears a red sleeveless hooded top with a target-inspired emblem, white arm wraps, and red furry trunks and boots. The matching red Cat-cha is pictured alongside a backpack, money bag, extra hand, and other accessories.

Other Kickstarter Rewards

The $70 Flip-Or and Flak-R Version 2 two-pack offers slightly recolored versions of the original figures, along with Cat-cha and assorted accessories. Smaller rewards include a $15 Flipper coin, a $10 Cat-cha pin, and a $10 keychain. For $2,500, the “Become a Mark of Nefarity” tier includes the UltraGreat bundle, a character likeness in a forthcoming graphic novel, and a signed copy. The $8,000 “Become a Toy Flipper of Nefarity” tier adds a custom figure with a personalized head sculpt, backing-card artwork, two copies of the custom figure, and an appearance in the graphic novel.

Wave 2 Stretch Goals

One of the things that makes this Kickstarter particularly interesting is how much more Hatter Toys has planned beyond the initial figures. We have already covered Evil-Bae and the mystery figures spotted at SDCC 2026. Now we have a better idea of how those characters fit into the campaign.

The first stretch goal arrives at $100,000 with a mystery Cursed Hound figure, followed by additional marketplace characters and reveals at $200,000. Evil-Bae unlocks at $315,000, an A.T. Emma bonus is planned for every order at $350,000, and additional mystery Bae figures are planned at $375,000 and $400,000. None of these stretch goals had unlocked as of the October 13 snapshot, but there is certainly plenty here I would love to see make it into production.

Where to Back the Kickstarter

The Flip-Or and the Champions of Nefarity Wave 2 Kickstarter runs through November 17, 2026, at 5 PM Pacific. This is an all-or-nothing campaign, so it must reach its $200,000 funding goal for pledges to be collected. Additional stretch-goal characters depend on reaching their respective milestones.
